My experience with this company has been absolutely horrible as relates to their response to our…read moreunpleasant experience with their bus service. We were provided a subpar 56 passenger bus that arrived 20 minutes late and broke down/overheated 2 hours into the trip. Our group was patient and understanding with this first couple of mishaps which caused us to arrive at our event an hour late. We are most thankful to the bus driver that worked diligently with one of our senior leaders which happens to also be a licensed CDL driver who rallied all of our men on the bus to assist with getting the bus positioned and filled with water to counter the bus overheating. We want to also send out a special thank you to the manager and staff at the Shell Gas Station store #2108 for being so gracious to go to a local store and purchase a water hose to assist us. Now you would think this was the end of the saga but this was only the beginning. Once we were back on the road. The back half of the bus was without air and the passengers began to complain about feeling heat emissions possibly from the engine causing it to be even hotter. As a result one of the passengers became ill and had to move to the very first seat to get air and was wrapped in a wet towel to bring her body temperature down. We arrived and we were told that the bus would be replaced by the time we left our event to go back to home. Once we finished with our event and go back to the bus we realize there has been no replacement. We are informed that we will drive this same bus to Birmingham where a replacement will be provided. Once we arrive we are told the bus is 20 minutes out. At 40 minutes waiting we are told it is 15 minutes out and once again after 30 waiting we are told it is 5 minutes out. When the bus finally arrives it has been nearly 2 hours of waiting in unfamiliar territory that was not the best side of town with mostly women with children and a few men. But even with all that the worst of it all is when we called to speak with the owner, he did not want to take any ownership or responsibility but in fact blamed it on the the skill and knowledge of his hired driver. Now I'm not the sharpest tool in the toolbox but even if it was some fault of the driver would that not still lie with the company? Anyway this was my experience and I only thought it my duty to express it.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE…read more When you hire any company, you by default EXPECT PROFESSIONALISM, PROMPTNESS, RELIABILITY AND A THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING OF HOW YOUR PRODUCT FUNCTIONS. Not with ATLANTA PREMIER CHARTERS‼‼ HERE IS THE BREAKDOWN OF WHAT WENT DOWN 1. They came later than the requested time specified in our contract 2. The driver was not in uniform nor in any clothing with company insignia on it which is an immediate indicator that either we are dealing with unprofessional people and or this was not the originally scheduled driver... 3. 2 hours into the trip the bus (according to driver) overheated and we had to pull off the interstate and waste over an hour at a gas station attempting to troubleshoot what was happening. What's worse is that the driver was clueless as to what was going on and some of the men had to assist and become hands on so that we wouldn't be stranded for an extended amount of time. 4. Half the bus was hot../the other half was cold leading to 2 people becoming overheated and having to be relocated for them to cool down to the front area of the bus. 5. We were late to our event!!! ALLOW ME THE SPACE TO REPEAT...WE WERE LATE TO OUR EVENT!!! 6. We were told we'd have a replacement bus for the ride back home but we didn't. We started the journey back on the same bus experiencing the same discomfort as we had heading to Memphis. 7. Roughly 2 hours from Atlanta we pulled off to a PILOT truck stop to swap buses. We were told the bus was. 20 minutes out which meant we all had to get off the bus, get our stuff and load it onto another bus....It showed up over an hour later(consider this ...it's after midnight in a foreign area with woman and children) We made it back to Atlanta after 5am in the morning and we should have been back much sooner now our driver (female) did all she could for us so our frustration lays not at her feet but at her management. You can tell they didn't have her back and have not effectively trained her for real time issues on the road. We thank her for all she did do to try and keep a bad situation from worsening Upon sharing our grievance with management (MYRIO LEMONS) he told us these things happen and had a "could care less type of attitude" about our experience. Instead of being accountable and apologetic and willing to compensate us for the extreme inconvenience due to his inability to manage effectively he simply stated it part of the business and was unwilling to meet us at the table to agree to reasonable compensation. Basically take the money and run.... It is the company's responsibility to train their drivers and to have a fully functioning fleet to ensure these type of occurrences are the exception and not the norm. If this is the kind of service you'd like to experience on your next church or family outing sure......book them But if you want attentiveness to your passengers needs, promptness, knowledgeable drivers and whatever else finds itself meshed into the foundation of a great company I'd advise you to check with their competitors BECAUSE ATLANTA PREMIER CHARTERS IS A MULTIPLE THUMBS DOWN One final mention.....the 2 buses we were in were not the buses he has advertised on his page. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. The buses look aged and self painted. YOU HAVE BEEN ADVISED. SUPPORT HIS COMPETITORS

Finished up with dessert and a smokey blackberry mojito and some had shots of Red Bull ! We also walked around Midtown & learned about the area ... Nick was an outstanding young man - articulate and knowledgeable! Definitely a five-star event!

They gave us fun information about each brewery we visited and insider information of what beers to try. They also shared any piece of information they have gained over their many years of beer tasting. As visitors from out of town we also made sure we asked for restaurants and sites to see around town, Justin and Erin were happy to help out. We rode around in a clean and spacious bus with a private driver. You get picked up and dropped off at the same spot if you choose to do so. You even get a gift bag at the beginning. Over the afternoon you may even bond with your other group members and make the tour that much better. Take the next opportunity to take this tour, whether you're a local or visiting. It's worth your time and money.

Note that you can also park across Hwy 54 in the plaza devoted to county government offices. The museum is in the Holliday-Dorsey-Fife House, which has been on the site since before the Civil War. The main draws for the house are its history involving Doc Holliday (of OK Corral fame) and also its association with Margaret Mitchell and Gone With The Wind. When we visited we happened to be the only guests. We paid the $5 charge (apiece) and the guide, dressed in period costume, gave us a nice guided tour through about half of the ground floor rooms (mostly re: the Holliday family). We were then free to explore the rest of the house ourselves. There is a section on GWTW (Margaret Mitchell had family connections to the place and based some of the book on relatives from here). There is also a room dedicated to Fayette County history. Upstairs there are rooms showing furniture and clothes from the home's history and a veterans' / WWII room. There is also a room downstairs dedicated mostly to local Civil War events. This wouldn't necessarily appeal to everyone, and I doubt a lot of kids would be fascinated with it. However, if you have some connection with this area or are interested in any of the sub-sets of historical associations here, it is worth a stop. We enjoyed it.
