just needed a simple cleaning. They take my insurance. Already have an established dentist out of area. Told them I could get x rays for them if needed. Said it was mandatory to get all new x rays and exam before a cleaning to bill my insurance. Unethical. Would not recommend. Literally had that stuff just done my regular dentist. Ivy is the dental hygienist equivalent of a spa therapist, therapist-therapist, and professional tooth whisperer all rolled into one. This is a very high quality dental practice with excellent service starting from the front desk and through all phases of the patient encounter. Ivy, my hygienist, was extremely skilled and attentive. He was already prepared for my exam before I got to the room. He reviewed my dental history thoroughly and took care to listen to any concerns or problem areas. Dr Vik is very professional and warm. I stopped going because they are egregious with extra fees whenever they get a chance. They tried to charge me a cancellation fee for rescheduling within 24 hrs even though I scheduled the afternoon before and I called the morning of my appointment. Dr. Vik and my hygienist Karen were really nice and my cleaning felt thorough. I would not recommend for Invisalign however as I received 3 quotes from other practices and this was the highest by almost $2,000 more than the others. Lastly, think it's quite cheap to charge patients a $12 fee for sanitizing equipment. It's a small cost but just rubbed me the wrong way and felt like I was being nickel and dimed. read more

I was wildly, embarrassingly overdue for a cleaning, but there was no judgment at all and every possible approach was taken to make sure I was comfortable.
