My 5C screen broke pretty badly after I dropped it. A work colleague suggested DropSmashFix - I was so impressed with how quickly they were able to fix my screen. I dropped it off, went to Walgreens (down the street) to pick up some stuff, and came back and my phone was ready. I called feeling so frustrated because my HTC M8 Windows phone was locked with the narrator on and I could not access the settings to disable it. I spoke with Edward the tech guy, explained my situation and said to come by. He was so helpful and patient as well as walking me through the settings on my phone, the best news is that he resolved the issue with my phone and was able to unlock and turn off that annoying narrator!! I placed my iPhone 6 on top of my car while loading packages and drove off. When I later retrieved my phone, it was not the least bit operational. EVERYONE, including my friends who work in IT said the only solution was to purchase a new phone. Anohter friend recommended Drop, Smash, Fix. I took it to them and they said without hesitation that they could fix it within an hour which they did. It's as good as new. Only cost me $152 which is what I paid to have just the cracked glass replaced last time I dropped it. I can't recommend these guys highly enough. They deserve 10 stars!!!!!!!! read more

Took about four days and $250 to repair my gs3. The repair lasted about 3 days. Apparently it was my fault. Another $250 and they ordered the wrong screen replacement. Another 4 days and light leaking round the full circumference of the phone. The repair lasted 24 hours. The 90 day guarantee is apparently a bait and switch type deal. My advice? Bite the bullet and buy a new phone. You'll save money. One with a metal housing. The Ballistic case can't protect the delicate Samsung and DSF can't fix it. read more

My phone has never had more problems since I've visited Drop, Smash, Fix. My phone was cracked and I needed a new lcd plate for my iPhone 6. My phone cracked within 48 hours from no severe drop. My microphone and home button only work occasionally. Lastly, my phone turns into a black screen at least once a day. I would completely avoid this company at all costs. Just had my broken glass iphone repaired by Will there tech. and need i say he did a perfect job fixing it... Now here is the good part he holds the world record for fastest fix of a broken iphone screen, lol anyways he fixed mine in 15 minutes!! Now thats what i call great service... There price is very reasonable to it cost me less then i payed at a Kiosk in the mall with my last broken screen... the owner Victor whoe is a great guy owns both the Moto club which may i add they do a great job as well servicing my Ducatis... and the DSF place next door, they got my vote! read more

STAY AWAY from Drop Smash Fix!! I recently used their services to fix a small crack in my iphone 6 screen. I was charged close to $200 to make this fix. The screen seemed fine when I left the store, but quickly came unglued a few days later and was becoming detached at the top of the device. It was very clear the new screen that was installed was not done adequately. I took the phone back into the store to have this error fixed and I was told that I would be charged an additional fee of $180.00 to fix the screen even though It was an error on their part. To add insult to injury the gentleman helping me at the front desk was rude and told me to email a general email inbox and explain my situation. This is not what you want to hear two hours before heading to the airport. He finally came around when he realized it was an error on their part, but it ended up costing me extra time and frustration. The phone was "fixed" for a second time and I left for a business trip that night. The first day of my trip the screen became detached again and the camera function did not work. I had to buy a brand new phone at Apple because my phone had been "fixed" by a third party. The whole experience cost me way too time, money, and frustration. Had I known it was going to be such a hassle using them, I would have purchased a brand new device from the get go. I emailed the general inbox explaining this entire situation to a manager of Drop Smash Fix and got no response. No shocker there. This place is a total bait and switch. read more

Terrible customer service. First off, I called and they said it takes 30 mins to change the screen. Great, I can run an errand and be back without losing use of my phone which still works fine and which is a lifeline for me with kids and work and other responsibilities (like most people). So, I go in at 4pm and he says he can't do it for me at all tonight because he has too many devices he's already working on. That was never discussed as a possibility by phone and totally should have been since I asked if I could just walk in anytime and he said no problem the day before this. Then I said, ok so can I make an appt for tomorrow and he says it's a walk-in basis only. I asked him "how will I ever know if I will be able to get my phone fixed that day or not" and he said "you won't". So, basically, it's like going to a communist grocery store. You're not sure if they're actually going to have food when you get there. Crapshooting is fun in Vegas but not as a business model in a customer service industry, especially when the guy listed down the street charges $18 less than these guys and comes to your house to change the screen. read more

They're really nice and super quick (less than an hour to fix a cracked screen). I thought the price was fair at $65. My problem, however, is that after they replaced the screen, I took it home and realized that the LCD was giving me issues that it had not before. It was turning completely black or white or flashing between the two. I brought it back, and it was taken care of again and within an hour. He even apologized for the inconvenience. But the second time I brought it home, I turned it on and realized that it said "No Service" and upon looking into the situation online, I realized that it was probably not put back together correctly. Of course, I realized this right before close, and I now have to wait until tomorrow to get that resolved. I will definitely turn the phone on in front of him tomorrow and make him show me that all of the features are correctly working before I leave. Overall, I am not satisfied with the quality of work. read more

Brought in an iPhone for repair. Did not know what was wrong with it other than the display was malfunctioning. Was told repair would take a few hours; it was 3:15 pm and I could get it later that night. Didn't hear anything else that day so called next morning to find out status. Was told, "we fixed the display but there was water damage so the phone might not work." Why didn't I get a call about the water damage before the display was replaced? "I don't know, you brought the phone in at 7:30 pm and a different tech worked on it." I tell the guy I'm looking at the receipt in my hand with 3:18 pm stamped on it. "Oh, yeah, well, I didn't work on it." I tell the guy fixing the display when the phone won't work is like fixing a flat on a car with a blown transmission. "Yeah, I guess. Want me to put the old display back so I don't charge you anything?" Yes, please. I try not to waste people's time and don't appreciate it when they waste mine. read more

These guys are awesome! I am a frequent flyer here (have had my phone screen replaced a handful of times, just had the camera replaced as well, don't judge my clumsiness). Every time I've gone in they are super friendly and helpful and take care of my phone issues for way less than I've expected to pay and in way less time (the camera replacement took like, 4 minutes tops- v. impressed). I absolutely abhor dealing with all things tech and the guys at DropSmashFix always make it super painless and easy. Also, not going to go into gory and boring details about it but I had week-long issues activating a new phone during which time muuuultiple Verizon employees AND Apple employees told me it was basically impossible to use the new phone, and Rafael at DropSmashFix showed me how to do it in like 3 minutes (probably should have started there, since I had already given up on the new phone and taken my old one in to be fixed, but he still showed me so I can do it myself next time). Also, they cleaned my camera lens for free! But apparently I'd let it get so dirty that the dirt was all the way down inside the camera, which is why I had it replaced (for only $50, too). Was lucky to pick DMF after my iphone 6 had a small encounter with the ocean down the street. I've now learned that even if your phone seems to be working after it comes in contact with water, you still need to power it down and bring it to a professional right away who can properly clean and dry the device (also rice is just an urban legend). After a few hours my phone began shorting out with the ear piece not working and then eventually the LCD screen. I immediately brought it to DMF and Rafael the technician could not have been more helpful. When I don't know all the ins & out of a situation (especially a situation that can be costly) I like to understand what kind of work needs to be done, why its needs to be done, what are the chances of being fixed and how much it will ultimately cost (the same sort of situation when you need to get your car fixed), so you feel that at best you not just throwing any more money down the drain on a lost cause, or being taken advantage of. Rafeal spent a great deal of time with me and was very communicative, honest, knowledgeable and ultimately was able to salvage my phone in under 24 hours.
