It's been while since I made it back to visit, and this was only for coffee. My Overall Rating - 3 1/2 Stars (Atmosphere, Food, Return) Atmosphere - My visit was during August (super-hot in Texas). The inside was uncomfortably warm. The space is an assortment of comfortable and inviting seating. Luckly for me, I was able to grab a table right when someone left. Very cool vibes, just so dang hot. Muggy vibes. 1/2 Star. Service - Only one person was working. Luckily for me, there wasn't a line, but I did have to wait while the barista made someone's coffee. While the inside of Drizzle is cool and welcome, I didn't get the same vibe from the one staff member. Weird vibes. No Stars. Food - Good thing he made an excellent coffee. I ordered an Iced Macchiato, and I have to say it was one of the best drinks I've had. The staff asked if I wanted caramel (yes!) and proceeded to take time to expertly craft my drink. On paper cheesecake on a stick dipped in chocolate sounds amazing. In theory though it's just okay. The outer covering of them is a nice thick and sweet chocolate coating. In the case of the strawberry it's a white chocolate and the snickers was a milk chocolate. However the cheesecake itself is quite bland and just the most basic cheese cake ever. To add, the snickers was just not that good at all. Apparently it is a limited option so you're better off getting the base flavors. If I am in the Irving area I may be coming back to try another flavor coating, but I will not be going out of my way to try these again. read more

Can't go wrong with that. - Churro Crumble - 4.5/5 - Churro, Dulce De Leche Sauce and Cheesecake. Great combination. Make sure to find a place to sit down, as these are a good size. However, these are frozen and you need some time before you try and indulge. Lastly, I think the price of $13 is a little steep for these as well. However, I know everything is higher these days. I tried drizzle cheesecakes at the state fair of Texas for the first time! The Biscoff cheesecake is viral on social media so I just knew I had to get it. The man helping me at the fair was very friendly and suggested I get that one as well. They had 10 different desserts to choose from. Made a special trip out to Drizzle since seeing them go viral. The shop is super cute, and they do validate parking for the garage which is very nice. The menu is pretty easy to follow as well. I ordered the biscoff (which I think they're well known for) and a red velvet. I ordered the red velvet specifically because I wanted a different flavored cheesecake. Unfortunately the cheesecake here is just not worth the hype, in my opinion. It's around $12 per slice and the cheesecake itself does not have a lot of the classic tangy flavor I crave from a good cheesecake. It doesn't have very much flavor at all, honestly. All of the flavor comes from the toppings. The whole slice is dipped in chocolate, no matter what you order (the chocolate itself varies) and the shell is very thick. The biscoff was definitely better than the red velvet, since the drizzle was cookie butter and had a lot of flavor. But ultimately I'd rather have the cheesecake be the star if I'm at a cheesecake store. read more

I actually was in the area to pick up food and saw this spot. I ran in real quick and asked what was most popular. She said the biscoff and strawberry. I went with strawberry. She was on the phone the whole time, which I felt was inappropriate. I wasn't sure when she was talking to me or the person on the other end. At minimum, tell them to hold on until you're done with your customer. Anyway, the cheesecake very sweet which was to be expected. It's covered in what seemed like a white chocolate candy coating. We arrived about 20 minutes before closing, and while the service was fast, the staff was just okay--not rude, but not particularly welcoming either. The Biscoff cheesecake had a strong cookie flavor, which some may love, but for me, it was a bit too much--I probably wouldn't order it again. The Strawberry Shortcake cheesecake, on the other hand, had a much better balance of flavors and wasn't overly sweet. One downside was that the complimentary water station was empty, even though there were still patrons dining. After indulging in rich cheesecake, water was definitely needed. Overall, the desserts were good, but the lack of attentiveness to small details like refilling water took away from the experience. I've been wanting to try Drizzle Cheesecakes ever since they got popular from the State Fair, and when we were in the area, I just knew I had to try it. The interior was beautiful and nicely decorated with plenty of seating. All the flavors sounded spectacular, but we narrowed it down to the Biscoff Delight and the Strawberry Crunch so we could try one of each base, white and milk chocolate. I wasn't a huge fan of the Strawberry crunch because it had a very artificial strawberry taste to me, and the outer strawberry layer was a bit too thick. The cheesecake was still frozen inside when I tried to eat it, so it's probably best to wait a little bit to let it thaw. The Biscoff Delight was much tastier but still had a very thick outer layer. I liked how this one wasn't super sweet, and it closely resembled the actual flavors of a Biscoff cookie. At $12.99 per cheesecake, it is a bit on the pricier side, but definitely worth trying at least once. read more

I want to start by saying that I have been to drizzle twice in the last three weeks so it is definitely worth it. Now that that is out of the way, drizzle is located next to Alamo in Las Colina the first time that I went shortly after opening it was a very rainy night, but Was still pretty busy inside. My friend and I ordered the churro and the hazelnut we both preferred the churro (spoiler I got it to share on the second visit as well) so it was delicious! the ambiance is beautiful and relaxing and would be a great spot for a spot to work at. My sister and I came on a Saturday around 3 and I expected more customers but it wasn't busy at all so we had time to look over the menu. I decided on the hazelnut deluxe and sis got the biscoff delight and an iced coffee. While waiting for our order , we sat and waited and I got the chance to look around. The interior is nice, but I noticed it wasn't the cleanest, dirty tables and chairs. My cheesecake looked delicious as did my sister's and the box they came in is so cute and convenient for eating on the go. My sister loved her cheesecake and coffee. I actually enjoyed the thick chocolate /nut coating more than I did the cheesecake itself. The cheesecake part tasted very generic ,not much flavor really. I also would have liked more strawberries. I came here Sunday after the opened on Saturday. I live around here so I noticed the line was really crazy Saturday. It wasn't as bad Sunday. The cheesecake's normal pricing are just shy of 13$ each. Opening weekend there was a 30% off sale. It's an interesting concept and it feels really fun and decadent to eat it. It is also a nice photo op. I got the Strawberry Cheese and Hazelnut Cheesecake. The ambiance was very posh and nice, and this place would be a nice place to get a dessert while waiting for parking lot traffic to die down, or go before hand to get a snack before a show. They also serve coffee. Now regarding the food: Strawberry Cheesecake: to make it they take the cheesecake which are individually wrapped and douse them with the crunchy element and dip it in fondue, then drizzle sauce over the top. Understandably, this makes the cheesecakes really really sweet. It's probably too sweet for my palate, but I'm one of those ppl whose high form of compliment to a dessert is: oh it's not too sweet. If you usually get your milk tea at 25- 30% sweetness, this cheesecake is too sweet. The other thing is, since the fondue is warm, i think the cheesecake goes into the fondue sort of cold. My cheesecake had a bit of a still too cold interior due to this. Hazelnut Cheesecake: I had this after dinner the same day. the nut part of the coating was too much and like the strawberry one, it was much too sweet. There wasn't like the icier part in the inside like the last one however.
