I went to Fit2run recently to get new shoes and was very satisfied with my purchase. Manny, specifically gave me a incredible customer experience. He was very knowledgeable on footwear/foot structure and gave me multiple options to try on based on their foot pressure-point scanner/videoed gait analysis. Manny took the time to go through the options of different styles of footwear specifically specialized for my foot style and helped assist me in finding the best shoes for me. I have been to other shoe stores where the workers have not been super helpful, but Manny clearly was dedicated to helping the customer and assisting them in finding the best option for them! read more

I needed to purchase shoes for work as I'll be standing for over 12 hours so I decided to stop by this store in the Wellington Mall. I had previously went to one shoe store in aventura but it didn't meet the high technology of Fit2Run. Upon arrival I was greeted by sales associate Sebastian, who listened to all my needs and assisted me with the foot scan. It will show you in 3D how your feet look and what support you'll need as well as populating some recommended shoes. After trying on several different brands, I opted to purchase the OnCloud Surfer Max and also got an insole. Long review short: We put a pair of shoes on order a month ago that were being shipped from Miami to this location and still haven't received any word about their arrival. I'm imagining it doesn't take that long to travel one county. It's a shame because the experience in the store was completely different, but this drastically changes how I view this store. Based on this, I would not recommend this location at least. You are better off going to Finish Line or any other run-of-the-mill sneaker store. read more

I had a good experience at this store. I went to this store yesterday after having visited their PBG location. My first impression was not good because I found the four associates were sitting on the counter behind the register chatting with each other and on their cellphones. I understand the store was empty but it just felt like I was bothering them. However, one sales associate named Andrew right away offered to help. I told him my needs and he had me step onto the foot scanner to help find out what shoes I need. Unfortunately, I didn't get to go on the treadmill because he said the camera is broken. But since I went to the Gardens location, I had an idea of what I was looking for. Andrew observed the way I walk and told me I don't have as much pronation I thought I had. He walked me over to the shoes section and he brought out like 4 pairs of shoes. After I tried them on, he brought couple more pairs. When those didn't work, he brought out more pairs. I wanted to find the perfect pair and Andrew was super patient and friendly while answering the many questions I had. In the end, we bought two pair of shoes, an exercise jacket, 4 pack of socks and the top of the line Aftershokz headset. Almost $500 bucks worth. I also signed up for the Fit2Run Club membership. Today I walked around Sawgrass Mall with my new shoes and very happy with this recommendation by Andrew. Great store... the staff is knowledgeable and so helpful! Gabriella helped us find the right shoes for my mom and dad! She had them stand on the plate to scan their feet and found them the best shoe options. We bought 2 pair of shoes and 2 pairs of insoles, We were in and out fast! I like them for 1 reason and 1 reason only. You join the club, and after a month of wearing them every day, if for ANY reason you are not happy they take the sneakers back. They do sell at 100% full retail which I usually shy away from, but the return policy keeps me going back. I have plantars fasciitis, and mortons neuroma so a good sneaker is important to keep me from pain. read more

I am not impressed. Although I was not thrilled with the best shoe they could fit me with, I agreed to purchase the shoes as I was told I could exchange them within 30 days. When I was dissatisfied I came to exchange them and was told they wouldn't exchange them as I wasn't a member - another $30. Non-members can only walk around indoors at home and exchange them - but not actually run in them. What a sham! I will not patronize them again. read more

First-timers beware, do your research before blindly walking into this running store and see which shoe is the one you really need. It was my first time looking for a real running shoe. I believe it was about a year ago or more when I came to this store. I did the running test on the treadmill and you could clearly see how my feet rolled over (over pronation). The sales guy brought out some of the shoes that I thought fit my "analysis". I picked out the one I liked the most and even though the price was steep I was willing to give it go. Along with the latest model of this shoe, I was recommended inserts for arch support and socks which I bought. Fast forward to now and I have all sorts of knee and foot problems. Through research, I found out the shoe I bought is not for over pronation and it was a Wide shoe and my feet are not wide. I feel cheated because I trusted the expertise of these people. More so I just love to be fit and healthy its not a chore for me its just my lifestyle and I F'in LOVE IT. Now being that I am a Professional Chef with a passion that forces me to care and understand about the needs and wants of my customers and clients I have the sense to know the levels of customer service and what it means to have awesome hospitality. Now with all that said I will move on to my review. I went to fit2run in the Wellington green mall for the first time about 5 months ago Because I needed a new running shoe. I spent 500.00 (shoes, garmin watch running tights)I went from vibram five fingers shoes to the new balance minimalist shoe to a move supported running shoe with more cushion. Then I realized I need to change my running style so I have been forefoot running for about 4 years now and I love it. But I could not find a shoe for my style damn near all the running shoes on the market i feel are designed totally wrong. No one should run heal toe. Its not natural and it will cause more injury and harm in the long run. Therefore when I went into the store I explained this to the young kid that did my assessment and I tried in about 4 shoes. None felt great the all were just ok or good enough. However I trusted his opinion and bought the shoes. One my first run My feet felt great in the beginning so as I get into my first mile Im saying to myself wow! This is a great shoe!!! Man! By the time I got to mile six I was upset and the next day my feel hurt soooo bad. Anyhow I went bAck out for a run a few day later. Same results. So being that IM part of the club i brought the shoe back and then tried Another shoe that the same young kid recommended. Same result. Sad-face. So at this point I said let me try another store so I went to Fit2run in MiAmi. Man!! What a difference. These guys are awesome service was stellar and they really understood my needs I was allowed ro run as fast and long as I wanted two on the treadmill. At the other store they only like me go at a slow jog. Which I knew wasn't going to give the right assessment but I went with it anyway. Now I have the Newton pop 2 this shoe is awesome I love it its designed for fore foot runners. Thank you so much Fit2run Miami!!! You guys f'in rock.!! started running in March, had terrible shin splints. Decided to try a new pair of sneakers in hopes it would help my shins. Had a lady begin to help me then had to go to lunch. All associates watched my running because I have a strange gate. Could not be happier with the shoes the man who helped me with! My shins are much better! Definitely would recommend! read more

