I had the opportunity to attend an info session at DT Glass to learn more about the business and the use of glass in residential design. The team here is SO passionate about their work, they make it fun to learn about a product that might be easy to overlook. The showroom is helpful to see options in person. It is located in Oregon City with plenty of parking. They primarily do showers here (about 1200 a year) but can also help with a wine room, window lites, partitions, railings, mirrors, tables, and more. They're the only place in the PNW to do their own fabrication, and because of that their lead time is only 1 week. They also have a method to coat the glass which helps prevent build-up of soap or hard water. read more

DT Glass fabricated and installed a new glass shower door (part of a bathroom upgrade) in our home in 2024. We were very happy with their customer service and product at that time. Fast forward to today. Our shower glass was looking a little cloudy in spite of routine cleaning. I called DT and they mentioned a cleaning product they had on hand, said they would send me the "kit". DT Glass did a phenomenal job in my tiny (maybe world's tiniest?) downstairs bathroom. Their showroom helped me firm up my concept for a 3-sided enclosure with a knee wall (that gives both privacy AND keeps the shower space visually open to light coming through the glass on top of the knee wall from a window.... with a view of a tree outdoors!) The in-office team was knowledgeable, the showroom was well seen up, their bid was reasonable, and the sturdy glass surround was installed quickly by a very personable team. We contacted DT Glass to have our shower door glass system replaced. On 9/17 Don Vickers came to the house on and took measurements. I explained that we wanted to replace our framed system replaced with a new more modern frameless system (large wheels on top) and we wanted to have the soft close system. I showed him a picture of what we looked at from Home Depot and he said yes we sell that type but not with soft closing. He also explained they do not remove the current system but they have people they recommend for us to call and have them do that work. Don mentioned that the two side walls will have no frames and there will be three small holes when the system is removed. I stated that is OK and I will fill them with the same color calk. He invited us to visit his showroom to which we did and we liked what we saw. An estimate arrived on 9/24 and we accepted the cost so they proceeded with the order. We called the persons DT recommended to no avail - they just would not return our calls. After talking with DT several times, Levi told us to Google it to find a person to remove the doors. They took no ownership in helping us with the people they recommend. We did Google and they arrived on 9/7 to remove the doors. After a few phone calls, as we were getting no status on delivery, we finally learned that they would install on 9/16. When the installer arrived we escorted him to the bathroom and left to let him do the install. When finished he called us up and to our surprise it was NOT the doors we thought we ordered, it was a totally framed in set of doors just like what we had removed!!!! In calling DT they said they would look into it but again was getting NO status calls. We finally received an email on 9/23, not a phone call, telling us we got what "we" ordered and basically if we wanted the other system it would cost much more money (and most likely we would have to pay for the uninstall!). DT Glass, Inc. offers no customer service as it was simply the customer that made the mistake, considering WE did not make the order, THEY did! Mr. Vickers had no pictures to show us to confirm what they had to offer, but rather, AFTER THE FACT, we had to go to their showroom! All through the process we were calling them rather than they keeping us, the customer, informed. I do not recommend DT Glass Inc, and will never provide them with a referral or ever call upon their services again! read more

I recently made a lamp out of an old whiskey bottle for my boyfriend. While making the lamp, I stumbled across a problem... I didn't know anyone with a glass drillbit to drill the hole for the cord. I called a few places to see if I they would be willing to do this for me and DT Glass was the first to call back. I spoke to John (?) who was extremely kind and said they would be able to drill the hole. When I asked how much something like that would cost, John told me that they would do it for free since it was such a small task. I dropped the bottle off that day (Friday) and had it back a few days later. I highly recommend them and will be definitely calling them if I ever need any 'glass' work done in the future! read more

Pros: friendly face-to-face customer service. Good craftsmanship when all the measurements for the double swinging shower door were complete (after 4 tries) Cons: disappointing costumer service via the phone. Multiple visits, of which I needed to take off from work to fit their schedule. Problems with manufacturer providing the wrong door. Limited communication between staff as the employees who visited the home stated they would follow-up with the owner to discuss a reduction due to multiple visits. This was met with significant push-back and a phone call from the owner who said "I would be losing money with anything beyond 15%). Agreed on 10%. What bothers me the most is not the limited reduction in price, it was the way this situation was handled. The lack of communication between staff regarding the recommended reduction, the rude phone conversation, and the lengthy time for installing the shower door is as Peter Griffin would say "really grinds my gears." At the end, the shower door works, I'm enjoying what my contractor did, but will not suggest nor ever us DT glass again. Sorry. read more

Fantastic business. They came in with a new custom shower glass design and installation. They came up with a better design than was originally speced out and it turned out beautiful. the installation was extremely tight and clean with no apparent seams and the look we were trying to achieve (it was a difficult install). Price was in line with other quotes Fast forward 1.5 years and the door started to rub against the tile. They came back out quickly, adjusted it back and even replaced the sweep for free.
