Food: Perfectly cooked. Beautiful brunch buffet with very fresh selections. Would have preferred a few more traditional entree selections. Coffee wasn't very good but it's hard to serve fresh brewed coffee on days when it's so busy. Very cute and tasty desserts. Mimosas were fresh and tasty. Atmosphere: Very clean, warm, traditional New England charm. Extremely comfortable seating. Restrooms were equally clean and well kept. Value: Brunch was $300 for the two of us which included a 20% gratuity. You can't really complain about the cost when you know what you're paying beforehand. Paying staff to work Easter Sunday is expensive. Sourcing local ingredients is expensive. Using fresh ingredients is expensive. We view this experience as a one off. Glad we went but at this price it's hard to justify going back again, for Easter anyway. (Regular brunch is far less expensive.) Overall: Couldn't have been much better to be honest. But, wow, pricey for what are essentially breakfast foods.

Going in today all I got was a cheese quesadilla and was thoroughly disappointed. I was served a sandwich wrap with cheddar cheese pooled at the center of it. I wasn't even able to finish more than one slice before I had to be done it tasted so bad. Being such a simple food and on the menu I figured they would have had the correct ingredients to make this but unfortunately that was not the case.

Lorraine Campground at Harold Parker State Forest is one of the best camping locations in Mass.,…read moreespecially if you want to be in the woods and yet be close to civilization. The ~4000 acre forest has a dedicated entrance to the campground with several rangers assigned to it. The sites can be extremely spacious and isolated or be smaller and more social. It really is your choice. Safe swimming, fishing, bike riding, and hiking are abundant. The educational programs are posted, including weekly hikes, bike rides, and fishing lessons (they provide everything for novices). They even have a bonfire on Sat. nights during the camping season. The bathrooms are cleaned daily and are typically in excellent condition, including free showers and hot water. A donation is requested for the mandatory kiln-dried firewood ($5/bundle or $10/3 bundles). All sites have potable water. No sites have electricity. Alcohol is prohibited (and this is posted prominently). People who get caught drinking (typically because they are obnoxious) are asked to leave immediately. The state police barracks is just down the road, so help is nearby if others get rowdy. It is amazing to really be in the woods so close to Boston. Booking a site in advance online is highly recommended; walk-ins/drive-ups are permitted if there is space available. The fees are extremely reasonable ($12/night).

Standard breakfast fare of eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc but it is good. Much cheaper than other places. There's other events too such as the hoagie sale on Superbowl Sunday and barbecued chicken.
