DSW remains a regular destination for me when I'm in need for a pair of shoes ... or not. Most aisles are dedicated to women's styles, including sandals, heels, wedges, booties, flats and athletics. They do have a limited selection for men and children. Clearance is always available and is located in the back of the store. If you are a Converse fan, you'll find several color options here as well as their socks. I noticed socks for a few brands, which is nice to have for their cut of shoes. Near the counter you'll find lots of accessories like laces, shoe polish, waterproofing and other travel accessories. I enjoy looking here for the items I didn't know I needed but immediately find useful. My last few trips to DSW have been more lackluster. While basics are important I have loved coming here for more unique shoes, but I haven't spotted a variety of styles in a long while. I'll keep hunting though, at the store and online! read more

For the men's section. My shoe size is typically 9.5 Wide, with exception of a few regular 9.5 or 10. They do have a decent product selection. However, their size selection is absolutely sucks! I needed a pair of casual dress shoes (forgot mine at home) and headed to DSW on my way to event. I found quite a few that were appropriate, but couldn't find any in my size! i couldn't even find a size that "work out in a pinch." After almost 10 pair of striking out, I gave up and ended up wearing my sneakers with a suite. Guys, shop online or go somewhere else. Most of their limited stock was of size 8 or over 12. read more

Love it here! I only make a few visits here a year to find either sandals or boots. I've found plenty of things here. The sale section has great deals, but I'm often out of luck. I wear a size 7 or 7.5 and those seem to go fast. I've found sandals for $3 once! Still have them. Service is great here though! I had two $5 coupons to spend before the end of the year, but didn't have any pressing fashion accessory needs, so wandered in to see if there were some leg warmers to pique my interest (and offer an added bit of warmth to any ensemble). They had only one thing that fits in that category, but I found something that may serve the same purpose after some modifications. Wonderfully, with my two coupons, I only paid 52¢ for my purchase! Not bad! The store was organized similar to other DSWs, so it was easy to maneuver. I was concerned about the young ladies working there on Xmas Eve though- they all seemed VERY stressed out by smallest challenges and couldn't agree on store policies. I would recommend that DSW work on something though, because this happens at every DSW I have gone to, and this visit was no different: Multiple employees behind the registers, only one employee is cashiering, NONE of the employees acknowledges the growing line of people who would like to purchase items. There were three employees behind the register today, one of them was working the register with a customer, but the other two acted like the line of customers didn't exist! I would suggest at least looking at the people in line, saying you are working on another matter, but the other employee will be with you in a moment. read more

Bad experience. I went in and found a pair i liked and turns out they didn't have the match in the box. the front desk lady called her superior and pretty much talked bad about me and my boyfriend in front of our faces. Then continued to lie on the phone. Then when checking out for another pair of shoes they asked way too much card information and i asked them why and they did not give an answer. That night i got a call saying my card had fraud charges on it. Do not trust this place. read more

Shoe shopping- a wonderful thing. At least it is when you can find your size in a beautiful shoe on clearance. Do you need shoes? Because this place has shoes. They have plenty to choose from and their regular priced shoes area are normally pretty well organized but the floor normally has a lot of scraps and bits of trash on hen I have stopped in, probably from the inside of the shoe boxes.. The clearance/sale area is normally a bit of mess too. But still, I prefer DSY to Ross or other show places like it. read more

DSW...as a shoe junky who wouldn't like to shop at a warehouse full of shoes? Honestly it can be a little bit overwhelming even for the avid shoe lover...however if you have a certain shoe in mind or need a place to stop where you are assured you will find something compatible to what you are looking for then DSW has your name written all over it! Their floor is stocked with the latest fashionable shoes and also practical ones...their clearance racks don't sleep on you either...something is always hidden there that is a nice find! DSW has got to be every woman's dream come true. Really what more could you want in a shoe store than massive selection, current styles, and reasonable prices? I went in on Saturday looking for closed toed black heels for work. Given the fact that I was looking for a "boring" shoe I expected limited selection. I was totally wrong DSW had at least 10 different closed toed black heels to choose from and I felt quite sexy in the ones I chose. They were also so reasonably priced that I also picked up a pair of ballet slipper style flats. Both pairs together rang up at under $100. One star because of the CONDESCENDING treatment I received by the "manager". I went in to use my (little)$5.00 coupon. I ended up fi ding 2 pairs of shoes- that I didn't need jyst buying. I got to the register and was told my coupon expired that day. Ok fair enough, I misread the date. I stated, "This was an impulse purchase that I'm (over buying) to use the coupon. I don't want to buy them if i can't use the coupon, but thank you", I wasn't angry it was MY mistake. The cashier called over the manager who came to the register and Chastised me by saying, "we don't normally do this -you let the coupon expire and I could get in Big trouble for doing this, so don't ask again, I am giving you the $5.00 off ". #1 -I didn't ask for that. After my purchase a $5.00 coupon was PUT into my bag of shoes off my next purchase!!!! Then the next day on my phone I received an email, "you didn't use your coupon-- extended expiration date"!!
