D's is a neighborhood staple! Love stopping in for a quick bite or to go food. We love that it is family friendly! The food is consistent - the pizza, the hotdogs, the fries. All of it. Always good! The most recent trip in we got a kids meal hot dog and fries (great value) and 2 hotdogs for myself. They have several different types of hotdog wieners to choose from so you're not limited to only beef. They are right next door to a great outdoor gear shop that lets you hang around their fire pit. Guests often go to D's to grab some bottles and a pizza and eat next door.

I had such a great experience at D's Six Pax and Dogz. We ordered the chili dog with fries and also tried the traditional wings with D's dry rub. The wings were absolutely perfect. Honestly, they are probably the best wings I have had in Pittsburgh so far. I love crispy and crunchy wings, and these were exactly that. Full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and so satisfying. The fries and the hot dog were amazing as well. I love that they only use beef hot dogs, which is a huge plus for me. Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. We also tried the root beer since I heard they are known for it. It was just regular root beer to me, but still fun to try. The environment is super chill, and the service was totally fine. Nothing over the top, but friendly enough and no issues at all. They also have a section in the back where you can browse different beers, which is a cool touch. Overall, D's is definitely a spot I will be returning to. Great food, great wings, and a relaxed vibe.

This is a bar you could go to every weekend, and still have tons of beers and food to try. What a great spot! We sat while waiting for pizza across the street and had a great time. Both beers were great! And I never would have tried a cinnamon sugar rum on a beer but since they suggested, I tried it. Perfect combo. The wings were a little small, but they were crispy and the sauce was great. Be warned, Swissvale gold is SPICY! Love spicy foods, but this one definitely hits you right away and lingers. Staff was great, busy for a week night and lots of families. Next time want to try to sit at the bar or get a drink from the other half of the place.

Gourmet hot dogs? Sign me up! There's no place like D's Dogz. Their hotdog menu is so elite. Combinations you would never think of. Super fun divey vibe. If I could eat a hot dog everyday you'd never not see me at D's. They also do turkey dogs if you're feeling crazy. They had a buffalo chicken dip special when I was there last and you need to try it.

5/11/25 Ate List: Italian Hoagie - 8.1 Fries - 7.6 Used to come here all the time when I lived in the area. Had a craving so stopped back in. Their Italian Hoagie is one of my all time favorites. Today's was close to what I remembered but just a touch more burnt than usual. Fries are reliably solid. Service here previously was reliably great. Still feel for the most part it is/would be. Think my server was having a bad day or something because I just got exclusively "annoyed" vibes from him with every interaction. Could've just been a one off thing, idk ‍ Hope so. But will still be back.

Very solid spot for some cheap and reasonably high quality American food. I got to try their grilled cheese sandwich (very basic but still tasty), the chips, and their ranch. Everything was quite good. The grilled cheese was cheap for a nice portion. Classic American cheese in an ample portion, oozing out of the bread. Not too buttery. Would have liked a bit more of a crisp, but not bad. Chips were great. Well seasoned, and more than ample portion size as a side. They went really well with their ranch, which was super creamy and tasty. Definitely recommend this spot!

D's is our favorite neighborhood spot for a quick bite, catching up with friends over a drink, and everything in-between. The staff are all personable, the food always comes out quickly, and the menu rarely disappoints. My boyfriend always orders a Chicago dog, and I never pass on the beer-battered fries. This time, they were also running a special on buffalo chicken dip, so as a self-proclaimed Buffalo chicken dip snob I couldn't resist. It was a bit underwhelmed, but it was still good overall. We will be back again and again!

I've only been here twice and both times I've sat outside, so I can't review the inside of the restaurant, but it was great that both times I was outside I did not feel neglected at all, which sometimes happens at places when you sit outside. The waitresses were attentive and friendly! My chicken sandwich was delicious and the fries were cooked perfectly. My friend got the Buffalo chicken salad and not only was it massive but she also said it had great flavor!

D's is casual double-storefront in a block full of restaurants and cafes in Regent Square just east of Frick Park. At 4pm on a Sunday, we found street-parking along S. Braddock Ave, and saw more on the cross-streets. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The decor is cute with a wall-length semi-classical mural in one of two rooms. They make really good Chicago dogs on poppy seed buns! The dogs are genuine Viennas, the toppings are fresh and tasty and generous. (Sorry, but the relish isn't neon-green as it should be.) They have many other creative dogs, too, pizzas, hoagies, grilled chicken sandwiches, and burgers, including turkey-dogs, veggie-dogs and burgers. The large order of fries is enormous! Enough for five people! They were piping hot and crispy with a light coating. Great beer selection, and you can choose from a walk-in beer refrigerator in the back. We got friendly quick service. Get your Chi-dogs here folks! We'll be back!

