Because of the pet mess it would be an additional $50.00. I was fine with that and scheduled an appointment. I was expecting to pay approximately $250.00 with taxes etc. I was shocked when they were done and handed me a bill for their service $835.00. The guy did a great job, carpets look new, however the quote was only 1/4 of the actual cost. I will watch and see if these spots bleed back through. There is supposed to be to be a 30 day guarantee (I wonder if it's really free). I called their office to let them know how unhappy I was with the quote being so far off and was told they can't see my carpet therefore additional steps may need to be done. I have never had a quote to be this far off. No real explanation and certainly no apology offered. For this reason I won't be recommending them to family and friends.

I felt like I was then marked as a bad person and to not help too much. I paid 420.00 for them to install the thermostat, and another 160.00 for a maintenance check on the furnace, I also asked them to tell me the cost of replacing the system. After a week or so the furnace didn't run on Auto and it was just blowing cold air. It was snowing and in the teens. They couldn't come out for a few days, and it would cost more money. They did provide a quote for a heat pump for a 1,000 square foot house at $20,000.00 I called Platte Heating in Yakima and they came out next day in the snow, and replaced the sequencer. When I called back as a courtesy to tell them I didn't need the appointment, Ericka told me the owner emailed me and said they weren't coming, and find another HVAC company. If you want to be ripped off and treated like crap, call Americool. Be prepared to wipe out your savings, and you may need a bank loan. They need your credit card before they will even come to your house, if you're at Desert Aire or Mattawa in their service area, be ready to pay a fortune in trip charges. If you don't give them a high rating you'll be put on the crap list, get a nasty email from the owner and appointment ignored, what a way to run a business.
