Amazon returns here are easy. Regular return wait has been a little longer, in my experience. I've found several good fashion finds and use my Kohl's cash to snag some cute items. The Sephora here is super clutch and there always an attendant available. The baby clothes are precious and they are well stocked with sizes. Decent merchandising and no bare racks/shelves. Sometimes overstocked, but at least everything is accessible. Nobody greeted me but I could locate an associate and security was at the door when I visited at night. read more

I like this Kohl's store. HOWEVER,... the Sephora INSIDE this Kohl's -- not so much. Went shopping with my daughter and my sister and both wanted to check out the Sephora side. my daughter was checking out the merchandise and I was standing right beside her. (side note; I was literally ON MY PHONE playing Call of Duty:Mobile). I glanced up and their (Sephora) security guard is looking at me. I paid no mind and continued playing. something felt off but, I trailed behind my daughter as she was telling me what are some good products to try for my face. I glance back up again-- and this guard is looking down the aisle we are in but he was in the aisle down the way. I thought to myself maybe they get a lot of humans who take their crap for free. and you know what, I get he's doing his job. However,... after the third and fourth, and fifth time of him walking around checking to see if I'm trying to steal something.... it ain't right. The entire Sephora and Kohl store can gladly look back in their security feeds and see I'm trying to play a game on my phone and not stealing stuff. i don't know if anyone else has gotten this kind of behavior from their security guard, but I've gone shopping at other Sephora stores and even THEIR security guards don't follow people around like that. and this guy wasn't even dressed like the Sephora store guards they have. this "Sephora guard" was randomly dressed like any man on the streets at a festival or concert but had "SECURITY" labeled on him but going down the aisles staring and checking me out to see if I'm stealing ish. it was so very uncomfortable being followed and trolled and not asked if I needed help or to ask if there was anything wrong all while knowing I'm not shoplifting or stealing anything but literally ON MY PHONE playing Call of Duty. if Kohl's and Sephora don't allow ppl on their cell phones while shopping, they need to put up some signs saying so so that i and a lot of other ppl - won't be going back. least I know now to walk into THIS Kohl's and the Sephora store section with my hands up -- until I leave the store. So it leaves one less thing to worry abt. people steal from target and Walmart and Ulta and the actual Sephora store ALL THE TIME. Dear Kohl's.... We understand that you are struggling financially....we see the piles and overflowing racks of clothes that were in style for 30 seconds....5 years ago piled high on tables. The fake sales, the coupons you can't really use on anything, but... CalOSHA does have a maximum temperature for employees that work inside. I've tried again to shop, made another attempt, this time after dark.....but when it's not only hot, but muggy inside your store, it's too much. You cannot work retail or shop when it's over 80 and there is no active air movement. Staff at the register needing to wear tank tops but still had sweat beads on their forehead, a staff member dressed in business casual clothing, was tidying the clothing racks and they had sweat dripping off the tip of their nose. Running down the side of their face. Why are you doing this? I was so hot and thought it was just me.....this is my 3rd attempt in 9 weeks to shop at your store and I now understand....you don't want customers. You want everything to close down. There is zero other reason for you to be pushing customers away so blatantly. It wasn't just me. Everyone in line, multiple women in the fitting room were complaining and stopped trying on clothes, a child was whining they were too hot and got excited when they found the dirt dirt dirty floor was cool. Turn on the AC for your employees and your customers. This is California and it's the law to provide a safe working environment...we have this law because of businesses that behave like this. Your customers, your employees, your security guard company....all sweating after 9 pm at night still.... Sounds like from staff you are controlling the AC from back East. If that is the case....85 with 99% humidity is the 100 degrees that it is here for 5 months in the year, the next 3 are above 8. It should not be cooler outside than inside the store, it's ridiculous but it's 79 outside and over 80 inside that store. You're going to end up with a person passing out and if it's an employee, that is all Worker's Compensation....a customer, a lawsuit....especially if it was heat stroke. Do better. read more

Went into the store yesterday to buy an item that online states was in Brentwood. I asked a team member , she checked on her device, told me 'oh you have the wrong store' . Dismayed , I left , came home , went online , same information, Brentwood store had item, I called spoke with Marissa , she was a total delight, she took my tel# told me she would search for said item and would call me back. Marissa was a doll, she 100% followed through and told me the item was in hold for 24 hours. Today I went in, the security guard was helpful , as where to get a pickup, spoke with Marjorie another sweet team member, told her an item was on hold, she immediately got item and the 2nd day experience with Marissa , Marjorie was lovely , they deserve a raise for their wonderful customer service , thank you both , and courteous security guard at Kohl's Brentwood. read more

