I originally contacted a competitor company in Lakewood whose owner was very rude, discourteous and disinterested. He did however send out a pleasant serviceman who determined that our ac would likely need a new motor to get it working and suggested that due to the expense of a motor replacement I might be better served investing that money into a new AC. That made sense but it had worked fine until recently so I chose to get a second opinion. After my poor experience I chose not to use the Lakewood company any further. Several friends who are long term, satisfied customers, highly recommended Bay Heating and Air Conditioning after I told them about my previous experience. So I called the people at Bay who were very courteous and professional and they scheduled their tech Marty to came out within a few days. Marty was absolutely AMAZING and for the mere price of a service call, he diligently repaired our AC. It was not an easy fix! Although I am planning on purchasing a new air conditioner and furnace in the near future, Marty enabled us to get by for awhile until we're in a better position financially to make the purchase.
