Worst service I've experienced from a shop. Extremely short and rude with my inspection and damaged my tint in the process.

Everyone here and including the gas attendant when I pulled in for gas when I legit just had my battery light appear who automatically while I was very anxious grabbed one of the mechanics on site to look at my car and this was close to 5pm to add... from the start he was amazing, honest, and very trustworthy! I am truly grateful and happy with my service and how I was treated! Also, a fast turnaround with my repairs as well. I really recommend them as even when I called them 2x for an update was so courteous...5 stars again! If it helps I had the following work done-replace alternator, pulley, tensioner and belt. For years Doherty's handled the rubbish and recycling collection for our business (a church). When we discovered a billing discrepancy a fews years ago, our bookkeeper's calls and emails to the owner went unanswered. After a few months, we gave up and chose another company, then asked Doherty's to reimburse us a prorated portion of our annual recycling fee and deposits on our bins. That was now 13 months ago, and the owner still has not responded to us - we have left messages at the office a dozen times, stopped by the office before and after COVID, sent two letters by mail, dozens of emails - she just hasn't had the courtesy to respond to us. It's not a lot of money, but we were long-time customers who believed in supporting a community business, and it's frustrating to be flatly ignored so rudely. read more

Don't get your car repaired here. The owner Dennis is cool but his mechanics are rude. I had a front end alignment done and afterwards jt was worse then before the repair. They overcharge and are careless with your vehicle. read more

By their own admission, they do know know how to fix cars. I'm serious. I said, well then I'll go somewhere else. They said, "I don't care what you do". So, I googled and YouTubed my car issue and consulted another mechanic and figured it out. Dohertys said it's probably something wrong with the make/ model of my car. Wrong. It's all over the internet this is a universal car issue, not unique to a certain brand of car. Thank God for the internet. Customer service is atrocious as well. read more

As good as a gas station will ever get in the U.S. Quick service for minor stuff such as snow tire swaps. The guys pumping gas speak English and are polite. If you have to wait you can walk about 100 yards to a coffee shop and a supermarket. read more

Cheated! WAY overpriced. I expected to pay less than $50 and was charged $115 for ~20 min. labor (no parts). That's over $300 per hour when it should be about $80/hr ($30/20min). I got a blank receipt with just the cost, no details of why it failed inspection. They also failed to tell me about warranty issues, which I found out about later, when it was too late, which costs me more $$$. They also told me it would cost about $3,000 for an exhaust system (for a Toyota Corolla), which I know is overpriced, perhaps by double. This was a very, very bad experience. read more

Do not use them as a school bus service! Today I was practically run off the road by one of their buses over the yellow line. I had my 89 year old mother in the car and she was scared to death! I just stoped my vehicle as far to the right as I could and the bus kept going pell mell above the speed limit across the double line - at around 3:10 pm - must have turned from 117 onto Lincoln Road in Weston. Interesting because a year ago another one of their buses was driving on 117 and I was in the middle of the crosswalk with two 75 pound golden retrievers and the guy went right through the crosswalk just before I got to his side of the street. I called the garage as soon as I got home and they acted like they could not figure out which bus it was - I asked them how many buses do they have driving 117 in Weston at that time and they asked me the bus #!!! I mean I was pulling back my dogs and trying to keep us all safe and they wanted a bus number? Imagine the accident your child could have had today on that bus - hitting my car head on and seriously injuring 2 people. Or maybe the kids would not have been injured if the bus hit me and my dogs, but is that a picture you want your elementary child to have in their mind? Run, don't walk away from them. I will be reporting this to the Lincoln Schools as well since they use these death vehicles for transport. read more

I went to Dohertys for the first time about three months ago. I had a broken windshield wiper and needed an oil change. Since they are right down the road from me, and I am pretty new to the area I gave them a chance. I was surprised that the garage was also a pizza place. But what ever as long as they could fix my broken windshield wiper before the next rain storm I didn't care. I waited in the upstairs service station waiting room while my car got fixed. It was nice to have a private waiting area where I could be left alone and read my latest Augusten Burroughs book. About 25 minutes later a girl came and got me, and told me my car was finished! Already! It was done and it cost me some ridiculous cheap price like 28.00. I felt like I was getting away with something while I was paying. I loved this garage already. So, yesterday my husband dropped off our suburban to be fixed. They made the appointment within a day of calling them. I wen't to pick up the truck today and they have successfully repaired the drivers side automatic window element and changed the oil, and the windshield wipers. Again at a reasonable price! I loved that we didn't have to go to the Chevy Dealer. They also have Diet Mt Dew in the cooler, which is a huge bonus for my husband. So if you need any random car service done give these guys a chance. They're awesome. And the service technicians didn't make me ever feel awkward for being a girl and not really knowing much about car stuff. read more

They were great! My cars water pump died in the driveway, they arranged the tow and the pump was replaced within 24 hrs. They are located right next to the train so I was able to get to work!! They even let me park my bicycle there so I could get home from work. Reasonably priced and really good. I had been looking for a mechanic and have found one! read more

Honest folks! I bring my car here annually for my inspection sticker and would bring my car for repairs but it is still under warranty. And I got a free sweat shirt this time. Highly recommend!
