TOLD YOU! Didn't I say in so many of my reviews, a person can get quality dry cleaning without paying $5 freaking dollars for a shirt(just an example)....in Houston! Here today! I was on a mission to prove to myself and Yelpers, WE don't have to be taken advantage of when it comes to gouging prices with Dry Cleaning or ANY service. I SAID IT DIDN'T I?! I purchased a jumper and it was wrinkled, yes I'm spoiled and wasn't about to take my time and iron the garment. I had a budget in mind and I was determined NOT to take my time and save money and iron myself hmmm and don't judge me. I didn't have to travel out of my way nor area to achieve my goal, $8 is all I was intending to pay PERIOD! I phoned about 3 Dry Cleaners and visited 1 in person until I came across Dry Cleaning Super Center! Now 4 out of 5 from Hwy 6 going towards Downtown, wanted to charge $12-$20 for the service. I-I-I was NOT! I promise, I'll take my time and do it myself before I pay those prices and besides it was brand new and only needed steaming/pressing. Let me tell y'all something, I worked my Junior and Senior year in High School in Cleaning and Pressing as an elective and it doesn't take no dorn degree meaning they pay minimum wage IF that to hire a person to laundry. Let me get off my rant and stick to the point. Dry Clean Super Center charged me under $6 just to press the garment which most Cleaners wouldn't discount for half a service. They also offer In by 9 out my 5 service AND they alter at a reasonable prices too. Go check them out! When she's (me) ready to go out, she AINT got no time to be ironing! I have always liked the way my clothing is cleaned, but I have several issues. One with the cleaners closing at 5, by the time I get off work the dry cleaners is closed. Two is I have tried calling this cleaners and you can never speak with anyone. I recently put several items in for cleaning. One of my dresses had a belt and I didn't receive it back. Again with no phone calls being answered and closing at 5:00, it's an unresolved issue now for over a week. I am really frustrated at this point because the dress can't be worn without the belt that was attached. read more

This is my local dry cleaner and compared to Houston prices, I'm impressed. I guess that's the life when you live in the 'burbs. I'm using to over paying. However, I noticed some of my husband's garments tend to cost more than they would have back in the Meyerland area. So, I guess, take that patriarchy? I'm not sure, but regardless, it's interesting to see how his Knight of Columbus assemble can sometimes cost more than some of my more expensive dresses, sweaters, etc. I'm used to sweaters and dresses being money grabbers in the dry cleaning world. While, I don't have the kind of relationship with them, I did with my favorite place back in Meyerland, they are friendly, quick, and convenient. I haven't had any issues and they even point out when an article of clothing can't be cleaned to perfection. In our case it's something my husband or the cats did. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! DONT GO HERE!! If I could give this place a negative zero I would!! The so called manager, because he doesn't even deserve that title, was incredibly rude. I dropped off a vintage gown with some beading on the top, on a Wednesday and I told it would be ready the next day by 4pm. The next day I called and was told it was ready for pick up. When I arrived it still smelled the same (it was stored in a garment bag and hadn't been worn in several years) NOT ONE STAIN HAD BEEN REMOVED OR EVEN LIGHTENED!! I complained and the receptionist agreed and offered to have it re-cleaned. So the next day I called and asked if it had been cleaned as promised. I was told by the receptionist that it wasn't and I would have to speak with the manager when he returned in an hour. Instead of being concerned that one of his customers was clearly upset and dissatisfied with their services the manager had the biggest attitude as if I were to blame that the dress and not been cleaned properly. I understand that they aren't miracle workers and there are some things that are outside their expertise but communication and great customer service goes a long way, but here it hadn't gotten past the front door. When I got home and viewed the gown closely there were not only stains that weren't even attempted to be treated but a 2 in hole in the gown! I could not believe what I was seeing! I immediately when back to the shop and showed them the hole and they said to me you could have put that hole there. Why the hell would someone do something so stupid and ridiculous by ruining and very expensive vintage gown! That's insane! Take this long winded review as a warning to those who may have been considering this place. If you have clothing you cannot replace I WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT TAKE MY GARMENTS HERE EVER!! read more

