Do not go here. They said I had to pay in advance so they could order a new back plate for my iPhone. It arrived in a week and after two hours of waiting. they told me it was the wrong part number and they needed to order the correct one and wait another week so I said cancel the order and credit me back. They agreed to do that but never did and I ended up having to have Visa stop payment to them. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! After getting a screen replaced here, with a substandard part, I brought it into an Apple store and was told by the Apple Representative that my computer has been 'lifted for parts.' My key pad was taken and replaced with a cheap aftermarket part and my display was also no longer retina display and the battery had also been replaced as well. I was never 'allowed to speak to the manager' - there is none. Not only did Drop, Smash Fix, take my computer parts and replace them with aftermarket garbage, but I paid them about $500 to do all this and then had to pay Apple to repair as well. I have never dealt with such a terrible and dishonest business in my life - I will be reporting this business to Better Bureau Business as well. Please be advised to NOT bring your devices here! So I went in to get my girlfriend's phone repaired because I cracked her screen on accident. When they replaced it the screens brightness was broken. I went back again to redo it and still wouldn't work. They offered me a refund or a phone replacement but never did either. I called them and went in multiple times over months and months and have finally given up on getting a refund. My keyboard doesnt perform properly, and it affects my writing . Our phones are like another limb to most of us and when something isn't working it can be problematic. I went to this business to have the screen repaired on my phone. Part of my motivation in going there was the 15% off coupon on yelp. The picture is below. This location has done nothing to remove or modify the coupon. The coupon is still being actively offered. When I got there, however, they said they would not honor it because of the coronavirus. That is their prerogative, but they need to take the coupon off yelp. They can't leave the coupon on the website, and use it to induce people to come in, and then tell them they are not going to honor the coupon. read more

Shattered my iPhone 11 screen after it flew off the roof of my car on the freeway. Came into DSF right after they opened on a Friday Morning and Sal was there to greet me with a smile :) told me it would be 30 minutes so I walked to Starbucks and came back a half hour later and my phone was good as new. Came back again for my MacBook Pro which got liquid damage on it. It wouldnt turn on and I thought it was dead. VLAD came to the rescue and was amazing. I originally posted this from my rarely-used business account in January 2019, so my review did not show on DSF's page: I have been having trouble with my iPhone battery running down quickly, so took it to DSF to get a new battery. Caleb did the diagnostics and told me that it was a software problem running the battery down, and that there was actually nothing wrong with the battery. He suggested that I go to the Apple store and have them run a software analysis. Caleb could have just given me a new battery and sent me on my way, and I never would have known the difference, but instead he chose to be honest. Do not bring your phone here. I brought an iPhone 12 pro Max for a simple screen repair, dropped it off and waited for them to call me to let me know it was done. About an hour later I received a call letting me know they couldn't repair it that day because they needed to order the screen. I told them I'd come pick up the phone because my boss was taking a flight at 9am the next day and needed the phone. When I arrived at the location the employee (a kid no older than 17) said the phone was completely unusable because when he tried to remove the screen he SEVERED/CUT the cords that enable the phone to use Face ID, ear speaker, FaceTime, and the TrueDepth Camera. Because the cords were cut he also couldn't just put the screen back on either. So my boss, the CEO of a multi-million dollar company and who is constantly traveling, would not have a phone. I asked to speak to a manager and the employee refused to get in contact with anyone. Not only did he lie to me over the phone by saying he "just needed to order a screen", but also refused to help me by putting me in touch with someone who could. After insisting multiple times to speak with his manager he finally relented, I waited for over an hour to speak to someone. Finally Karl called me back and agreed to send an email acknowledging the mistake and that DropSmashFix would pay to get the phone repaired by Apple. He sent the email on October 26th, 2022 and I got the iPhone repaired on October 28th, 2022 and sent the repair receipt totaling $541.58. I have continually followed up with Karl since and have not gotten reimbursed to this day. They will not put me in touch with the owner of the store. read more

I was casually down the street shopping and noticed this little shop. I had cracked my IPhone 6s 2 weeks ago and have been trying to get it fixed at Apple but it was such an inconvenience with them. Every appointment I made ended up telling me I had to leave my phone over night and since I need it for work that didn't work out. So I randomly saw this little shop, looked up the Yelp reviews and thought why not. I walked in for a price quote, the gentleman was super nice and told me he could have it done in 45 minutes. I said lets do it as I'm going on a trip and don't wanna risk my phone getting worst. A coworker of mine had got his screen replaced elsewhere and I remember the color of his screen just not looking as bright as the original. I got mines back literally within the 45 minutes and it looks absolutely brand new!! I even had him instal a temper glass for me and I can't complain. I paid $120 for my iPhone 6s screen + temper glass. Which was still less than what Apple quoted me for without a temper glass. 10/10 would definitely recommend. While entering their storefront is not currently allowed due to COVID-19 precautions, it was a breeze getting my problem cared for. Easy parking on the curb, just ring the doorbell, stand at the red marker, technician comes to greet you at a safe, masked distance.
