I had my dryer vent company cleaned by Adam a little more than a year ago. After awhile I texted him that the dryer was producing more lint than it was before the cleaning but he never responded. Recently I had the gas company in to check my appliances and they discovered that my dryer vent was so badly torn that it was putting lint and carbon monoxide into the air in my home. I was having issues with my dryer not drying the clothes all the way and taking a very long time. I was thinking there was a venting issue because when i disconnected the vent hose from the back of the dryer it would work fine. I made an appointment to get this checked out. Adam came out quickly to inspect what was going on. Turns out the contractor that installed the venting system for the dryer a few months prior, did not do so correctly and was causing flow issues. We happened upon the DVC Services ad the same day that our brand new dryer gave us a diagnostic code indicating the vent was 80% blocked. Adam responded promptly, set an appointment for the next day, and showed up on time. He was professional and friendly. He worked diligently to completely clear the vent, which is long, angled and runs across half the width of our house. He made sure it was cleared from both directions. There was a huge lump of lint blocking the vent line at the elbow where it bends at a 90 degree angle. It was a mess, but Adam made sure everything was cleaned up and put back together nice and neat. (He was respectful of the fact that I am a finicky neat freak with a brand new dryer.) With all that said, Adam honored the advertised price, which we also found impressive. In fact, we were impressed with his service from start to finish. We've already recommended DVC Services to several neighbors whose dryer vents were also installed in a funky manner by the builder.
