This shoe store is conveniently located in Atlantic Station. It's been the only store that I get my shoes from while studying in Atlanta. I've always found a shoe that I like there and I am a size 6-6.5. The sales associates try to be helpful but I don't really ever need their help. They will keep popping up on you to tell you about their rewards membership which is great for getting discounts and gift certificates if you shop there enough. I like to shop there particularly on days when I can get double/triple member points on my purchases. The clearance rack is located at the far back but I don't think I've ever found a shoe I liked from there. I just wished there were more full body mirrors around since that's how I can make a better judgement of the shoe's appearance on myself. read more

I would not recommend anyone wasting their time going to this location. First of all, their employees are the most unprofessional and lazy employees I have ever encountered at any DSW in the country. Secondly, their choice of shoes is minimal, disorganized, and the store is messy and unkempt. It used to be a pleasure to walk into a DSW, until this location and the people they employ here. Only thing I liked about this location with the fact I was able to get a handicap parking right in front of the store. I haven't shoe shopped in a long time. My.preferred DSW location is the one at Cumberland Mall. However, since I needed a flat white sandal at the final hour, I was forced to come here today. Camp creek location was closed yesterday (store flooded weeks ago). This location does not have a large selection. Semi piss poor customer service. No one asks if you need help. Mind you it's less than 10 people in the store at 4 p.m. on a Monday, a rainy Monday at that. Checking out I hand cashier my cash. She places my change on the counter. That timed parking meter is what saved her from a few choice and colorful words. That's the rudest damn thing. I doubt I will come back to this location read more

The employees here are very unprofessional! I would not Patronize this establishment ever again. The so call Manager was super unprofessional. I called to ask about returning some shoes that I had just purchased the day before, that hadn't even been worn. She gets on the phone typical Atlanta attitude "yeah" is what she says while getting on the phone. I'm explaining that I have my bank receipt and she hangs the phone up on me. I call back and now they give me a different person that's supposedly the assistant manager. I never raised my voice or anything with her. I really hope DSW make some changes and get professionals that want to work and do their job properly. read more

One of the frustrating things about DSW or any shoe store is how hard it is to find size 5.5 shoes. But frustration no more, I learned today if they don't have your size, they will check with the other stores and if available, ship to your house for FREE! I also love DSW b/c they really do have the best and widest selection of shoes. And call me crazy but I like to walk up and down almost every single aisle and call it my exercise for the day, haha! :) Another tip, join their loyalty club b/c after earning certain # points, you'll get $10 certificates. They're also great about returns - no time limit. FYI they're located next to Publix. Atlantic Station parking is free for up to two hours. read more

When I was shopping at this store and finding very little that I was interested in buying, I began to think that maybe it was because I simply had too many shoes already. Maybe there really was just no place in my wardrobe where another pair of shoes could possibly add something. Maybe my mom was right all those times she told me that I didn't need another pair of shoes. No, that couldn't possibly be it. All the "maybes" above were very quickly dispelled when I bought four pairs of shoes off the clearance rack at Dillard's on this same trip to Atlantic Station. See? I really do still need shoes! Basically, this store just doesn't have a selection that appeals to me. They have tons of shoes but not much that I had to have, although I did find a pair of boots that I liked and bought. It is not DSW, in general, either; some DSW stores have a fantastic selection, where I need more than one of those giant mesh bags to carry around my intended purchases. This is, unfortunately, just not one of those stores. It's worth a visit if you are in Atlantic Station already, but I wouldn't make this a primary destination if you are really seriously looking for shoes. read more

Okay good. I thought I was imagining this store was smaller, but it's not just me. I agree with the other reviewers. DSW is great. This DSW is not. The Buckhead and even the Kennesaw and Camp Creek locations have a better selection with a wider variety (and the Kennesaw location has a Starbucks next door... yay!). DSW isn't exactly a place I'm ever jonesin' to get to on any given day. Nor is it really a place I'd go to for shoes in general. However, our first visit with DSW in Atlantic Station was a full-on success! I came in with my wife, who was looking for a new pair of flats, and I decided to peruse the men's section while she checked out the women's selection. The selection of men's shoes is actually pretty extensive. As a man who buys a pair of stylish shoes once every 3-5 years, their stuff is pretty awesome. As of late, it's pretty easy to tell that everyone is pretty into boots of all kinds. Being the curmudgeon that I am, I "bah humbugged" my way through trying a few pairs on and didn't end up finding any I truly loved. They do carry Minnetonka moccasins, though. I know they are meant to be house shoes, but the day they become more casual for around town... yep. That'll be me. We scored some really great flats for my wife -- a gray pair and a black pair. She is very happy with them. Prices were super low, too. Really nice to see so many great options on sale. I'm sure we'll be back when she needs another pair of shoes or when I finally decide to buy a pair of decent boots for myself within the next millennia. read more

