9/17/2019 It's really hard to find knife sharpening services in the Kailua, Kaneohe area so I was delighted to find DS Sharpening through Yelp. Everything was easy and smooth. I contacted the company through their website and received a prompt reply. We set up an appointment and Dakota arrived on time. Communication throughout was professional and courteous. He sharpened 2 knives to my required angles (1 at 18 degrees and the 2nd at 20 degrees) costing $7 for each knife, extremely reasonable. I took several knives to Dakota ranging from hunting knives, everyday carry knives, dive knife, as well as kitchen cleavers, and cane knives and machetes. All of them were done to perfection BEFORE the promised 48 hours. WOW! I actually failed to tell Dakota that I wanted a specific edge on one of my cleavers and he took it back and changed the edge angle without charging me extra for MY mistake. HOW'S THAT for service.