Sales are good. It's a nice store, very clean, but I could not find what I was looking for. Every time I come though I can't seem to find what I need. However, my mom loves this store and she loves shopping here. Holiday sales though are always good as well. Maybe next time. read more

I returned a item that was full price when I bought it. I didn't get back the full amount as now the item was on sale . shady business practice. Then the other day I got a call from Kohls for my cc saying I was overdue 12.60 in my card payment mind you I was in my car driving and this person was hassling me about $12.60 while I was in heavy traffic. I told him I would call him when I got home he pressured me and pressured me to pay that damn bill right then and there I should've hung up on him but I didn't I did a credit card payment over the phone in heavy traffic with some jerk making a big deal out of $12.60. Went into kohls yesterday in Brentwood to pay on my sister's account, but because I did not have a bar code on the statement my sister gave me. All I was told is that they could not help me. So went to the kohls in pleasant hill with the accept something and they ask me for some information which I gave and they where able to get the information for me and I was able to pay on the account. So I would go to Pleasent hill instead of Brentwood much nicer people there willing to help. read more

I like Kohl's for having good family shopping sales, and good family special offers, such as the $10 Kohl's cash back for every $50 spent, and the 30%, 35%, 40% discount promotion for using Kohl's credit card. These offers gave me a good shopping experience for both shopping online and for shopping in the store. I like Kohl's, because the store got remodeled with Sephora, and got reorganized to make everything looked less stressed, and less headaches. Their customer service, self-check out cashier registers, and online pickup, got moved to the front of the store, and this change made Kohl's look really good and looks very well organized. Love their sales and also love how they have an Amazon drop off location In their store. They make it very easy to make returns and give you a coupon for their store after. They have such a huge selection for most every department. Their baby department is small but they do carry Carter. Whenever i have needed to make a return their customer service department is helpful, friendly and quick. Their is typically a line at the front of the store so be prepared to wait to check out. read more

Partnering with Amazon to expedite online returns is a genius move from Kohl's. That should generate more foot traffic. It does expedite returns, not need to neatly package returning products. Kohl's in turn, give you a return confirmation receipt with a considerable amount of discount when you shop at Kohl's. That in turn made me purchase a stack of socks and a few shirts. read more

Very courteous cashier - one of my items still had a security sensor when I walked out the door- she helped me locate it -which was in a coat pocket. While apologizing she proceeded to refill my shopping bag ( that we emptied out in the search) at the detriment of waiting customers, so I shooed her away to return to her register. A couple of issues directed to the Management. Do you even care what your store looks like? I used the dressing room near the Active Wear...no problem. But then I went into the other dressing room ....that is the most disgusting place. That area is just not dirty it is filthy. The floors are thick with dirt and dust and if you look up on the trim...it is so dusty. Those rooms have not been cleaned in months and I'm not exaggerating. It was very busy when I was there. Both cashier areas had long lines with only 2 cashiers open. I walked over to the jewelry department and the person behind the counter said I had to buy jewelry to use that register. What??? The store was busy, not enough cashiers but he wouldn't help anyone unless jewelry was bought. So the register was working, but only for select customers. Unbelievable. read more

I will not be shopping at Kohls anymore. 2022- NO CHRISTMAS MUSIC even one week before Christmas. No decorations. This is ridiculous.

Stopped into do a little shopping on a Wednesday night. It was slow and not very many people in the store, so I had the run of the store , with every salesperson, offering to assist me , if I needed help. When I completed my shopping experience, I had to return a item I bought "MONTHS AGO". The salesperson working in the return and credit department was extremely nice , efficient and friendly. Because my return item was beyond 90 days, a manager was needed to approve my return . The manager ok'd my return without any DRAMA. Needless to say, the entire experience was ZERO DRAMA..... I would like to say a big thank you to LAURAN the store manager AND MICHELL, at the return desk. My best Kohl's experience ever .. read more

