I recently visited this location after shopping online, using my VIP discount code for a clearance pair of sorbet orange Adidas Cloud Foam Ozelle's. I love Adidas and needed a new fitness shoe to compliment my adidas wardrobe. The Ozelle is similar to a balenciaga style sneaker that offers cushion with cloud foam that is trendy, retro, colorful, supportive and lightweight. The original price is over $60 and I purchased them on clearance for $29. When I visited the store I saw the same shoe for $45. Shop online for the best prices available and pick up in-store. The cashier was very helpful and ready to check me out. I perused the sales floor and saw many styles that were overpriced and way out of budget for the brand. Poor customer service on multiple visits. No acknowledgment from staff outside of them telling you they're closing in 10 minutes. I spent a significant amount of time in the store and made eye contact with several staff members. It wasn't until it became closer to closing that one staff walked over to me to let me know that they would be closing in 10 minutes. How rude?! "No, hello. Let me know if I can help with anything." The staff here interact with each other and never the customers. I took my money to Dick's next door. Two stars for the clean and organized store, which is the only positive here. read more

Upon entering, there is row after row after row of shoes - but where are the men's shoes? There are a couple rows for the men off to the left hand side of the store, otherwise, this place is mostly geared towards serving the non-males. I was able to find a couple pairs of shoes that suited my needs for travel and got them paid for. Not really any service on the floor, and the line to get through the checkout was pretty slow. Average store - we made the drive over to get a specific shoe. The shoe was in stock but many others that we were interested in were out of very common sizes. Left with one pair of shoes, no more. Employees were friendly and added us to the DSW shoe reward program. Store itself was very clean, organized and well-lit. Today I remembered why I don't shop at DSW. Only reason I went is that my son was looking for something. Dicks sporting goods didn't have them. I found cute Ugg slippers, but just one . So I asked a sales associate where would the other be? OMG this girl had absolutely no sales associate etiquette. As I'm speaking to her she's walking as she moving around shelves. Not even a glance and proper human to human convo as she mumbled something I asked her do you have it? She said someone might just needed one. WTH kind of answer is that? I left the box there and headed out the door, but as I was leaving there was an associate on her personal phone on personal call and not to my surprise another 2 associates standing behind the cash register. My point is there where plenty of not to busy associates to help me find the slipper. read more

A great shoe store with a variety of options for everyone in your family. When I go, my first stop is always along the back wall which is where they have their clearance items. Every now and then I am able to get a couple of good finds which is always a great thing! They have a number of shoes on sale on the floor. If I am looking for something specific, DSW is usually my first stop because they have an extensive selection of shoes and I am usually able to find what it is that I need. They usually keep a good variety is sizes which is important to me since I wear an 11 in women's. read more

Came in to do an online return & there were two associates at the registers, so I was able to walk right up & return my shoes. Lindsey was very helpful & efficient. I was in & out in less than five minutes. The store is huge & from what I could see, plenty of shoes to choose from. On this particular gorgeous Sunday, plenty of folks were there shopping. Prices are great & they have all the latest styles & the "it" designer brands. Easy return/exchange policy. This location is tucked away near Triangle Town Center mall. They have a pretty good selection and typically they have a lot of sizes in stock. My only issue is that cashiers don't seem to be very knowledgeable about the coupons. They should really familiarize themselves with the available coupons. I was told that I could not use a coupon, when in reality, I could. I was initially told that it could only be used online. Overall I had a good experience, but sometimes it can be nerve-racking when the associates are not familiar with the current sales and specials. read more

I love this store. The sales racks are amazing. I bought a pair of Cole Haan wing tips regularly $230 for $80. There is a great selection on the floor and if you can't find your sizes you can order it. The staff is available, but does not hover. The store is clean and well stocked. MAD.... I bought a pair of Adidas Neo at this store a month ago but I needed to have it exchanged for a bigger size. Anyhow I brought it in and they told me that I "have to" pay $5.33 different for the same shoe but different size (notice: I just want an exchange from size 6 1/2 to 7). I asked them why? Why do I have to pay another $5.33 and they told me that because when I bought this pair of shoes they were $5 cheaper than it is now and because it's so popular now that's why they went up price. Wth?? I didn't want to buy another pair. I just want to "EXCHANGE" omggg I'm so pissed. Friendly service and wide open aisles with good lighting and lots of seating areas with mirrors to help with your decisions. I do agree that the prices aren't really low, but the selection is fantastic. Their prices compare to department stores, but the "self serve" method is much better than having to wait for a sales person to go in the back, search for your shoes, and then return, with that sad look on their face, letting you know they don't have your size. Here, if you find a shoe you like, you know right away if they have it in your size or not. Their clearance section is very large too, and organized by size, so it easy to view all shoes in your size. The store is huge, clean, and organized, and the staff is friendly. They also have a large selection of handbags, hats, scarves, etc. Whenever I need new shoes, whether it be heels, flops, docksiders, or boots, DSW is always my first stop. read more

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! I ordered 2 pair of shoes online for a total of $99. They immediately put through a hold of $99 on my account which was fine. BUT 2 days later when they shipped the shoes they put through a charge for $99 so now they are holding $199. Of my money and I do not even have both pair of shoes. When I called about it and spoke with a supervisor I was told that the authorization would drop off in 3-5 days. No apology, did not even care. That's bad business if you ask me. I think this DSW should talk with the DSW in Chapel HIll. This location had a better selection of shoes and styles. I am in the market for athletic shoes and this location had a better selection of running shoes in really good prices. Also, it's boot season and I love it! DSW usually has a great selection of boots and this location had some nice styles. I like the store and the shoe selection but some of the staff are really rude. I ordered shoes online along with a free tote and yoga mat with qualified purchase. It turns out the pairs I ordered were both really uncomfortable so I returned them and offered to give back the free gift. The cashier doing my return told me not to worry about it but then laughed at me and said a criticizing comment to me for only ending up the free gift. I buy shoes all the time from DSW and even walked out of the store today buying some. If staff are going to think you are playing the system by letting you keep free gifts after returns and then criticize you for it in front of lots of other shoe lovers when the shoes genuinely didn't fit, then next time I'll start looking for shoes somewhere else. It's really unfortunate because they really do have great prices and incentives for loyal customers but I'll be happy to let DSW keep the drama and their shoes the next time. read more
