Not what I was going for :( Completely the wrong color. I tried growing it out, putting over the counter correction on it and finally lightening it myself. It was bad, and a huge PROJECT, that not anyone could fix! It should have taken multiple visits. Not only did she do an AMAZING color correction, but I also got a new hair style, that I absolutely LOVE! Who knew that could be the outcome? I felt rushed and like my concerns weren't really being listened to, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. Customer service is a big part of any business, and this just didn't meet expectations. I wasn't treated with much respect, and it definitely left a bad impression. I won't be coming back based on this experience.

I told her I wanted a natural brown highlight that maintained my previous color and she made me feel so beautiful by the time we were done! I don't know how she did it, but she blended my brown highlight into my natural dark black hair to compliment my skin tone perfectly. It wasn't brassy, not reddish, it is this perfect shade that looks natural and still beautiful when it grows out. I also enjoyed talking to her throughout our session! Then I text her to confirm the appointment and checked to make sure she felt comfortable with short blended styles. (not a lot of stylists do these days) and then she said that because she's never cut my hair that she couldn't get it "perfect", and immediately cancelled my appointment without another word. BUT I will NEVER go to her again. Jenn has NO RESPECT for clients time and has been so rude it's actually astonishing. Out of 5 appointments with her she's canceled on me last minute THREE times. This last time I pointed this out to her because I took off work to have this appointment before I had an event that coming weekend. I therefore planned to work Saturday and Sunday instead. She canceled 25 minutes before my appointment with no warning. Out of desperation, and her assuring me "I PICK THE TIME AND DAY" and she'd be there - I choose Sunday at 7pm and confirmed with her THREE times. She confirmed. I heard nothing from her leading up to the appointment so I figured everything was good to go. I left work an hour early to make sure that I was there by 7pm. When I pull up I see a text - no apology, nothing, at 605pm "it's Easter Sunday I can't make it tonight I can fit you in tomorrow". WHY would she agree to that appointment if Easter was a problem? Also she had 3 whole days to figure that out! And let me know!! This was also her appointment to "make it up to me". THEN SHE BLOCKED ME!! My texts were coming back green and when I called it went to voicemail so I had my boyfriend text her and it came back blue... I knew she blocked me. I have been nothing but understanding, kind and a loyal customer up until this point even though she's canceled on me multiple times leading up to this. She was also asked to leave her last salon so I think I might know why. I wouldn't go near her ever again. I've had more respectful interactions with the worst people. For now I will make super dark roots and platinum blonde hair the new TREND till I find someone else.