The store is located in a convenient area with lots of parking. The inventory is a bit sparse but I can usually find some of what I need. The store is kept clean including the restrooms which is one reason we shop there weekly. The amazon return is very convenient and the other reason we shop there. That was a really smart idea to take in amazon returns. There is room for the staffing which could use some improvement in terms of professionalism and courtesy which is biggest negative at this Khols in brentwood. read more

Enjoy shopping at Kohl's when there's a great sale. It make the trip worth while, especially if you buy $152.91 in merchandise and with sales and coupon I ended up paying $38.37!!! Saved over $110 dollars! What takes away the 5th star for me is the waiting in line to purchase. Strangely enough I've always had the misfortune to get behind a loooooong transaction and the clerk seems not to have any idea of what to do. Minor detail since I'm a stay-at-home mommy and I don't mind getting stuck in a slow moving line but also customer service is a must and maybe the clerk could look up and let those of us in line and haven't walked somewhere else to find a register, that she'll be right with us, call for help or move a bit faster. OK I've never been much of a fan of Kohl's. But recently I've been dragged in repeatedly by a friend and shown the benefit of being a member of their savings program as well as using Kohls cash and taking advantage of their sales. I like their linens and the kids clothes have been really great! Also I found a silver chain that I've been looking for for quite a while at jewelry stores and couldn't find the perfect one, but I found it at Kohl's! Who knew?! So this particular Kohls seems to be clean and mostly picked up when I've been through there. The staff have been hit and miss, sometimes nice sometimes not very helpful. I posted this review on Kohl's website but it "SOMEHOW" was DELETED !!! so I will post it here! I ordered a pair of shoes for my husband online and they were delivered yesterday. We ordered a size 10 1/2 ut we received a size 10. My husband went to the store to exchange them for the right size or return them if they didn't have the correct size. He spoke with a lady that was at one of the registers and was told that he could go and see if they had his right size in stock. He asked her if he needed to leave his pair at the register or if he could take them with him. She told him to go ahead and take them. They did not have his size so he was sent to customer service for a refund. When he got to customer service he gave them the shoes and the receipt and let them know he wanted a refund. Some other employee walked up and asked him if he brought the shoes in with him and my husband told him, he did bring them in with him. The employee got on his walkie-talkie for a minute and then reached over snatched the shoes off the counter and said nope you took these off the shelf. My husband said "bullshit, check your cameras" then about 5 FIVE employees surrounded him. After a few minutes they all just walked off without a word. They did not explain why they no longer thought he stole them and they NEVER APOLOGIZED. Which is what really pisses me off. Then they just gave him a refund and while he was walking out of the store they were talking about him on the loud speaker. The lady at the register who helped him in the beginning was the only nice employee their. She even asked him if he got what he was looking for while he was leaving. My husband is very quit and keeps to himself unless you REALLY piss him off so he just left. So I called the manager Ashley, who swore she didn't know about any of this, which I don't believe either... Since they were talking on the walkie-talkies and the loud speakers. I have worked in customer service as a manager for 15 years and the way all this was handled was absolutely wrong. We will NEVER shop here again!!!! If Kohls were a church, my sister would be the lead in that choir! Perhaps I don't get it, they have great sales especially on brand name items but there's something a tad bit eerie about this place. Maybe it's the feeling like they're trying to be like their higher-end competitors but can't quite reach that distinction. Whatever it is, I could come here about once a year and be happy. This Kohl's location tends to suffer from poor customer service. There are a few outstanding employees, but they're rare to come by. This used to be my go-to store for clothes when I was thinner, but now that I'm plus-size, I'm completely astonished by their lack of selection for plus-size clothing. Either it's really ugly and over priced, or nothing is even available. It's very frustrating being a fat person and basically having your size erased at a store designed for clothes for all people. It's just... ugh. I still go to Kohl's though because you can't beat their deals on bras and I'm able to buy my favorite brand of bra a lot cheaper here than I can at other department stores in the area. read more

