I always stop in their store maybe 2 to 3 times a month the store seems pretty clean most of the time the employees will help you if you can chase them down the biggest problem I have is their shoe styles rarely change they don't get anything in New I can go in there for months and months at a time and nothing changes the same brands the same styles you might see one or two different styles that's it prices are so so I would say they're more on the expensive side limited shoe sizes under the displays. I always see advertisements on the internet for new shoe styles from DSW you can order them online but they're not in the stores read more

Not DAD friendly. Seriously, it's 2023, why is there no baby changing table in the men's restroom? I was forced to change my child's diaper with him laying on the dirty floor. Luckily, I had a a pad to lay down first, but what about the fathers that don't? I was told by the manager that the women's restroom DOES have a changing table. So should I never leave the house without his mother, or ask a female stranger to take him in and change him? You tell me. DSW, do better. read more

Every single time I come to The W Nail Bar to get my nails done I try my absolute hardest to avoid the bathroom because it is sick... worse than a gas station bathroom. Smells of urine, is FILTHY, nothing is stocked. God it smells soo bad I want to gag. Easton and Polaris are tolerable but this is way worse than those. Total CHEAT! I swear I will never purchase from DSW anymore! I was totally dissapointed and cheated by DSW Columbus, Ohio. Went to their website for my Timberland shoe online purchase during the black friday sale because of the free weekender bag offer. I was entitled for the offer and received the email from DSW for my order confirmation as 1pair of Timberland boots and 1pc of weekender bag, so I was happily check out and wait for my order to come. And guess what? In the end, I have only receive the shoes with no bag during my unboxing! So I call their customer service and after 1HOUR long, thanks HELL somebody pickup my call! When explain about the situation, the guy just said because no stock! What a stupid excuse you throw to me! Hellowww in the first place if no stock for your sale item, then don't include the item in my invoice, and why there is no notification at all to me? If I know about that, I might as well just buy direct from Timberland, as they have 30% off, which is better offer than DSW! Make me miss the good opportunity and I'm waiting like an idiot! What a stupid system that DSW have? Trying to be funny and no respect to the customer??? I thought doing a online order and picking up in the store will be convenient. When I received my purchases they did not fit. I walked into the store and proceeded with my request to exchange my shoes, to be told you need to find what you need ok understandable but with no indication or direction where to locate the shoes. Almost a hour later with little to or no assistance from the store associates my hunt for the correct shoes & sizes ended and the store manger Jaira came to the rescue. I honestly did not have the best experience with this location when I came it. It was basically a communication gap so I won't be too harsh here. When I ordered the shoes online, around $300 worth, I assumed some would be an issue, I was hoping all of them would fit, but I know me and I'm not that lucky. I was right. Before I got the the store I looked online and it said the location had the next size up that I needed. Well, wrong. I needed to give them back and do a return. This would be my first time doing this process. Instead of the young man walking me through what their process was for reordering online(me assuming just a straight even exchange), he just returned the shoes back to my card and said I'd have to buy them again. I think that with some communication, we could have returned them to store credit and I ordered them online to prevent a roughly $400 ($200 pending + $200 reorder charge) both sitting on my account. In the moment I was frustrated and I think that this is something should be talked through instead of just assuming people want to do something 1 way. This is a dangerous place for me. Yes, I repeat dangerous territory. I'm a shoe lover so DSW fits all my shoe lover requirements at times. At other times I have to resort to online shopping. Customer service is great here. They are always helpful when it comes to finding you the shoe you want, if it's not a the shelf they'll go to the back of the store to find extras.I have gotten many shoes from DSW from my first running shoes for competitions to the happy day of my wedding. DSW fits all my needs in life. Not just my life but my families life as well. My aunt loves shopping here when she visits us from Spain she purchases so many shoes to take back home because the quality is so much better than in Spain. My sister gets her shoes here as well as my mother. Why does DSW do so well? Well they take into consideration what the customer needs like quality customer service and the right shoe to make that customer satisfied. So they only use quality brands that they know customers will love like, PUMA, Nike, Nina (for special occasions), Sketchers, Asics, and the list goes on. The only reason sometimes I may not purchase something in store is due to the fact I had a sports injury which left my ankle sprained and swollen for a good amount of time. Therefore, some of the shoes are very tight for my ankle and I end up having to shop online or somewhere that accommodates to the wider fit, even though DSW does sell plenty of wide fit shoes. I just can't sometimes find that "right one" at the store. Plus doctors orders say to not re-sprain the foot with anything that may cause an injury. Example high heels DSW sells to ladies for special occasions. If your looking for a meca of shoes with endless options DSW is the place. If you can't find it in store the associates will be more than happy to help you order it online and delivered to your doorstep in no time. read more