So excited to finally try the food here. Came here for my friend's wedding celebration in the past and they offer great selection of drinks and drafts. If you're looking for an event space, definitely check them out. This time, I tried their wings and it made it to the top of my favorite place to get wings in the city. I also heard good things about their pizza and hot dogs. This place gets pack even in a weekday and the service is still good.

D's Six Pax and Dogz is a dive-y spot where you for the food and drinks. It's unpretentious and no frills with a fairly straightforward simple menu and very reasonable prices with big portions. We got fries and chips to share and they were delicious. I loved my hot dog and enjoyed all the food. Our party of six sat outside and they were nice enough to take our orders even though their policy is normally you have to go inside and order for yourself. Our food came out pretty quickly and was devoured just as quickly. Would definitely come back!

Sooo soo good! Ordered the Chicago with the smoked sausage. And the fries. Casual environment, local beers too! Service was great, very attentive!

My sister took me out to lunch at D's. This is my first time dining in the restaurant. We have ordered take out before and it was super yummy. The food didn't disappoint this time either! Also my 3 year old really enjoyed his hot dog and applesauce. My sister then showed me the back room area with all their beer selection for purchase. It was pretty cool. Really nice to have this so close to people's homes.

We both agreed that the fries were good, but were plain and could've been seasoned a little more. They were pretty thick (bordering on steak fries) so they weren't super crispy (we love crispy) But the fries dipped in ranch and mustard were solid - they have really good ranch!! LOVED our dinner at this place…read more We came here for dinner while visiting Pittsburgh. The first thing that struck me was the interior decor. Very industrial and moody with an open kitchen/preparation area that adds some intrigue. I do like to see the happenings of what's going on as someone with zero attention span. Service was excellent. George was fantastic. He kept a close eye on us without being overbearing. He anticipated what we might need so we didn't spend one second waiting to order anything. The menu is not endless or overwhelming which, presumably, allows them to focus on the items that are listed. I have decision panic so it was kinda nice to have less things to choose from. They asked if there were any allergies or dietary restrictions so I mentioned my vegetarianism. George went through the menu and pointed out the vegetarian options including what seems like it is vegetarian but isn't. They had TWO vegetarian entree options and fortunately the non-mushroom one was something I probably would have ordered anyway: pesto with walnuts, arugula, and a very generous amount of grated cheese. To start, I ordered the Brussels sprouts whichc I was warned had fish sauce. This was fine but nothing that blew me away. GF, on the other hand, loved this. GF ordered the wedge which was brought to our attention as vegetarian with the bacon on the side, which was her request. We ended up sharing both, a large part of that was because hers came out first and I couldn't wait but I'm so glad because the wege was FANTASTIC. The dressing? holy fuck pure ecastasy. The wedge was more like a filet shape which was much easier to eat. Who decided on the wedge shape anyway? The lettuce was so fresh and crisp and went wonderfully with that orgasmic dressing and breadcrumbs. Back to my pasta. Also delectable. Noodles were al dente. The sauce was creamy and packed that pesto umami flavor. The walnuts were a really nice contrast in texture. Everything about it absolutely fucking slapped. GF ordered the mushroom entree which came served on a bed of barley which, don't mind if I do, had a few forkfuls to "sample" for "my review". Again, so fucking good. Because it was my birthday, George provided a dessert (yuzu maybe?) that was served inside a meringue-esque igloo, creamy perfect balance of sweet and tart custard with some berry business underneath. Wonderful. I almost forgot their spectacular cocktails! Holy shit, literally they have a CORN CHIP cocktail that I could not pass up. It comes with two massive cornchips on top of a flavored foam. When you bring the glass up to sip, the cornchips are right in front of your nose and their aroma sets the stage for the drink which was STRONG. It wasn't as corn chip forward as I expected but I understand that flavor is probaly hard to create. For my second drink, I ordered the blue one which was refreshing, light, and really good. GF ordered a spritz which was gorgeous "it was good". For second round, I picked out some uranium thing that was very cucumbery, GF says, "it was good". I just read it outloud to her. "it's true!" Fantastic meal at a great place.
