This is a truly terrible company. Just plain awful! They had been excellent. This past winter the furnace malfunctioned and they quickly did a temporary fix until a warranteed part could be ordered in. Great service. Then Collins abandoned us. They never came back to do the needed full repair and would not return phone calls (even to Mr. Collins' cell phone). I tried for weeks, and was gaslighted the entire time. Two days ago I tried again for a different maintenance issue. Surprisingly I did get through, and they scheduled a service appointment for the next morning, but they never showed up. No phone call. Nothing. I tried calling them to find out what's going on, and their AI answering said we'd get a return call. Of course, that never happened. A once good company now terrible. read more

The install techs were fast and quality oriented and very kind. The cost for everything was very fair. The owner is a great guy.

Excellent. I appreciate the honesty, speed, and cleanliness of the crew. I was looking to replace an ~40 year old system after a tune up technician warned me of a flame roll out on startup of my old unit. The initial company wouldn't quote me for a new unit as they weren't permitted in my area. I had another company come out and quote me about 50% higher than Collins Cooling & Heating for a furnace replacement and install with their lowest end 80% system. Steve was able to set me up with a furnace, chimney liner, and new air conditioner for not much more than the first company was charging for a furnace alone. His whole crew was knowledgeable, and courteous. Lewis was helpful in explaining everything I needed to know about the new system. Very disappointed with this company. Called and told them my furnace was not working and wanted them to schedule a service call to have someone give me an estimate. They told me that all their techs were tied up. They wanted to know if we bought the furnace from them. When I said "No", they told me they would only send someone out if we were going to buy a new furnace from them. I understand it's the middle of winter, but we called another company and they had someone at our house in just over an hour. Only called them because of Yelp reviews. Too bad I didn't get the same service as other folks. read more

I called Collins after another heating and air-conditioning supplier told me I needed a new air air-conditioner. It turns out I did not need the new air-conditioning system. Collins replaced the exterior fuse box for just $200 and saved me over $3000 the other company would have charged. read more