Customer service was cheerful, which I find to typically be the case at the stores (although not through the phone service). Has a better stocked maternity section than Dublin. I wouldn't buy anything full price here; if it's not on sale, or you don't have a coupon, skip it. The quality is variable, the shorts I bought had a hole in the pocket seam in the first 10 minutes of wearing. Back to Kohls they went. However, for relatively cheap clothes, sometimes good quality, and sometimes fashionable, it's not bad. And they have a small maternity department, which is more than Macys or Nordstrom can say, so I was able to get some pants here that I desperately needed. Typical Kohl's experience, except for this location always has items out of stock. Same set up as most of the stores in the chain, and I have had some pretty good customer service issues. My big problem with this location is they never have what i want. A good example is I saw an ad for some sandals, when i got to the store they only had 1, and it was the wrong size. I can't take my son here for shoes, they are always out of sizes and I was done with dealing with him getting upset over not being able to get what he wants. I just take him to jcpenny's in Antioch for shoes. Typical kohl's experience. Out of stock frequently and slowwww checkouts. I always have trouble with items out of stock that are advertised. The checkouts are way slow because they always push their kohl's card, and god forbid someone says yes, it takes them 10 minutes to do the paperwork. Frustrating. read more

Have you ever heard that commercial on the radio about the no hassle return policy, "Not at Kohl's." It's kind of annoying and gets plenty of air time. Yeah. That commercial is true. I got a pair of Simply Vera by Vera Wang wedges here the other day -- in fact, my mom bought them for me -- and they turned out to be already worn. Distraught because I thought I was stuck with these already-worn shoes, Johanna N. reminded me of that god-awful commercial. I went to Kohl's with shoes in hand, but no receipt. I got an even exchange and it was seriously hassleless. I was in and out within 5 minutes. There wasn't any harassment from the employees, nor did I once have to take out my ID. It was one of the best customer experiences of my life, no joke. Because of this amazing customer service and Kohl's credo, I will definitely be a customer for times to come. Their clothes aren't top notch -- I mean, they are exceptionally cheap and hunting for such great buys can be such a thrill ride -- but their clothes last about a season before you are ready to donate. Some pieces, like sweaters, last a little longer through the season, wear and tear, as well as laundry, but the duration of the clothing is relatively short-lived. I don't have any qualms with this because the longevity of the clothes is about the longevity of the trend. This Kohl's is the recipient of old Mervyn's customers, and those dissuaded by JC Penny down the street. Their brands are perfect for the money conscious, and I have found that their clothing is VERY appropriate for college grads or anyone starting a new job. They have various departments and mega clearance racks. This store in particular could get messy -- however, I don't see that as a problem that falls on the store/management/employee's lap, rather, it is the customer that is negligent and lazy, and makes the store dirty. While Kohl's could hire a few more employees to keep with the holiday demand, I think they are doing the best they can with the man power they have got. The thing that keeps me coming back to Kohl's is the Kohl's cash, that *is* combinable with other coupons!. I love applying those little buggers to already cheap shit, thus making it cheaper. There's power hours and stuff that make stuff even cheaper, and plenty of parking. read more

Lot's of reasonably priced items but the size selection is often poor and yesterday we drove all the way over to get a pair of vans. We were told they had our son's size but the guy was lazy and didn't give us the correct information. He didn't even want to check for us at all when we first called. Generally we can't find anyone in the isles to help you with customer service, just people ringing up at the front. I think Kohls will have to try hard to avoid becoming another Mervyn's/Kmart/JC Penny and try to be a bit more like Macy's if they want to success in this online environment. Just had an AWFUL experience at Kohls yesterday- I tried to return an item that my son received for his birthday and it turns out the gift receipt that was attached was for a different item. No big deal I thought, the sticker with the Kohls logo and the item numbers was still attached. The Kohls employee (who was overwhelmed by the way, there never seems to be enough staff on hand in this location) told me that I could either exhange the item for a different toy (and it can ONLY be a toy, it couldn't be a different department item) at the same price ($36.99) or get a store credit of $14. WHAT? Fine. I tried to select two different toys that were comparable in price. One was $39.99 and one was $28.99. I brought them both to her and asked if I could just exhange the higher priced one and pay the difference or, if it's easier, if I can just exchange the lower priced one and nevermind the difference in change. NO. THE ITEM MUST BE THE EXACT SAME PRICING. I asked her How am I supposed to exchange the toy when they literally do not even Offer a toy that is exactly $39.99? She only said sorry and told me I could check out a different Kohls. I was so irritated and did not have time for such a stupid policy that I just took the $14 store credit and left. I don't understand why their policy is so restrictive. Target, JC Penney, Macys, etc have much easier policies for Return items and it is far less of a hassle. This was the most annoying return that I've ever had to do and they've definitely lost a customer here. read more