My blue heaven! I LOOOVE DSW. Ok, my favorite is the back of the store. What can I say, I'm a bargain shopper. All good deals are in the back of the store. I bee-line past all the newest (not marked down) styles and head straight to the 8 1/2 row. So, most of what's back here is kind of dorky, and not really my style. But the cool thing about these shoes is that one's person's reject is another persons compliment. Back here, you could find lime green flats or a high heeled boot with silver studs. This is also the place to find end of the season leftovers. Now, you better not be caught dead wearing sandals in the winter, but if you have the storage space, it's a great new season treat for next year. Just choose a fairly conservative style. You know as well as I do that styles practically change every month. Pick the classics. The Sawmill DSW is my preference because it's connected to Filene's! How perfect is that? There are aisles and aisles of well-organized shoes here...what more can a consumer ask for? I really love this store now that Filene's is gone...sorry, it's true. It's more welcoming and cleaner and...I dunno I just love it. And the staff is extra extra nice. I don't remember that from the Filene's days. There are tons of shoe options for both men and women. I don't think I've seen kids shoes here. Then again, it's a huge store so perhaps they're hidden somewhere in a corner. There are also pursues, scarves, hosiery, and a massive clearance section. And the more you spend the more coupons you get. Watch out- once you buy into that system it's hard to get out. The one drawback is that the options in the store aren't always online. I have shopped at DSW stores all over the country. My fave thing about DSW besides all of those shoes? The coupon policy! Expired? No problem! And, up to three at a time! Sweet! Was in a DSW in Bethesda,MD a week before I visited this location and scored an awesome pair of Nikes and Tevas. All three of my coupons were accepted, even though two were way expired. The shoe dropped at this location. A mere week after my shoe score in MD, I was informed at this location that DSW stores no longer accept expired coupons! DSW, this is a bad decision. When we save more, we buy more. Your prices have risen steadily and noticeably over the last few years, while your clearance area and sale items have declined. Birthday certs were always $10, now they are $5. Without your great coupon policy, I might as well shoe shop at department stores. Please reconsider... I walked into this store on Tues 10/16 to find shoes for a wedding. Several people referred me to this store. I was very disappointed in the choice of women's dress shoes. The one pair I liked and thought was comfortable was of course not available in my size. The sales person convinced me to place an order for a similar pair of shoes that is available only on line. I was told that the shoes would be delivered in 4 days and shipped to me. After day 5 I called and was told that now I wouldn't be receiving my shoes until 10/26, 10 days after placing the order. I was told that this info was on my shipping confirmation which I didn't receive because the sales associate didn't copy it down correctly. When I called DSW they told me there was nothing they could do and the sales associate should have told me it would take this long. Very poor customer service from the sales associate to the customer care specialist on the phone who basically just laughed at the fact that I wouldn't have these shoes when I needed them. Have to post an amazing story of DSW. Everyone always tells the bad stories so since DSW did a really good deed I thought it necessary to post a good company's efforts. So DSW had an ad for a free wrap with the purchase of two pairs of shoes (and free shipping by the way) for the Thanksgiving day weekend. The ad did say while supplies last, however I ordered the shoes at 9:30 Thanksgiving morning. So when in the middle of my ordering the site advised the free gift was gone I was thinking how could it be for the holiday weekend if it were gone so quick. The following week I contacted DSW and the first person I spoke with was very unhelpful and not really concerned with keeping me as a customer. So I went the further step and contacted the corporate office. They were EXCEPTIONALLY concerned with the treatment I received. Not only did they understand that I received unacceptable treatment but understood the reason for my issues (which was if the item was sold out on Thur. night or Sat I wouldn't have been upset but at 9:30 am the day of the sale didn't make sense) and indicated going forward they would review their advertising in conjunction with their supplies. And as a bonus for my reaching out to them they contacted several stores and found one of the wraps to ship to me. That is a company that listens to its customers and one I will frequent.
