I put the pants in my closet pleased I found a pair for a specila occasion on Weds the 15th. Reached into the closet for those pants and discovered the ink security tag was still on them! I was furious! I get mistakes happen, but darn it!! I just hung up with Justin the Sales Manager (after getting bounced to two other departments) who sounded like he was 17 years old, had marbles in his mouth and a sinus infection as well. I explained what happened and he asked me to bring them back. I again stated I was 2 hours away from his store and an hour to the nearest Macys from my home. After a number of "ummms" he offered 25 Macys bucks for his store and that was the best he could do. I wasn't looking for anything outrageous - a gift card to compensate for my time and gas....no he couldn't do anything else. Not impressed with my first time at a Macy's - definately my last!!

I made an appointment here and honestly I had no expectations. I had gone somewhere else and as a…read moreplus size bride I was told wedding dresses were not made for fat people. At that appointment I had been mocked and made fun of. So I was extremely nervous and afraid to go dress shopping again. I had found a few dresses that I LOVED, but was very hesitant to try them on. I had no clue what size I was or what would work for me. I had ideas, but needed guidance. I made an appointment at the David's Bridal in Erie, PA so I could share this moment with my Nana when we came into town to visit. I was reluctant I'd find anything or be met with friendly consultants, again going back to my bad experience somewhere else, I was afraid. From scheduling my appointment to the day of I was met with AMAZING communication, confirmation emails, a phone call the day before and a reminder text the morning of my appointment. I LOVED how I was always reminded of my appointment!! I was also able to ask questions and was met with a friendly staff member, unfortunately I can't remember her name. Day of I went in, reluctantly still..but a little more hopeful. I was greeted by the staff with open arms and smiling faces! I was checked in, told her about some of my ideas then showed her a dress I had fallen in love with. Which they had on rack!!! I met with my bridal consultant that I would be working with, Erin. She was AMAZING!!! Amazing actually is an understatement!! I told her what I liked about each dress, showed her my dream dress and then we picked out some others as well that all had my vision in some sort of way. I liked some, LOVED another and then I fell head over heels for the dress I had wanted. Erin went above and beyond to make me feel beautiful and comfortable in my own skin. She even paired a head piece with the dress which I fell in love with!! She did try and upsell me and she was so polite and tasteful with it and accepted when I said no without being overly pushy like other sales reps other places. I didn't feel like I wasn't worthy of being in a wedding dress due to my size and finally just felt like a person. I truly felt beautiful in each dress but even more so in the one I walked in wanting. I said "Yes" to my dream dress and couldn't have been happier!! This location rocks!!! Each person in here was warm and welcoming!! Thank you so so much for making me feel at ease and like a Bride! It's the FIRST time in the 6 months of being engaged that I felt like a bride to be! Erin, you rock and I am forever grateful for all you did for me!

Lately when I when to the store they said they could not see all or part of my coupons. I believe that's false. Maybe the business isn't doing as well as online. When you purchase in the store they will never tell you, you have coupons available. Last time I went in the store I told the cashier how I felt. Then the manager asked me some nosy questions that she had no business asking me. She asked me if I had the day off. Did I ever tell you that I work? Manage your employee! Just have to mention: just started couponing and reas horror stories about cashiers at family…read moredollar stores.Nervous about using so many and getting embarrassed by rejections or holding up lines.We have multiple store here and most have very nice cashiers but decided to go to E. 38th street location because the manager is always especially nice.Was a different girl there so wasnt sure how it was gonna go.Not only was she helpful but she actually gave me extra savings on top of what I expected. I asked her how she could do that and she said not to worry, the company will reimburse them.My coupons even got stacked! She said her boss asks her everyday, "are you going home happy?" So she said if the customer is happy I am happy!" A big thank you for "Sherry" for making my shopping an exceptional experience! I think 90 percent of most dollar/convenience store should have mandatory "how to treat a customer" classes.Everytime you go into a store all you get are rude cashiers who dont acknowledge you, rude, talking to other employees while waiting on you or just plain incompetent! I will do all of my shopping I can from here now on. PS way cheaper than dollar general, even with coupons.