Came for curb side pickup, lets start with how rudely the associate addressed me on the phone. Not only was my order NOT ready within the guaranteed 2 hour frame quoted me, she asked if I had received a confirmation email that my order was ready in a condescending tone, to which I informed her that I did not think to check as I placed my order 3 hours prior, so being that I was quoted 2 hours, I assumed that I was the one late and not them. She then put me on hold without warning, came back 2 minutes later requested my confirmation number then put me on hold without warning again, came back to the phone stated my order was being prepared, ANOTHER unwarned hold, came back to ask my car and then hung up. The associate who approached my car, gave no greeting, despite my "Hi" when she came to the car and immediately requested my ID. As someone who spent 6 years in the food industry and continues to work in customer service at a higher level. Let's bring the service back to customer service. Every-time I come here, despite how pleasant a mood one may be in, the associates are just down right rude. If you hate your job, plenty of places are hiring! read more

I really like this location. Its right in Atlantic Station, and, once you go up the wonky escalator set-up, they have a great selections of shoes. The employees helped my pick out a new pair of shoes for work, and it was a pretty painless experience. This place is very busy because of its location but very stocked. I was able to find the exact converse I wanted but my size wasn't in the front. Size 7 is very common so I have to ask. They had them in the back so I was golden lol. They do have a rewards program so be sure to sign up at the register. They can easily set you up or look you up. They also do price adjustments if you forgot a reward $ card or promotional offer. read more

Shoe Heaven. This is the best DSW in the area. This location has designers that the others don't. Plus I love how you can combine a ton of coupons. The last time I went to DSW I found a pair of shoes that were originally 179.00 retail on the clearance rack. After all of my coupons plus the clearance price I walked out paying $17 bucks and I got a free beach bag that was really cute. My sister got these really cute Rock & Republic wedges that made my heart palpitate. read more

This Atlantic Station oasis is definitely a shoe lover's dream from pumps to flats and everything in the between. I love escaping in the aisle for an hour or two to find the perfect shoe to complement my new outfit. I'm pretty ambivalent about this DSW, though I have found some of good shoes here. It's very hit or miss - I can go in and find several pairs that I like for the right prices (as was the case for my most recent visit), or I can walk up and down every aisle, seeing absolutely nothing appealing, even for the wrong prices. I've almost never found anything when I've gone in with the intent of getting new shoes for a specific purpose. The store itself is big and open, clean, well-organized, and decently well-maintained, though the floors near the escalators are starting to show some wear. They do have a large selection of all types of shoes - dress shoes, flats, loafers, boots, running shoes, casual shoes, etc. Their clearance section doesn't seem as large as the one at Lenox. There is plenty of staff wandering around to help, and the lines at check out have always been reasonable. When it comes to shoes, I have a hard time finding something I like because I have huge feet AND am very picky. I didn't even know this store existed at Atlantic Station until my husband told me about it. I went one weekend and did have to sift through the many styles of boots, but I found a pair I liked. I love the location but the people here don't really help you much. I went in today for a pair of flats & I had to ask at least four people for help. I know they can check as to whether or not they have a shoe in stock and it took me at least 20 min to find out that they in fact didn't. The selection was so small too. NO HOLIDAY SHINE TODAY! I usually prefer to travel south to the Atlanta stores to purchase shoes because they have such an extensive selection. However, this was not the case today as the store just did not have what I was looking for, sport sandals. While I know that we are heading into the Christmas Holiday, I consider sport sandals to be stocked year round and readily available. They certainly had the flip-flops in stock! Today my husband and I found nothing that we wanted to purchase and we were disappointed by their selection. I placed an order online and for some reason the address of Atlantic Station defaulted. My order did not go to my regular store. I have called customer service and the store directly to get the shoes sent to my normal location (the memphis location on my profile). I then called the store and spoke to Avery Ramirez (the store manager) who had a horrible attitude and did not want to correct the error. I explained to him that I had been given the run around by customer service and wanted the shoes sent to the Memphis location. It took forever for him to decide to assist. He wanted me to do the damn footwork and call customer service AGAIN to cancel the order instead of taking the load off of me for an error that was never mine! My regular store would have never treated a customer this poorly. Shame on the Avery for his poor customer service. How can he manage a team with no customer service skills of his own? read more

Love this store!!! Great customer service! If they don't have your size they will look for it in other stores and tell them to hold it for you and even if they don't have it they will order it and have it shipped to the store or to your house! The rewards program is really good. It's taken me a long time to find a good shoe store and I'm happy to say that I've finally found it! read more
