The only place I could find that had the right drive shaft for my truck. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

Unfortunately, while doing the rear brakes, I encountered some unexpected issues. I called O'Reilly and they confirmed the parts are available and placed a hold on them. I rushed over to pickup. All the employees were very helpful and friendly. I was in and out and back home to complete the repair. The great thing about o'reilly, is the free return and warranty should anything go wrong. Which of course, the next day I discovered one of the parts was defective. O'Reilly did not have another one in stock, however, they located availability in another store. I came back in an hour, to exchanged the part under the warranty so no additional cost! Definitely recommend checking out O'Reilly for your car supplies and needs.

Engine cover under the bumper popped out and was bent backwards when I stopped. Got ready for a tow but decided to try duct tape - happened to find this O'Reillys where Ricardo came out to look at it. He popped it in, showed us what had happened and advised how to tighten up the screws, so I could actually still drive to work. He was friendly, an expert, and made my day so much better. Highly recommend this store and the staff here!

Whenever I am missing or forgetting a part or in a rush for a replacement, this AutoZone location…read morein Daly City never failed me. The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly, as they always help me find what I need quickly, especially during my DIY car repair projects. The employees usually recognize me, as I come here often for auto parts, car wash supplies, and other car items, which makes the experiences feel more personal. Just keep in mind the staff aren't mechanics, so don't expect them to diagnose, fix, or install items on your car, they're experts to sell parts, loan tools, and offer advice to help you do it yourself. The staff are usually going out of their way to help customers work on their cars in rare occasions. The store is well-organized and stocked, they tend to be on the pricier side and don't price match online stores with the exception of O'Reilly, which is usually the same price. That's pretty expected at auto parts stores, though when you're paying for the convenience of getting parts immediately. If you need to get back on the road in an emergency, I would definitely pay extra to get the part right away. I also bring my used motor oil and oil filters here for recycling. While many reviewers complain about customer service and taking empty motor containers is not their responsibility. If you want reliable parts fast with helpful staff and don't mind doing the work yourself, this is a solid spot in Daly City to buy auto parts. There is also plenty of parking available in their private lot.

This was by far the worst AutoZone experience I've ever had. The employees at this location were…read morecompletely unprofessional and unbelievably unhelpful. The moment we asked Paul for help, he immediately said he wasn't going to do it. Adrian then suddenly found something else to do and avoided helping us until we asked him multiple times. When he finally came outside, he admitted he didn't even know how to replace a battery. We were left trying to figure everything out ourselves. When we went back inside to ask for tools, Parts Expert John was completely useless. Instead of helping us, we had to search for the tools ourselves, only to find out they didn't even have what we needed. The entire staff acted like helping customers was an inconvenience. We were ignored, brushed off, and left to do the job ourselves despite coming to AutoZone specifically for assistance. If this is the level of customer service this store considers acceptable, management needs to seriously rethink who they're hiring and how they're training employees. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.

However, the bulb I was directed to purchase ended up not being compatible with my vehicle. I assumed everything had been reassembled properly, but immediately afterward, I received a dashboard alert about my DRL system. I returned to the service center just minutes later, only to be told that the employee who helped me was on a one-hour lunch break. What disappointed me most was how unhelpful the rest of the staff were- they claimed no one else could help and it felt like they were more focused on covering for their coworker than assisting me. Out of respect for his time, I waited the full hour. When he returned, he claimed the alert had been on prior and that the light was already out. After I pushed back, he reconnected the wiring, and fortunately, the alert disappeared and the light started working again.
