I've been shopping this DSW for years. I think today is the day that I've decided I will no longer be shopping at DSW. I went there looking for a running shoe. It says that I have to ask an associate for the right pair which is fine but asking the associate was being told to go downstairs to get the right pair so that means I have to go downstairs stand in line ask for the right shoe just so I can try it on to see if it fits. I don't know about most people, but typically you need to try on a couple pairs of shoes walking up and down those stairs just to get the second pair doesn't make any sense to me. I walked out immediately. The savings are about $10. I think I'll spend the extra $10 for the convenience at the mall or online. read more

Xandra was super helpful in helping us out!!! I was trying to find a gift for someone and we were able to find a pair of comfortable and stylish shoes to our liking and budget. The clearance area was worth a check, but I was disappointed to notice that the boxes weren't presentable due to the lids being cut through or raggedy, and some shoes even had scratches on them. I guess it's expected but even with clearance pricing, some shoes with the quality seem priced higher than they should. So do keep in mind! I think it's great if you want to keep the pair of shoes for yourself rather than to gift for sure. Buying from the regular merchandise section has organized and proper boxes by the way, so no problem with those - no public restrooms - unfortunately usually the sizes you see are all they have, but always worth to ask and see if they have any more in the back read more

Made a drive out here on a Thursday evening, luckily I was able to get along the traffic as I came from across the other side of the SFV but nonetheless, I made it. Upon arrival, the store itself was not packed and not crowded. I had an online order to pick up from here so I stood in the regular line and waited for someone to assist me. Staff were ok; a bit on the dry side, I didn't feel they made the experience any better. The process went well, they asked for my name and then handed me my shoes. I tried them on while still in the store, so as to avoid a trip if they didn't work out, but to my surprise, they fit just right so I went home happy! The adorable chunky loafers that I bought today were also on sale on the website so the value and comfort for these shoes was satisfying! I had been to this location, they searched up the shoe that I needed charge me for expedited delivery and then never delivered it. When I called, they said I could pick it up at one of the other stores, but could not confirm that the store had it. Nothing but terrible guest service along the way. read more

Returned a pair of boots I ordered online. This location is very clean and the employees are very friendly. It's very easy to return online orders at any DSW. My credit went right back onto my credit card. They didn't need to see my card and they now email your receipt. Great way to save a tree! They also offer a $5 coupon upon your return to use in the store "that day only." I found this DSW location to be solid. I was pleased to be greeted by a couple of employees who checked-in and asked if I needed help. They have a wide variety of shoe types, but not always sizes. The sale section was pretty good, but not super large. I love that they have lots of kids shoes to choose from. There tend to be some good sales, but they are the same as the ones online, so nothing super special. Sometimes you can really find a gem in the sale section, depending on the % off stickers. Overall, you might be better shopping online to make sure they have your size, but they can also order the shoes for you in store to be shipped to you. The store was clean and organized which I appreciated. I can't stand when people leave shoe boxes everywhere! Kudos to the staff for keeping the floor together. I always like coming to DSW to browse different styles and get inspired for different looks. I used to LOVE DSW but my experience today was crazy. I walked into the store and there were 4 people standing there which is understandable because they were greeting people. I go upstairs and my husband and I are looking at shoes and here comes two sales reps asking if I need help. I said no thank you. I'm on my way out and stopped to try on shoes here comes the same older sales associate again. I say I don't need help thank you and she throws her hands up like I offended her! Maybe this store has a good assortment, but some employees do not do their job. Will I come back here and advertise to my friends? Never! At 12:30 there will be 2 customers including me and the cashier instead of checking the size for me stuck her personal cell phone right in front of me. When I asked, she said that until I bring the box she can't help me, although I already had the barcode of these shoes in my account. Came over here with my client on a Wednesday afternoon. Less people. The aisles are almost empty. My client was able to find 2 sandals that she liked and purchased them. The staff are wearing masks and social distancing is enforced, we feel secure that our health and safety is being prioritized. Lots of free parking. Restroom for the women is open. This store has nothing but garbage/past season/super ugly color combination shoes for ridiculously high prices and their coupons exclude %95 of their entire inventory (and even then are often times more expensive than ordering directly from the brand). Staff/employees look miserable and come off rude. This store thrives off oblivious uninformed shoppers that don't know how to shop elsewhere. read more

Don't ask me what's going on at the Northridge DSW location (poor selection, messy aisles, always busy and a bit crowded at the front) but we've started going to this location more and it's worth it. We find what we like and what we'll wear for a good price. Not very busy when we go and not as hectic. Seems much more properly staffed. read more

My daughter and I have shopped here a few times when we were in need of a couple of new pairs of Nike sneakers and/or Adidas slides. I'd like to think we got them at a good deal being that we always try to make purchases in pairs when shopping with them, otherwise it doesn't seem to be worth it. I haven't been to many of their branches, but I tend to like this branch because it seems pretty spacious between the two floors. I also don't seem to have any problems ever finding any parking with their open lot. I ordered a pair of shoes and had been waiting for them to be delivered for sometime. I reached out to DSW online chat and was told they were ready for pickup. I checked the stores hours on Yelp and it said the store closed at 9:00. I drove to the store and arrived a little after 8:00. To my surprise the store was closed. The hours posted in the store window said it closed at 8. I called the store and was lucky to get Kelly. She explained the hours were incorrect on Yelp. I bought some great comfortable shoes for a fraction of the price. This outlet store has great variety of brand selection on sandals, boots, tennis shoes and flip flops. Their VIP membership it's free and once you shop at the store they send you birth discounts, additional discounts coupons or clearance. They also have Aldo handbags, socks, spandex and other accessories. As far as their costumer service they have great employees helping and have a friendly environment. Came today because I needed some new work shoes, and a black pair of tennis shoes. Thus place is huge and 2 stories. I could have really went crazy, but settled on a couple pairs. I was asked if i needed help, so I asked about getting another pair of NB running shoes, like the ones I had on. They didn't carry them, but found some comfy Adidas ones instead. Got a pair of Anne Klein shoes for work too. I spent about 30 mins here, and like it much better than Northridge, so I will continue to come to this location. Parking is easy too! read more

It's a big store. Prices are high, but they do offer quality in return. Some of the shoes here are really beautiful. Can't say service was something to remember, I got 2 new pairs. Cost me about $240 for both. Not the cheapest, but totally worth it. After today's visit I can say that I will come back here. This DSW recently opened, having moved from about a mile or so away. They took over a former Borders Bookstore, so the layout is different from other DSWs I've been to. Once you get a sense of how the place is situated, and there are friendly employees to help with that, it's pretty easy. Downstairs is bags, accessories and ladies' shoes. Upstairs is more ladies' shoes, including athletic and clearance, and men's shoes. As always, there's at least one good find, and often a good number of them. Sometime your size is out, but they're very willing to call other locations to see if they have it. Easy parking, easy shopping, and friendly employees. There's no reason not to go here! read more

On my last visit, I found my daughter some really cute Steve Madden patent flats that came in all sorts of colors. They were so cute! She got red and black.
