I did find some sandals online for cheaper. So I would say look for your shoes online, and either have them shipped for free to your home or pick them up at the store! This is a big store. |There is never anyone on the floor to help a customer without a person having to walk up to the cash registers to ask for help. Today there were three people at the checkstands. I was the only customer. The store needs to keep a service person on the floor to find sizes or answer questions. I left there today with a bad attitude towards DSW. read more

Came in because my family wanted to come here to get some shoes so I stopped and it was worth it. While we were there my fam got the help that was needed here and staff even went out the way to search for something if it was not there or help us locate another store that may have it. Blond bitch with eyeliner at the front counter should NOT be working in any customer service position. She was extremely cold, had an obvious frown throughout the entire interaction, and walked away from the counter in the middle of my check out without saying a single word about where she was going or what she was doing with my shoes. She was just EXTREMELY rude and off putting. Just sounded like she was reading from a script. I have worked in customer service for many years, I wouldn't be writing this review about her unless her service was THAT bad. Made me not want to spend my money at your store. read more

They have a large selection here, unless you're a size 11 like my wife. Virtually zero selection for her. We actually came here for ankle boots, but they hardly have any either since the summer is coming, it's all sandles instead. I get that, but it wouldn't kill the store to have a single row for ankle boots. The store has a billion sandles right now, many of which are hideous. Came here to return some boots I bought online that didn't fit. I was having issues returning them online and decided to just come in. For a Saturday morning, it was pretty empty. The woman who helped me was nice and took the shoes back without any issue. The process was quick and painless. I did think they were only going to give me store credit since I had gotten a free bag out of the purchase based on the price, but this apparently was not an issue. She credited the card I used originally. I did look around to see if I could find a similar pair but they didn't have any combat boots in the clearance section or in the aisles. They actually hardly had any boots. This store is always very clean and organized. I love looking around here and shopping. There's always plenty of parking in this outdoor mall, too. read more

Oh, if only I wasn't 7 months pregnant. I would have bought a brand new collection of heels. I would have brought them home and threw out every pair of shoes I currently have to be replaced by a pile of shiny new shoes. Instead I bought one pair of black Guess flats because this is what my life for the next few months has been relegated to. I was immediately greeted and taken to the flats and she even went over all of the kinds that would be good feeling for my feet. There are those little socks to wear when trying them on. I was able to peruse and try on as many shoes as I liked. There was even comfortable little benches for me to use. The selection of shoes was incredible. I don't think I have experienced anything like this before. Suddenly, I noticed a door with a sign above it labeled, Clearance. You could hear the angels singing in heavenly voices. The Clearance area is as big as any Payless Shoesource you will ever go in. Selection was phenomenal! I just couldn't really buy anything because my calves are fatter than normal, so boots are out. My feet aren't swollen but they just are not the same for heels. This means I have to come back. I need to start a "to-do once baby is out and my body is back to normal" list. read more

So being a frequent DSW member, I get those coupons in the mail for $10 off a $50 purchase, $15 off for a $75 purchase, and so on. I thought I'd try my luck and find something I would like. Lo and behold, in the clearance section, was this pair of grey Coach ballet flats. Because they were 50% off, they were knocked from $100 to $50, and with my coupon, they would have been only $40. $40 to add these beautiful Coach flats to my collection. The biggest steal on the face of the planet. But. These shoes weren't my size. Like Goldilocks, an 8 and a half is just way too big for my feet. My crazy side told me to drop the 40 bucks and just stuff the toes with tissue paper, so they would fit somewhat comfortable. But my sane (practical) side told me it ain't worth it. DSW, I still love you despite this slight snafu in our relationship. I know I'll be back someday and I'll find another great steal hopefully soon. read more

I purchased a pair of boots last October. I wore them 5 times at most. The leather upper literally was coming off the sole. Went in hoping to at least get a credit. Nope because they were worn! Really, really, getting disappointed with the majority overly priced, lack of quality shoes I have purchased from DSW this last year. The last few shoes I have bought, and spent at least $50.00 on, seem to start falling to shams within weeks. One or two pairs, the soles start falling out, another pair of pumps were so poorly designed, it was just about liable to causing a slipping accident. The service provided at this location is great, so no complaints with that, but my God, the shoes have been disappointing. And what is up with the corporate headquarters " Customer Service" line? I have called NUMEROUS times to get a hold of someone to discuss a pair of shoes I ordered on line, and I absolutely can't get through to anyone!! DSW, is a shoe discount store/ warehouse. The best part is the clearance section in the back, most of shoes are the rejects for the front of the store that wouldn't sell, but there are some great deals as well. My favorite thing to do here is find the most hideous shoes in clearance and try them on, with Nikki Minaj's popularity this isn't a difficult task. Because DSW is a discount store it's hit or miss to find a cute pair of shoes in your size, right now there is a large selection of boots, so hurry and get there before they run out of your size. read more

This place is cheap shoe paradise. This store is giant in comparison to typical suburban sell-one-kind-of-thing stores (the SF store is even bigger) and is big by any standards. They have women's shoes, men's shoes, and clearance shoes (no kids) and there is a TON of variety in each department. Wedges, heels, sandals, flats, boots, athletic shoes, prom shoes, wedding shoes- whatever you want. And they have a smallish selection of purses, clutches, wallets, hats, etc. The parking in this plaza is a little weird. I recommend driving all the way around the right side of the plaza and parking at the side of DSW- easiest way. Happy shoe shopping! Oh, and if you sign up for their rewards program, you get coupons. I called earlier today to ask about a return of what I felt to be a defective shoe, it had an abnormal lump in the middle of one shoe which made it very uncomfortable, and was pleasantly surprised at their quick no argument agreement to do the exchange. I feel that the staff and Manager went the extra step to ensure that they stood by the items they sell and that I left happy. I now have a pair of shoes to replace the defective ones and the DSW has a happy customer that will return for future footwear needs. You want variety? There is plenty of variety here. Now mind you this is not the size of DSW in L.A. off of Hollywood Blvd, but this is little Brentwood. Even the website amazes me it accepts multiple coupon codes in one purchase, has same great prices as the store in Brentwood and a huge selection. I've told many people about this hidden gem at the back of Streets of Brentwood and anytime I'm out in East County I stop in to browse. Only thing that disappoints me is that I recently moved and it seems the coupons I once got can no longer find me by mail. Being a recovering shop-a-holic I think i just re-lapsed. FREAKING AWESOME PLACE. I was on a hunt for shoes to match my champagne colored dress I had picked out for New Years. I went high and low looking for a pair of shoes from walnut creek, to pleasanton, to concord and found NOTHING. I recently started to frequent the Brentwood area and yelped shoe store locations and found DSW. THANK GOD FOR DSW. Not only did I find the shade of color I wanted for my shoes (since I was not trying to wear the same old black pumps) but I found a matching evening clutch and more things I did not need! I was able to walk outta there with my new shoes and clutch for under $100. I probably saved myself at least $50 if I would have shopped at Norstroms or Macys! DID I MENTION I FRICKIN LOVE THIS PLACE?! I had to pry myself away from everything else I wanted but definitely did not need (like new running shoes, new sandals, new large purse to fit a whole bunch of more stuff that I dont need to carry). I even told the cashier I had to get out of that place fast or I'd buy the whole store when he asked me if I found everything I needed. OF COURSE I DID AND MORE!! Thinking of my few visits there is getting me all excited and giving me the shakes... I think I need to go to Rehab. I guarantee you will find something you like here.
