***Update: My issue was addressed promptly by a call from management letting me know the items had been found after a few questions and texted photo. Thank you Tracy for your caring approach. She was kind with explanation and resolution.*** A few days ago, I dropped off a pair of slacks and couple of dress shirts for dry cleaning. When I stopped to drop off those clothes, I was the only customer in line right after another one was just leaving. But right after the worker was about to take my clothes, another customer pulled up behind my car. She went straight to that customer to provide her with her pick up. I figured since it was an elderly individual, that would be understandable. After that hand off, she began looking up my information in the system to take my drop off. But she was taking a while finding my information. Soon, another customer came. She took care of that next customer before getting back to me. Finally, she found my information - entered incorrectly with wrong spelling. She gave me my ticket with a bar code. So, I jetted off assuming my dry cleaning would be ready for pick up within a few days. Today, my son picking up the dry cleaning was told that only one garment was in the order. It's the pair of slacks. The shirts cannot be traced. Nothing. Brand new shirts for work are gone in their system. I don't know if the person who was juggling multiple pickups/drop-offs made a mix-up of mistake or whether those shirts were lost during another process. But it's a total loss. read more

I've lost too many belts at Tide Cleaners to even count, but this last experience was the final straw for me. When I brought in clothing with belts attached, I was later told -- to my face -- that I "didn't bring in a belt." My ticket had even been changed to say "NO BELTS." Really? Then they eventually found ONE of the belts... which confirmed I was telling the truth the entire time. I'm still missing another belt, but honestly, I'm just over it at this point. Mistakes happen. Losing items happens. But the dismissive attitude, refusal to take responsibility, and rude customer service from Tracey made the situation so much worse. They act like you're the guilty one, and nothing gets resolved unless you become relentless about it. I've officially decided I'm done using Tide Cleaners. Moving on... and still beltless. read more

Awful service. I walked in with some suits...the lady who drives the Mercedes at the front was very rude. Made no effort to even hear me out. Not even looked up from her phone. In desperation of being far behind with laundry, I dropped off clothes to be washed and folded. After requesting francrance free detergent, they had to rewash everything because the detergent smell was nauseating. After the second try, I am rewashing everything because all my whites are grey. I called these cleaners ahead, specifically to find out the cost of cleaning a thobe. The price I was given was less than $10. I dropped off the lightweight thobe and a pair of white linen pants. I picked them up a few days ago and didn't look at the charge until I saw my bank statement. I was was a total of $44.59. I called the store and was told that that was their charge for cleaning a dress. I'm totally dissatisfied and won't be going back. read more

Ripped me off. In my third time using them I dropped off 8 shirts to be laundered and gave them a 30% off coupon. Got a call almost immediately after leaving, some of the shirts had buttons that may get damaged, they needed to be dry cleaned. Ok makes sense, I signed off. When I picked up they had dry cleaned all 8, not just the three with pearl snaps, I expressed my displeasure and she said 'well I gave you a 20% off coupon'. Didn't realize it then but they had done that in place of the 30% off, not additional. So I paid 3x as much on 5 of 8 shirts and didn't get my additional 10% off from the coupon (I gave them 30% off code and they only gave me 20%). I hate being nickeled and dimed. read more

I dropped off my husband's suit and a white shirt. When I went to pick it up, it had been given to someone else. I have repeatedly asked the manager what could be done. She said I would get some sort of credit or compensation. This has been going on for a year now. No resolution, no response. Update: Tide reached out to me and we were able to come up with a resolution to the problem. It was a very professional and productive interaction. As long as this level of service is continued I will stay a customer. SAVE YOURSELF TIME, MONEY & A HEADACHE Three weeks ago I dropped off a bunch of shirts, pants and a few sport coats. When I returned the next day all was ready except my Tommy Hilfiger Sport cost. I was told to come back the next day and they zeros out the ticket for the sports coat since it was late. However, for the 4 shirts, 4 pants and 2 other sports coats I paid just about $100, which I think is really really high compared to other places I've gone. I end up going out of town and come back a week later to pick up my sports coat only to be told it's still not there. I was told the manager would call me, never received a call. I ended up going out of town again and when I return a week later I stop back by and guess what?? STILL NO SPORTS COAT! I was told they will look into it and give me a call. Well I just received that call and this is what I was told. They are claiming I already picked up the sports coat and that I must have it?!?! Then they told me I could bring back all of the clothes so they can count it out to be sure?!?! This was three weeks ago?!?! I've already worn some of the clothes and they are in a bag ready to take back to the dry cleaner and they are mixed with other clothes that weren't in my original order! The manager pretty much tells me there is nothing she can do, crazy! I then call the customer service number listed on the website. After explaining the issue to the customer service agent she tells me there is nothing she can do and that she could provide me with an email address to that franchise store?! I already spoke with them why would I want to email them? Why do you have a customer service line if they can't do anything? Is that why the service is over priced? You're having to spend payroll for people that do nothing? On top of this one of my pairs of pants came back with a stain that wasn't there when I dropped it off. There was a sticker that said "There's a stain here that we've judged too hard to removed". Ironically, I used a Tide pen and removed the stain in two seconds. The stain that I didn't even put there. Great service and excellent results. I have been going here for about three years and I don't have my shirt buttons crushed nor do I get my slacks back with multiple creases. The home pickup and delivery is a great plus. If you do go to the store location they have a great drive-thru service. I've never been to this location but was told Tide Cleaners is so awesome...Uh no. Pulled up in the drive thru as I have a baby in the car and want the convenience of a drive thru and we are in a global pandemic and would like to no have to go inside anywhere. I pulled up rolled down my window and waited was not greeted they saw me and looked at me (two different workers) no smiles, nothing I thought "hm maybe they'll just be with me in a minute" over 5 minutes passed (they were literally ignoring me and I guessed realized I wasn't going anywhere) and a lady came to the glass door and goes "are you dropping off?" I replied "yes dropping off, I've never been here before" and she scoffed and said "you need to come inside then" and walked away. I said "I'm not doing that. You could have told me that 10 minutes ago". She literally smirked at me. Absolutely ridiculous and horrible customer service. I'll take my business elsewhere. My first experience with Tide Dry Cleaners - I dropped off four dress shirts. Once "dry cleaned" - shirts were returned dirtier than when I dropped them off. One contained ink spots, one contained large oil spots, and one contained soil and water spots - none of these spots were on my shirts before taking them to Tide. All four shirts had also picked-up a foul odor while with Tide. I gave the three shirts stained by Tide back for a "redo". Days later, the shirt with the ink spots was ready and my wife brought it home. Upon inspection, the ink spots were still there, as well as I was charged another $3 for the redo. When the next two shirts were ready for pick-up, I brought back the inked shirt and asked for a second redo and a refund of the second charge on the same shirt. Also, the two other shirts still had the same spots as before. All three shirts were placed in the "redo" pile again. I eventually got back two shirts without spots, but the shirt with the ink spots still had ink (but a reduced amount). I never got a refund for the earlier redo. I've tapped out and decided this place is ridiculous. Although the Men's Warehouse Dry Cleaners may have changed their name to Tide Dry Cleaners - their service seems to be just as bad if not worst than ever! read more
