Went in for a new pair of sneakers. Found some I like for a fair price. Got in line to checkout (2 people in front of me) and after waiting for 15 minutes it was my turn to checkout... As I was walking up to the counter slightly frustrated the cashier proceeds to answer the phone which is fine HOWEVER instead of asking them to hold and attending to the customer (myself) who has been waiting to pay for 15 minutes she proceeded to have me wait so she could help inform the called about shoe insoles... needless to say I left without the shoes. read more

Definitely one if the larger locations if I do say so myself!! Every time I come here, I have plans to look for one thing and always leave with either that plus more or just something different all together. The new layout of the store has allowed more space for accessories and such, but they also carry shoes for the kiddos in store. This takes one stop shopping to a new level. As much as I enjoy walking up and down every aisle, yes I am that person, I never leave without checking the clearance section. It is all the way in the back if the store but seems to be the sweet spot for me not based on price but more-so on size. When you have small feet and easily wear both adult and kids sizes, it's hard to find most shoes in your size. Imagine that! However, this store has been so good to me, I can't recall the last time I left out of here empty handed. The kind folks who work here are always there to help and are actually always happy!! DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse - Shoe Stores Near Me - Woodbridge, Virginia

My granddaughter and I visited the Woodbridge DSW. We have visited many DSW stores before and always had great customer service. However, the Woodbridge location was a complete disappointment. There was NO ONE available to assist us. The only person in the store, that we could see, was the cashier. When we asked her could she call someone to give us some assistance, she got on what appeared to be her microphone and made a call. No one showed up. We were in search of a particular Nike sneaker that we saw on the shelf, in 3 different sizes and colors. When we returned to the cashier, to ask for assistance once again, we were told that the manager was in the back "doing paperwork". I asked her to please contact her. Her response, "if the shoes you want are not out, there are no shoes in the back". She was not rude, but this was not helpful. We actually wanted to have a detailed conversation about ordering the 3 pair of shoes we wanted, in 2 different colors, (6 pair in all). Completely dissatisfied, we abruptly walked out the store, and purchased our sneakers else wear. We won't be back to this location. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I bought a pair of shoes for $60 and only wore them for less than 5 minutes to my car and the back of my sole started to bleed I went there trying to exchange them for a different size or even store credit they said no. Now I understand I have never returned any shoes that I always buy from them this is the first time and they could not even give me a store credit and the customer service people are useless. I hate shopping. I know. I know....That's not very lady-like for me to claim, but it's true. So when I do go into a store, I know exactly what I want, what size I need it in and how much I'm willing to pay. Most times I've already seen an item online and I can't use Amazon Prime (or else I'd never step foot in stores again) so I take a visit. This time was the opposite. I've been looking for a pair of comfortable dark brown riding boots. When I've found something online, they either don't have my size or the calf part of the boot is waaay too wide for my chicken legs. Over the last few years, I've purchased other riding boots and realized I liked a particular brand because they fit just right, are extremely comfortable when worn for long periods of time and have lasted many years. So when I visited this DSW, I was on a mission to find a particular boot, whilst out of season. Within seconds, I found the perfect boot for me, but it was not in the size I needed. A staff person came over and asked if I needed help and I told her my dilemma. She quickly picked up the box of the boot, told me to hang on for a minute, and hurried over to the check out desk. She came back in a few minutes and said that they had my boot online in the size I needed and told me they'd ship directly to my house free of charge within 4 business days. Awesome! The best part, the boot was 50% off! #winning Since I had shopped there before and was a rewards member, all I had to do was confirm my address and use Apple Pay for my purchase. I swear I wasn't in the store for more than 15 mins. My kind of shopping experience!! read more

This DSW has a bigger athletic shoe selection than the one I normally go to. Not as big of a clearance section, however. And I really didn't see much of anything I liked in the non-clearance merchandise. The arrangement of the shoes is a bit odd. They have women's boots on a totally different side from women's heels. I love shoes. This place has you covered. Looking for accessories? Check. Love coming in here, looking at the new shoes, daydreaming of a closet I could fit all these shoes I can't afford all at once but can drool over. Also, it's a guilty pleasure to comb through the clearance racks because I always find more shoes I want in my champagne tastes on a beer type of budget. Life is short, get the shoes. If I could give 0 starts I would. I placed an order online it says it would be ready for same day pick up in 2 hours...MORE than 2 hours later the order is still not ready. I call the store the "manager" hangs up. I call again and she says she can't help me. I go to the store and she says there is nothing we can do and "they don't do that extra stuff" like what you don't do your job???? But you're the store manager. She could not help me cancel the order she says I can purchase it I go to look for the item and they don't even have it in stock.....drake like the artist.... And the fat white girl should not have to deal w customers on a face to face basis. Thumbs down. Will never do business here again read more

Here's a dirty little secret ... men like to shop too. But the payoff and satisfaction that men get from shopping is different ... we want to get the best value for the lowest price. We want a deal. Enter Da Shoe Warehouse. (Or whatever it's called). Diving through the bargain racks here can be a bit of a mixed bag and hit or miss, but when it's a HIT, it's a happy feeling. I picked up 2 great pairs of shoes for just under $90. I was wearing one of the pairs yesterday and said "Wow, I love these shoes" (Yes, I can be a bit of a girl sometimes.) The only complaint I had with this location is that their bathroom was EXTREMELY poorly lit with energy saving bulbs. I appreciate the "green" efforts, but I need to be able to see where I'm going. The lighting, and the white tile decor, reminded me of one of those horror movie scenes in a creepy, dimly lit mental ward/hospital. It was a little freaky. Bottom line - come here for the shoes, go potty somewhere else. read more

I love DSW, and this location is new and the staff is very friendly. While I do agree with another review that DSW is not the place to go to find your high-end designers like Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik or Dior, I hardly think it warrants marking them (DSW) down. They are what they profess to be, a discount designer shoe warehouse. Designer usually just denotes that the person who designed the item is a person or designer of note. I think that DSW offers that in spades to the average buyer. What I really like about THIS DSW is that so far it isn't too picked over, and the staff is doing a great job of keeping the same size shoes in the boxes and keeping them in order and easy to locate. That really helps people like us who are not good at "hunting" for a bargain...lol Keep up the good work!! read more

I like DSW because I can always find shoes at the last minute. I cannot stand going to a department store and they don't have my size. DSW has a wide enough selection that I should be able to find something to match my outfit. It's about time they put one in Woodbridge! read more

DSW is so awesome. I think this location is even larger than the one in Tyson's, if that's possible. On a weekday, I found a parallel parking spot on one of the adjacent streets. The clearance section here at the very back is also much larger than I've seen in other locations. I didn't find what I was looking for this particular time, but the selection and prices are pretty great. read more

I don't get the hype on DSW.. They do NOT have designer shoes other than the "coach" ones they call designer.. Designer shoes are those that are 1. hard to find 2. not readily affordable for everyone and 3. have stores in major cities And DSW does not have these designer shoes... read more

This location is pretty great! Located in Stonebridge across the street from charming Charlie's and SMU, this DSW is huge! The have a wide selection of shoes and handbags (I came in to get a weekend bag) and their sale section is vest and has many options. This location and Iff Broadway are my go to's for shoes, usually. Prices are reasonable and if you sign up for their rewards program you often get coupons in the mail. (Plus they have chairs in front for bored boyfriend to sit in if they're tired of shoe shopping ) read more

It is a shoe heaven !!! Love this place !!!! The staff is very helpful but you don't really need them as soon as you walk in it's very self explanatory !