Don't be deceived by the perceived friendliness of the manager compared to the other employees. The others are friendly, warm, and kind. One family member with me during pick up inquired about the pleasant smell inside, and a female employee went inside their office and pulled out incense and allowed the family member to keep a single stick and told the member to ask the manager more information since he buys them. He came inside, and my family member asked about them, and he immediately looked uncomfortable disclosing any details and said he doesn't know anything since he said it was gifted. Fine, we took his response at face value, and the family member requested if she may keep it. The family member mentioned how the female employee provided it to her. He begrudgingly agreed to let us have it. So far, everything seemed fine. We came for alteration pick up for some pants. They were done well. This is the only reason why this review gets 2 out of 5 instead of 1 out of 5. We were on our way home when the manager calls me and blatantly accuses my family member of going inside the office and taking the single piece of incense, and he says he has camera footage. He claims this is "not right". It'd be understandable if my family member went inside without permission and took it. However, he blatantly omits that the female employee working there provided it and mentioned those details. I trust my family member since I could hear the conversation between the employee and her while I was trying on my altered pants. Calling me, your customer, about something petty regarding this after you've provided your permission for my family member to keep it is also "not right." This accusatory response to us even though we asked permission and mentioned how your own employee gave us details on something insignificant as a pleasant smell shows your true colors. If you were bothered by it, you should have mentioned it to us before we left, at the moment we asked permission. Saying you have camera footage as a defense does not prove anything, as you omit your employee's actions, including your own. I can only imagine how you treat your employees when customers aren't inside. For current and future customers, just be careful about the manager's answers to your questions. He seems untrustworthy, which could be a problem especially when you may have an issue regarding your clothes. read more

I did come to realize that I had to specify, NO CREASE, in any pant that I didn't want it in because they crease everything! No big deal, I learn quickly. I have also had some alterations done here like a simple hem and some jeans shortened that came out great. They have a drive-thru window...actually drive-thru door so you can drop off or pick up and they even put it in the car for you. Absolute worst dry cleaning place ever. They try to get away by just washing your clothes, apparently oblivious to the fact that the washing machine ruins some clothes and makes them frail. My husband has been going here for awhile for his work shirts and didn't have any issues, but I took my favorite ivory J. Crew sweater and when I got home and took it out of the plastic, I discovered it was covered in blue stains. I was heartbroken and have been using spray and wash and washing it multiple times trying to get out the stains. I'm so disappointed and will not be returning. I tried this place out due to their location as well as other reviews on here. I needed to get 6 pieces cleaned, that are sample garments of things I've sewn, meaning they don't need to be worn, I just needed them to be clean and look presentable. I did mention to the staff when I dropped them off, that some of the garments were knit fabrics and a bit more delicate and would it be an issue to clean them. I even pointed out which garments specifically I thought there might be an issue with. I was assured it wouldn't be an issue and that they could clean them. When I went to pick them up, I was informed that 2 of the garments weren't cleaned because they were worried about damaging the fabric (as I suspected). I asked why I wasn't called to check with, rather than them just not cleaning my garments altogether, and they couldn't give me a straight answer. I told them to go ahead and clean them, and it was ok if it got damaged some However, this did really irritate me as I wasted my time and gas driving back twice. I don't understand why they wouldn't have just called me ahead of time to discuss this issue so this situation could have been avoided. As far as the quality of the cleaning, I was satisfied, however, I am giving them 2 stars because I really think they need to improve their customer service. Also, just a heads up, they do make you pay ahead of time when you drop your garments off. read more

By far the worst cleaners I have ever done business with. I recently just moved to the area and was pleased to know I had a cleaners right around the corner from my home. That pleased feeling quickly changed. I've taken my work pants to this location 3 times and all 3 times they have not done what I have asked them to do. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that perhaps they were just overly busy and forgot my orders (which were only to put creases in the pants), but then I started taking my shirts there as well and the same thing happened when I told them no starch and received the shirts back stiff as a board. I would specifically ask them to do one thing and in return the complete opposite was done. I've never been to a cleaners where I have had these many problems. It's a shame since they're so close to my home, but I rather just drive a little further and get my clothes done how I need them then deal with this company.
