I trusted this company to come out and inspect our fridge. We were having an issue with the freezer. So they came out and charged us $210 to clean it and said that might do the trick. He said to give it 24 hours for it to get better and it actually got worse. It thawed out all our meats!!! $300 worth of groceries in the freezer! I called and I emailed and they said let us send out another tech to you... I told the lady no we're OK and she insisted if they didn't find the problem they could refund us a $200. So I said OK that's fine! That same day they had somebody come out and the guy yapped on 30 minutes about how we should call the warranty company because the compressor went bad and then it was pretty much our fault because we didn't do maintenance on it. And that they had saved us from the warranty being voided out because they cleaned it the day before Blah blah blah. What I'm upset about is why didn't they tell us this the first day they came why didn't they check the warranty date on the compressor and tell me that LG has a five-year warranty. I would've been happy to just pay the $69 visit fee instead of 210 for something that just made my freezer worse! Since they saw they had made my freezer worse they were pretty much just trying to hand me off to the warranty company and he also said if they don't cover it then you can pay us $1100 and then we can get you a compressor! I would've been fine if they would've told me a compressor from the very first time instead of making me pay $210 and then on top of that so now we need $1100 to fix the real problem! I would not trust your business to this company! Now we are out $210 plus on top of that all our frozen meat! I wish I would've looked for another quote somewhere else read more

FQ was responsive to my repair request on Saturday and was able to arrive on Sunday. Alex from FQ was on time with the given timeframe (12pm-2pm, and arrived at 2pm; very reasonable, in my opinion), professional, personable, and experienced. I didn't bother with multiple quotes because I've been without a functioning dishwasher for at least two weeks, but I imagine what I paid is common, give or take $50 (??) The repair quote definitely wasn't sticker shock, so that was all I needed to hire FQ. Alex diagnosed the problem (GE dishwasher motor pump went bad) within 10 minutes. So it is hard to know who to trust when it comes to repairing appliances that are not working. I have used them twice, the first was for a dishwasher and the technician was knowledgeable and helpful. Though I decided to decline the offered repair bc my dishwasher was a cheap one that came with our house and barely ever worked. So I got a new dishwasher instead. But then a couple weeks later my washing machine that is an about 7 years old but one that I like stopped working and called in fast quality. They usually arrive the same or the next day. Well I first thought about buying a new one but it would have cost way more to buy a lower quality washer than what I have. I submitted a project request in yelp for an ice maker repair. First Quality replied within an hour and scheduled an appointment. Once appointment was scheduled I had direct communication with the technician about date and time of arrival. Technician arrived as scheduled with full communication. After looking at refrigerator the technician advised the ice maker needed to be replaced and parts would be 5-7 days out. 3 days later I received a call to schedule the install of new ice maker. Technician arrived on time with full communication and installed new ice maker. Next day no ice has been produced, and technician arrived at 8 pm To investigate and corrected the issue. My experience with this company was a big positive even though they gave me bad news. They definitely could have charged me a lot of money for a bunch of repairs for a lemon refrigerator that I bought but they were very upfront with me that I would be better off just replacing it than pouring money into it. WOW!!! Is the one word I can use to describe Alex and Fast Quality. He came on 4th of July to fix our dryer. He showed up, diagnosed the problem, fixed the problem, cleaned up the area and was on his way. He took time to explain why it didn't work, what was the best way to fix it and how to prevent the same issue in the future, as well as how to do some self maintenance on the machine. Alex was amazing! Prompt, courteous, and very tidy. He put those disposable shoe covers on to walk through the house without even being asked to. The Customer service was great. They sent me the tech's name and a calendar reminder immediately after making the appt. Which was convenient because I easily added to my phone. When Alex got here he went straight to work.
