Late is always better than never, and I can assure you that you WILL NOT be disappointed in choosing Drop & Son's. Completed this project in fall 2023. Three sides of the house were intruded upon by landscaping in my yard and my neighbor's. The crews did an amazing job and knocked out this project in less than 3 week (rain delays included!!!). They were on time each morning, cleaned up each day, very little disruption to both me and my neighbors, professional, friendly, asked questions when about my preferences instead of making assumptions, stayed on task, kept me informed, and did an amazing job transforming my horribly uneven and unusable backyard into a space that my family can now enjoy. Daniel and his entire crew and subcontractors were reliable, fair, honest, helped me to understand my options, made cost-saving suggestions, and guided me EVERY step of the way. They were actually done when we realized the other side of the house needed to be fixed, so we added the new concrete paved walkway and fence. That work turned out as great as the backyard. The costs were reasonable, the work was amazing, and the service did not disappoint. They also gave me a referral for the patio cover company, and coordinated then concrete installation with the patio cover prep needs and installation. The billing was very detailed, so I was clear about all the costs and work to be performed. I could not have asked for better; excellent communication, high quality service, materials, and workmanship!!!

My wife and I, along with my neighbor, hired Paul to build a 66ft block wall along the property line. Paul was nothing but professional and patient, especially with my neighbor who definitely had a lot more questions than I did. Paul gave me his cell phone and would text me photos of the job, photos of the permits, inspections, etc. I knew exactly where we were in the job at all times. Paul and his team also built some beautiful gates to go along with my new block wall. He and his son Daniel are great and I recommend them. Paul holds multiple licenses and is insured. I checked.

    Amazing staircase railing

I had Josh and his crew install a staircase railing at my house. They did an amazing job at a very competitive price! Josh kept me in the loop and would text me pictures of the railing throughout the duration of the project. He gave me heads ups on when his crew planned to come work, and they always showed up on time. I can't say enough good things about this corporation and the work they do. I will definitely use Drop & Son's Construction in my future projects and recommend them to my friends and family!

Paul from Drop and sons construction came to the rescue after fire damage to my house from an electrical fire. He was very helpful with the recommendations of how to deal with the insurance agency and getting over the troubles that they gave my wife and I about our claim! Paul was able to get us temporary power within a matter of hours, and had an estimate of repairs within 48 hours to turn into the insurance company to begin the steps to be approved to start repairing the electrical fire damage. Not only did the repairs get completed but the end result was better then pre-fire conditions Not only does Paul's crew have respect for my property and cleanliness but his subcontractors are also very professional and do great work... so great that the Rancho Cucamonga inspector passed us the first time, every step of the way!!! Paul was more than happy to communicate with me via tex due to my busy schedule. Paul kept me updated along every step of the way. I appreciate their professionalism and will be calling in the future for additional services. Thanks again Paul and crew

Drop & Son's worked a miracle on my master bedroom. Made my old, ugly bedroom into a beautiful master bedroom suite that I don't mind being quarantined in! Love the smooth walls and ceiling, the roomy walk in closet, and overall excellent workmanship provided by Paul and his guys. I can't wait to use them to finish the rest of my house! I highly recommend Drop & Son's!

Drop and Sons did a backyard pool and outdoor living remodel for us. It was a complex project that involved a new patio cover, hardscaping, a pool and spa, a cabana attached to the pool with a swim up bar, and a bbq island. We obtained several bids for this project. What tipped the scales for us going with Drop and Sons was the owner Paul Drop. He answered all of our questions not only during our initial meeting but when we had follow up questions after. He was by far the most responsive of the contractors we obtained bids from. This wasn't just an act to get our business. Throughout the project he was always available. His communication skills are excellent. At no point did we not know what the status of our project was. The quality of the finished product is simply fantastic. Paul and his crew are amazing. They are professional, courteous, and friendly. All subcontractors that were used did excellent work. You could tell that they work with Drop and Sons on a regular basis (they're basically surrogate employees of Drop and Sons). Any kind of construction in or around your home is stressful. Drop and Sons made this process as seamless as possible. We could not be happier with the results and look forward to years of making awesome memories in our beautiful back yard. Everyone has heard nightmare stories about dealing with contractors. We're grateful that we found a great, honest contractor who takes his work very seriously. Paul treats your house like it is his and it shows in the finished product! We can't recommend Drop and Sons enough.

Our old pool was cracked, discolored, and pretty much disgusting. That is, until I met Paul Drop. I heard about him through a friend who had hired Drop and Sons in the past, and I thought I'd check him out. I decided to hire him as well, and I'm glad I did because now I have a newly remodeled pool that really allows me to enjoy my backyard again. Now I have a salt water pool with a nice and unique interior. He also raised a portion of the pool and installed an umbrella in this area so that my lady and I can sit down and relax our feet in the water and maybe doze off. Great stuff.

Drop and Sons did a great job on our front concrete driveway, backyard pool, outdoor kitchen, and patio. I would recommend him to anyone. Thing I really like about Paul is that he will not sell you short on the job. He pays attention to detail and puts his heart into it. He builds it to code and so that it will last more than a lifetime. There was never a shortcut.