I'm personally a running fanatic! It's an addiction to be honest! With that being said I am a complete shoe geek, I know all my shoes and their properties, for example I know that for Saucony shoes with the powergrid+ will have 20% more cushioning that normal powergrid, I know that Hokas will have either a late or early metarocker depending on which Hoka you get...Anyway I can go on and on but let me finish the review. I personally don't go to fit2run (Wellington) often only because I already own 7 pairs of running shoes and usually just buy them online, but every once in a while I would visit just to check out some new shoes that they have or to buy a shirt or socks that I need. But let me tell you! I've been in there enough times to meet a good majority of their staff and they ALWAYS greet me with a smile and ask if I need help on anything! The bestbpart is that they know their shoes too! They don't make some BS up or some lie to make you buy a shoe, they are very knowledgeable and overall good sales folk which I am very impressed by. The only reason why I am writing this is because I noticed a lot of bad reviews on how the employees are rude....Which was not how I felt at all! Most of the employees I was talking to are runners as well! Which is great because you develop a relationship with them. I didn't feel like "just another customer" I felt like a runner talking to another runner talking about what I love the most...Running! If anyone felt like the employees were rude, well then that's your fault, they were nice, made a laugh a good amount of times, and seemed caring. I guess you can say that I was testing them when I told them I was a neutral runner that wanted something light with still a good amount of cushioning, the recommended the Kinvara 6, Zealot, Pace, and Zante...Only two brands of shoes but still excellent choices. The only reason I would write a negative review if they were to offer me the Nike Frees 4.0 which is just a terrible shoe for any runner. I can tell that they want you in the right running shoes instead of just selling you the most expensive shoe or the most popular brand which is Nike. And if anyone felt that someone else should be fired because the shoes they recommended wasn't the right shoe for you, then you obviously don't know anything. All the employees can do is ask as many questions to fit you in the right shoe, that's why they put you on the treadmill, when I went there they asked if I was hurting any where which is an extremely important question to ask. But no matter how many questions you ask they are not mind readers, they don't know what feels comfortable on you or not, they don't know your pain tolerance, they can only research their shoes and recommend what's good for you. I've noticed that everyone has complete and polar opposite opinions on different shoes, so if you don't like a shoe well again that's just your fault. Never have my feet felt as good as they do now after my visit to this store. To make sure I received the correct shoe, they even offered me the club membership. The staff seems to be solely college kids who, while pleasant enough, do not seem to have the desire to provide customer service, nor do they seem to possess the wisdom and experience of seasoned runners. The staff here is nearly impossible to locate when you're in the store and they are very unhelpful. I asked several basic questions about running shoes they had and it was like pulling teeth. Amazing experience! Karen and Brenda were committed to making sure I walked out of the store with the best shoe for my running needs. They are even special ordering a shoe for me to try that would work better for me. In the meantime, they encouraged me to keep the shoes I want to exchange and keep running in them to see if I adjust to the different style. The level of customer service here far surpasses any other store I have been to. Moreover, the selection is amazing. I recently made my first purchase at the Wellington Fit2Run store. I was very pleased with the workers' enthusiasm and willingness to help me find the perfect running shoe. I am a big fan of buying running shoes based on how "cute" they are, but the workers informed me that more goes into choosing a shoe than just its appearance.... They did a "gate analysis" on me, and I was able to see my tendency to over-pronate. The team pointed me in the direction of shoes for my walking/running type. I obviously bought a pair that day!! My poor experience with the store was over a pair of New Balance Running Shoes. I purchased these shoes from the store for a expensive $120.00. The shoe fell apart only after I worn them for a brief two occasions. I took the shoes back to the store with a receipt and the customer service I received was terrible! The cashier I first spoke with, upon returning the shoes had looked at the shoes and told me that he couldn't refund my money because I was not part of the "club." However, I showed him how they were falling apart and he said, "That shouldn't have happened." He went to grab the manager, Brenda. She instantly came out and was completely rude, wouldn't let me talk, and at the end of it all I could tell I wasn't getting anywhere so I smiled and said, "Ok." She replied with, "Is something funny?" She was very rude and I would not recommend going to this store if you are looking for nice customer service to help find you find your perfect pair of QUALITY running shoes! read more
