Apple wanted to charge me $549 to replace the back glass on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I looked up the how to video and it's absurdly complicated and requires tools I don't have. In the middle of the day I noticed even though I had just charged my phone after less than an hour my phone was down to 20%. I realized that since my phone is an iPhone 8 and is from 2018/19, the battery was totally degraded. I called around a few places and some were closed early and others were about $15-$20 more. This place was also right by where I lived. I liked that they are open late, have a small parking lot, I was out in a few minutes, and service was friendly and nice! I called ahead and spoke with Andres and he also helped me when I showed up. Other places were saying it would take 45 min and Andres said it would take 20 min, but I really think I was only there for 10 min. Would def come back here for another battery replacement or any other issues. :) This is the first time I have ever had my phone fixed as I am very careful, but I hate getting a new phone. My iPhone 13 max Pro lens from one of the back cameras had cracked and I needed it to be replaced called the iPhone doctor 911 on a Sunday around 11:45. They were open until 2pm. Headed over to get my phone fixed. The tech confirmed that only theens needed to be replaced and no dge to the actual camera. The work was completed within 30 minutes. went to one errand by the time I came back the work was done. Writing this from my laptop as my phone screen completely stopped responding to my touch. I can't even swipe to shut it down in an attempt to troubleshoot. Obviously, this is either due to a subpar screen and/or subpar installation. Not only do I rely on my phone for my work and business, but I'm extra pissed off that they're not open tomorrow July the 12th or the 13th to correct their mistake, as per their updated hours.