However, when I first met Mr. Lee and started discussing the project, I just knew that he was the one to hire due to his confidence and expertise in his field. I felt a strong sense that he wasn't out to get me, but rather to honestly help me and rebuild the wall with budget in mind. I chose Lee's over two other previous bids, and I am very glad I did. On day one of the demolition phase, foreman Augustine and his awesome crew just blew my mind at how efficient, precise and hard working they were. Needless to say, I was extremely impressed and felt at ease, knowing that I was definitely in good hands. Within a week, I had a beautiful brand new retaining wall built better than ever. Equally impressive was Joyce at the office making sure I was never left hanging with questions or concerns. All my queries were handled in a timely manner. For anyone looking for concrete/brick contractor, I highly recommend Lee's Concrete.

This was my very first time hiring anybody to do any sort of landscaping work. I was ignorant going…read moreinto it so I had to lean heavily into the landscapers expertise on what would be best for what I wanted to achieve. After getting a few quotes, I chose Lee's Concrete because he impressed me the most with the ideas he presented, not being pushy or sales-y, while also staying competitive price wise. He is also officially licensed for concrete. The project started around May 2025, and completed towards the end of July 2025. It consisted of concrete pouring, artificial turf installation, irrigation routing and laying out gravel/river rocks in planting areas. Also, a 2D layout diagram was provided for me to submit to HOA for approval. Below is a list of critiques ranked starting with my biggest letdowns: #1) WEEDS. Not via the concrete, but the artificial turf that was laid out. Lee offered artificial turf installs during my contractor search. My main reason for getting artificial turf was to have little-to-no maintenance. But, mines constantly has weeds growing out of the edges due the gap in the ends not being sealed. My next door neighbor had artificial turf installed by another landscaper and never has any weeds growing out of the edges ever. They had theirs installed after mine. Maybe it was my fault for not communicating that need initially. But at the same time, I thought having artificial turf laid out and it preventing weed growth on the edges would be a given. #2) Blotchy concrete coloring on front yard. My backyard's concrete coloring was pretty consistent and I was very happy with how it turned out. But my front yard was very blotchy and inconsistent. I was told that this is normal and will take about a year to cure and to give it time. Another reason was for differing "pH levels" for the area where the concrete was laid. Well... a year has passed and it has kind of improved here and there, but not so much in other parts. So, I'm a little hesitant to believe it that is actually the reason. It doesn't make sense to me that all the concrete laid out in my entire neighborhood doesn't look as bad as how it looks on my driveway. Structurally, it's fine. But it is a bit of an eye-sore looking at it every time I'm in my front yard. #3) I felt like I spent more time than I needed to checking for imperfections. A main one was my vinyl fence and cinder block wall getting dirty from the concrete pours. Another big one was the cinder block retaining wall in my backyard not being symmetrical on the edges. I had to call it out a few times to even get it fixed. Once it was finally fixed, my vinyl fence had residue from the cinderblock wall fix. By that time, I had gotten fatigue from having to constantly call out imperfections and let that one go. #4) You don't really know when the landscapers will come out to do the work. If I remember correctly, they would come out most weekdays. But, you wouldn't know if they would show up the next day or not. Not too big of a deal honestly. I'm more picky about this because I like to keep the side gate to my backyard locked and not knowing when to unlock it in the morning was just a tiny annoyance. I ended up just unlocking it first thing in the morning and locking it in the evening every weekday. Overall, I'd rate the project a 3 or 3.5 out of 5 - which I think is a very fair assessment. I'm relatively happy how it looks at the end. But there were a few bumps along the way which is why I cannot give a 5 out of 5. It pains me to write the above critiques and not be able to give the highest rating because Lee and the rest of his team were all very nice people. But there definitely could've have been improvements for the entire project.

This maybe a long read but it's 100% non-solicited review of a fantastic contractor. I recently was introduced to Big Johnson's Concrete and Pumping through my pool contractor. We needed to get our driveway replaced. Kevin came in and bid the job and provided a very reasonable and respectable quote which included the driveway approach/apron. In my city, public works scrutinizes the contractors for approach work thankfully. The other competing contractors on my job would not take not the approach work for either not possessing the proper bond or expertise. Kevin worked with the city and our HOA to get on board. The work came out so well the Public Works department provides Big Johnson's as a referral for other residents looking to pull an approach permit/plan. The driveway worked out so well I contacted Kevin two months later to tackle the hardscape work for my front yard landscape/hardscape project. He just finished up a fantastic wash finish expanded front porch and walkways. I couldn't be happier. His crew is fast and work well together. The guys putting down the forms know what they're doing getting proper grades and pitches set for water sheeting. The finishers are top notch and have a great attention to detail. All led by Kevin who is in the trenches with his team getting dirty. He leaves your property clean even picking up every nail he pulls from forms when breaking down. He always answers the phone when I've called with questions or asking for clarification and asked me to reach out now after the job anytime should I need help or questions about his work. Trust me, if you need a honest and hardworking team for any size concrete job; Kevin is the perfect choice.
