My first review focused on the milkshakes, but after a few more visits I'm ready to update my review of the "More" part of Milkshakes & More. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Drinks, Return) Atmosphere - On my fall visit in October, I noticed Milkshakes & More now has fall themed decorations on the walls and tables. Soft table covers wrapped around the round tabletops and gave a nice outdoor café look. There's also new benched seating. Of course, all the great ice cream and treats continue to beckon you in to place an order. 1 Star. Service - The staff on my Friday afternoon and Saturday night visits were great. They welcomed be to try any ice cream flavor and let me take my time to view the menu to place my order. They made me feel welcome with their smiles. 1 Star. Drinks - The "More" part of Milkshakes & More is a lot. They serve coffee, bubble tea, smoothies, and desserts. I ordered the Water Buffalo, which was their version of a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. It was sweet, creamy, and refreshing. It tasted...well...exactly like a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. On my next visit, my daughter ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea. I like my boba firm, but not hard (undercooked) or soggy (overcooked). The boba was perfect (not sure if they cook it in house) and the Brown Sugar Milk Tea wasn't overly sweet. I was craving a smoothie and saw this place while driving in the plaza. The restaurant is super clean and bright. There was one employee working, which sucked for him. There was a family ordering when I arrived, so he was very busy. I am a fan of the Aloha Pineapple at another smoothie place, so I ordered this here. What I really appreciate is that they do not add sugar, so it is much healthier. The employee explained that I could add a Health Booster, which I chose chia seeds. I sat down while he made the orders. He brought the smoothie straight to me with a boba straw. It was super delicious and I really did not miss the extra sugar. One of my girlfriend's had suggested this little dessert shop and we stopped in a few months ago to give it a try. It was empty at almost 9pm, but that just gave us a chance to chat with the owner who we found out is also from NJ originally and has a similar background to my husband and grew up a few towns over from where my family is. He was super nice and let us try any of the ice cream flavors we wanted - in general it was just nice having a real conversation with a small business owner. While they aren't the cheapest around, their ice cream was yummy with lots of options to try. (I believe they carry henry's homemade which is premium). I got a kids scoop of the wedding cake ice cream with some sprinkles. My husband got a milkshake. We hope to come back again soon! read more

I was looking for some good boba after running some errands. Milkshakes & More was very clean and organized. They definitely have more than milkshakes. The ice cream looked amazing and they had other treats to purchase. I got a brown sugar, Boba tea. The servers were incredible and friendly. The tea is made in small batches, and I even got to see them steep some looseleaf tea which was very impressive. My Boba was delicious and it had a strong taste of tea which I prefer. My friend found this gem on Google, and we decided to give it a try. The owner was incredibly nice, letting us sample anything we wanted. I ended up getting the Italian wedding cake ice cream--it's honestly the best I've ever had. The ice cream is made locally in Plano, and they also have delicious pastries like brownies and cookies from the bakery two doors over. This local business has a really friendly staff and a bright, clean interior. They serve Boba Vietnamese iced tea and beautiful chocolates too. The best part is their outstanding customer service. I have a sweet tooth girly so naturally, I am always on the lookout for spots to satisfy my cravings. I saw this spot a few months ago and told myself that I would circle back to try it out. I finally tried it a week ago and let's just say I have been twice within a week. Both times I got the Salted Caramel Oreo shake and it was delicious. There are toffee pieces and Oreo bits inside making it a sweet tooth's fantasy. The service was great as I was treated both times upon walking in. It is a clean establishment and pretty spacious to accommodate a possible rush. Definitely my new favorite shake spot. Check it out if you are ever in Irving! read more

This review is a long time coming... Milkshakes and More has become one of my absolute favorite places to go. Bill and his staff are AWESOME! I have been a frequent customer and have been doing my absolute best to make my way through the whole menu. The Milkshakes are all fantastic and the More... man, I love it. Besides the speciality milkshakes on the menu, which are all delicious, they will go ahead and really use any combo of ice cream to make any kind you want. Now, what has become my absolute favorite part of the menu... the coffee. Bill's cold brew is the absolute best I have ever had. There are a few variations, but the Taste of Texas is my favorite. Use that with any type of creamer or flavor and you have yourself a winner. I have no reason to ever go anywhere else for coffee, so I don't and won't. And the speciality coffees.... OH MADONE! I have made it through most of the menu, and they're all ridiculously good. Seriously, Bill, you are a maestro. The Japanese Pika has become my favorite coffee drink of ALL TIME. Highly recommended, hell, they all are! Also, shout out the the iced teas, especially the butterfly blue pea tea. Any of the flavors will be good for you. Just the right amount, not overpowering sweetness. So good. And there's still so much more for me to dive into and i absolutely will. Refreshers are on the menu (sorry Starbucks, you're not completely obsolete,) gourmet hot chocolate, milk teas and speciality milk teas, smoothies, etc... I told you bill, the moment I can get breakfast, lunch, and dinner here, it's game over for anywhere else. I'm waiting on that filet! All in all, get over here, there's going to something for everyone. Honestly had a pretty bad experience. Went in here with my family, ordered a shake and asked for chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla for the raspberry chocolate milkshake. The milkshake originally came with chocolate ice cream, chocolate chips, and raspberry swirl. I let them know I had a nut allergy, so they were able to wash the spoon for the ice cream, which I appreciated. However, when they gave me my shake, there was barely any raspberry syrup, and it was all the way on the bottom. There were also no chocolate chips at all. I had to ask them to put the chocolate chips that it was SUPPOSED to come with. She then put like 10 chocolate chips on top. They honestly just seemed pretty lazy, and willing to easily disappoint a customer with thinking twice about it - and the shakes were mid (and expensive). I ended up getting a scoop of Wedding Cake ice cream (which had a creamy amaretto flavor) and a scoop of Toffee (coffee lovers delight) with Espresso poured on top! It's called an "Affogato" and was absolutely delicious. Their ice cream is handmade from Plano, TX and tastes super creamy.
