Amazing Service by the staff at this location, clean , friendly and Manager was very helpful

I've been to this particular DSW a few times, so I was surprised that I didn't have a review from a previous visit. Lately, I haven't been very successful finding shoes at this company. I usually go to their store in Coconut Creek at the Promenade, but we were nearby, and I decided to see if they had any different stock here. Just a note: If the guys in your family are coming here and looking for shoes, as well, it seems that there are less and less men's shoes here -- in both stores -- as the men's sections is getting smaller and smaller. I did the usual tour of all the aisles and also the clearance racks. I'm on their loyalty program from the time the warehouses opened in Florida and for the last couple years, I haven't really been able to take advantage of most of their sales or discounts. It is strange to WANT to give them money, but there's nothing that appeals or fits. Either they don't have my size in something I like, or they don't have what I like at all. In any case, I had previously purchased a pair of flats at another DSW and was hoping to buy another one just like it. The brand is their own, but they had no sandals like this at all in this store. I even went online afterwards -- following a staffer's suggestion -- but they don't have them there either. I'll keep trying now and then as I know their stock changes; However, soon they will be having most of their fall closed shoes for sale -- which here in Florida we don't need as much. read more

The store has really went downhill in the last few years I'm assuming because I haven't been there in a while. I wear a size 11 size 11 they used to have a bright yellow sticker on the end of the box because it's a very odd size so there's no use for you to go and look at every shoe Because not all manufacturers make a size 11. There were so many people there with their dogs that it was hard to walk up and down an aisle with the woman trying on shoes and her big golden retriever laying next to her, another aisle a lady had a little Ankle biter sized dog and had it on one of those retractable leashes and the dog was about 10 feet away from her. None of these dogs were service dogs. I wound up buying two pairs of ankle socks. When I said something to the woman at the counter about size 11 used to have stickers she said they're still supposed to. I wanted a strap type of step in heel with a low heel, something casual, every day, type of heel, but they didn't have any that I could find either in my size. Maybe because it's a chain and it's winter they did have a lot of boots. I was able to find shoes that I was looking for online but I have to buy three or four pair to try them on and then send them back which is time-consuming. Jeff the store manager is extremely unprofessional, rude and miserable. He should not be at the register tending to guests. I will never come back to the store. I am going to another DSW to return the items I just bought. I will not contribute to a company that hires Nasty Rude individuals. He's obviously extremely unhappy with his position and that reflects in the way he interacts with customers. Businesses are surviving on relationships and as far as I'm concerned, he just gave me an extremely bad taste in my mouth for DSW and what they represent. read more

DSW has it all when it comes to shoes. No point even going anywhere else. They do have a larger selection online like most places usually go. The higher end stuff that I didn't realize they had, is on there website. I would check it out if you are looking for a nicer brand. I couldn't believe all the shoes the women's section had. I honestly try and always find the best deals when shopping. The prices are pretty high even in the sale section. A $100 pair of heels with 30% is still pretty high. Maybe I think that paying that kind of price, I would end up in Nordstrom and not a store located in an Outlet mall. Over all, I do have my dream list. read more

So came in for only ONE pair of shoes and literally walked out with 3. Sales... I need to attend AA meetings for shoe addicts!!!! Hahaha.... I can't get enough. Only advice is for store manager is to put garbage containers in the aisles so when trying on shoes the papers could be thrown out. One of my favorite stores. Staff wears a mask. Zero Stars for customer service. I called to check on the availability of a style/size. Before I could say "black high-top" he cut me off and yelled at me, "SWEETIE I HAVE LIKE 15 DIFFERENT CONVERSE". I don't understand why he couldn't just let me finish my sentence. Disgusting service. Additionally, I bought a pair of heels, a size 9 box, and size 9 stickers on the bottom. After one day of painfully wearing them, I realized the size 9 stickers were placed there to cover up the true size, 8.5. Not able to return. BBB. read more

We came in during the phase 1 opening part of the pandemic and the staff could not have been nicer. We were greeted at the door and told of the changes. They have arrows showing you which way to go in the aisles and there are new try on areas. If you don't want the shoe you try on you just leave it on the table there so the staff can wipe it down and put it away. Everyone wore masks and I felt very safe in the store. The cashier area and credit card machine are wiped down after every shoe lover leaves. read more

Literally the worst service ever. I waited 20 minutes in line to buy ONE pair of shoes as they were having an issue with a customer. Move the customer to the side and help your other customers!!! Then "Joe" finally decided to check me out.. as he sat there and called me "angry". HOW RUDE! Never again will I step foot in here. Absolutely ridiculous! read more

If I could give zero stars I would! I worked a 13 hour shift and flew over after work for my pick up order. I had plenty of time before they closed. I arrived at 7:45 and they closed at 8pm. Doors were locked. Not only were they locked but there was a man in there that looked directly at me knocking on the door and BLATANTLY ignored me. He then walked up to a woman they both clearly saw and heard me and they just slowly walked to the back. I'm furious. I've been a customer of DSW for YEARS. NEVER again after this!!!! Unbelievably poor customer service skills. Disgusting to look at someone and act like they don't exist when all you're trying to do is pick up something you've already paid for! I called and someone named Erin told me that "the system was down". LIES! I don't believe it for a second. And if it was true why couldn't you have come to the door to take a second to tell me???? Just bought boots on clearance and loved the easy way all the shoes are self serve. They had lots of offerings in my common size of 7. What I purchased was a clearance boogie which is so cute but a half size smaller than what I usually wear. Wearing them at home I soon realized that they were too tight. When I took them back to exchange, they were easily exchanged and the needed size was ordered online by a helpful sales person which would be delivered in a few days!! And she applied the clearance price AND a coupon that was awarded based upon the original purchase. Excellent experience and exactly the shoe I needed delivered to my door! read more

Love this place for the DEALS. Customer service was not great. I had to FIND somebody to help me,and she made it seem like i was a bother.... lol they wouldn't let me use my birthday coupon so I'm not happy. If i was able to use my coupon and somebody helped me that wanted to, and would listen to my request would have given 5 stars. read more

I had to return a pair of shoes for my elderly mom even though it was past the official return window. The store manager, Lori, was extremely helpful, was very empathetic to our situation and refunded the purchase. She was not at all obligated to do this. It was just great customer service which was above and beyond what she needed to do. Then I spent an hour looking at the huge selection of shoes at this DSW and bought a pair. A great store! And thanks to Lori's help, I am now a loyal DSW customer! read more
