I went to Xpress Dry Cleaners and Alterations to have several garments (1 pair of shorts, 2 pairs…read moreof capri pants) altered. One of the seamstresses, initially altered the three garments and did a good job on the shorts and 1 capri pant, but the other capri was a little too tight. I went back in to have the capri pant redone and spoke to another seamstress. I showed her what needed to be redone and how I wanted them. She was pushy and dismissive. I had to go back twice to pick them up because she didn't have them ready even after promising they would be done in a day. I tried them on and they were even tighter than the first time I had them done. So, I asked for my money back from the alteration, which I did receive, but when I got the pants home, I realized that she had put a hole in the side seam when she was removing the seam to work on them because she used a razor blade instead of a seam ripper which is the proper tool. So, she had to make the side seam bigger than was measured in order to hide the hole. Now I have a pair of capri pants that I can't wear unless I can get another seamstress to correctly alter the garment and somehow repair the hole. DO NOT go to this shop for alterations, there are plenty of other places who will do a better job. Their work is sloppy and while some of the people in the shop are nice, the seamstress I dealt with isn't. I had to give it one star. If I could have given a zero, I would have.

When I called to ask how to remove the label the girl sounded so surprised that I would purchase expensive clothing and that I didn't want the label to be permanent. She told me the process of how to remove, but since it was more lengthy than I hoped I took it back to the cleaners and asked them to remove it since they were the experts. Hmmm...surprise surprise, they couldn't get it off all the way. So now, I still have the scar of some random bar code on all my pants. It looks like it would be sticky if you touched it, but it's not. They didn't empathize with me at all either.
