I am highly impressed with they way they are handling the corona virus situation! I have called several sweet bread places and they all seem to be operating as normal (customers can self serve themselves bread). Not this place! Outside you will see a line, people are spaced 6 feet apart! This is bc they are only allowing one person at a time in the store. The door handle has hand sanitizer taped to it, and inside the worker gets your bread for you! They are doing an awesome job at helping to prevent the spread of Corona! Not to mention, their sweet bread is one of the best around! The only sad thing was they were out of my pig cookies today! They are always soft, fresh, and yummy! Regardless, all their sweet bread is just great!

I visited this panadería due to the high reviews - but I think it's overall average in my opinion. The bread is good, and so is the selection. But these aren't gourmet pan dulces by any means. They are priced well. All in all, I'd say this is your typical, authentic, run of the mill panadería.

Hole in Wall with Fresh and Tasty Pastry.Very small in size but lot of choices which might confuse you. Grab a tray and place whatever you like and pay at the counter. I took some churros, cookie, pies and something which just costed me $4.50 and everything was good. Pros: ------- Fresh Pastries Cheap Quick Check out Free Parking They make birthday cakes on order Cons: ------- None to me You can't beat the Mex in Tex!!!!

Hubby and I were looking for a Tres Leches Birthday cake for his mom and found this online with good reviews. Took a chance on the Mom and Pop place and WOW! Its a quaint and delicious smelling shop! Forgot to take pics of the pastries or cake but we will definitely be going back. We bought the sweet bread, piña empanada, m&m cookie, flaky creme pastry, and their small Tres Leches Cake. Everything besides the piña empanada we would buy again!! Cake was absolutely beautiful with fresh fruit and just delicious! Hopefully next time I'll remember to take pics

After careful consideration, this is one of the best sweet bread places I have been able to find in the DFW area. The bread is always fresh and authentic. They also make a similar bread to my state in Mexico. I have a really hard time finding anything even close to that here in the states. They have also done a really good job managing a business during Covid19. Kudos to panadería ahualulco!

Awesome place, definitely one of our favorite to get pan dulce. They also have really good tamales on the weekends.

Nice variety and the conchas were very fresh. The location is a bit hidden but worth the hunt.

The food looks delicious and well labeled and organized in the casing. All allergies and food ingredients are listed. I am obsessed with anything they do with strawberries and chocolate and my recent favorite is the Belgian waffle with strawberries and chocolate drizzle. Yum! My constant favorite is the Lavender Matcha Frappuccino, I get it every time I go. I also really love the Matcha mochi doughnut on the side sometimes. They have great breakfast sandwiches as well, but if you're like me, you ask them for a special order to take the mayonnaise/mustard off of it. You cannot go wrong with this place. The outdoor patio consists of just a couple of tables on the sidewalk, which can make it difficult if you're visiting alone with your dog, as there's no shaded or cooled seating outside while you go in to order. And inside it's not dog friendly. Inside, the décor presents a mix of tables and chairs that matches the French café atmosphere. The menu focuses mainly on French pastries. Prices are on the higher side, so I was hoping for a bit more in terms of quality. I tried the six mini croissants (around $7), which were good but tasted slightly stale. The crab pastry was the highlight--fresh, flavorful, and something I'd happily order again. I also tried the Nutella-filled sugar doughnut, which was a bit disappointing. The filling was quite runny and tasted more diluted than rich, lacking the distinctive hazelnut thick flavor you'd expect. I was looking forward to eating a croissant today, but this place didn't quite have what I was expecting

I started with the croque monsieur, and it was exactly what I was craving. The cheese was perfectly melted and bubbly, and that hint of dill on top really pulled it all together. I also grabbed a slice of the lorraine quiche, which was incredibly savory with a crust that was so buttery and flaky it practically melted in my mouth. For dessert, the chocolate kouign-amann was a total standout, super crispy on the outside with those rich, sweet layers inside. I paired it with an iced chai latte, which was perfectly spiced and not overly sweet. They have a small outdoor seating section that is perfect for catching some fresh air while you eat. The whole experience felt so authentic and high-quality. I am already looking forward to my next visit!
