You wouldn't think that you'd stumble upon a quaint, delicious wine tasting room in downtown Renton, would you... ? Well think differently my friend! I have been a Drum Roll fan for YEARS now and was so excited to watch their tasting room come to life. My first encounter with them was at the Issaquah Wine Walk like 6-8 years ago (it's hard to pinpoint) and Matt, one of the co-owners, was so personable and nice. The added bonus was that the wine was delicious. So when I discovered they were opening a tasting room in Renton, I was so ecstatic. They've been open for a year or two now and they are flourishing! The space is creatively curated and speaks to the owners and their family so well. It's kid-friendly and pup-friendly which makes this really a very welcoming spot in the downtown area. They don't carry food, but they do have snacks. But more importantly, they have delicious wine (duh). Over the years, my favorite has stayed constant - their white blend! They've never made a wine I haven't liked, but their white blend is a guaranteed classic that I can crack open for myself, or at family dinners, and know it's going to be a hit. Sundee and Matt (the power duo behind the Drum Roll brand) are truly wonderful, welcoming humans and this is such a bright piece of Renton. Went here to celebrate my 40th and it was FABULOUS. The owners were out of town so a member stepped up to be there and she did a great job of accommodating our group. The wine options were broad enough to accommodate our group's diverse palates. I enjoyed the pink and sparkling options most. The venue was great allowing us to bring in food as food options are limited. Many of the ladies can't wait to go back!!! read more

My friends and I love this wine bar! We always order a bubbly white and still white, but I am certain that no matter what wine is ordered, the selection will be delicious. Management is great and very attentive. They don't even mind when we bring a smattering of food to graze on and laugh a little too loud. Went two weeks ago! Great place in downtown Renton!! They had great wines and the place was really nice and clean. Really great place to relax and enjoy the day. The guy there was really helpful and nice. They don't have any food but they do have little snack bowls in case you need something to munch on and they have a few places around them too. Spent a lovely Sunday afternoon/early evening here! The proprietors, Matt and Sundee, were both extremely personable, welcoming and helpful. I asked for a tasting flight recommendation and they did not disappoint! Matt started me with their delicious, citrusy, Living Wine, followed by their Drum Roll White, then their Drum Roll Red, finished by their Syrah! All very delicious!
