Tracy was very nice and accomodating to my needs to assist me with my needs. I came in rather late around 5:45pm but by 6:15 I had my iPhone back. 1) i posted this update after our banks settled a dispute to return the remaining $50 of the $150 (cash/card) i paid. Dispute started Nov 18, 2017 - Cleared Feb 1, 2018 2) after tom replaced my screen and i received phone back, screen glitched and image started skipping in an upward fashion. called him, he said bring it back its the mother board. $50 for a new motherboard Aug 22 He changed the screen twice and the third time "motherboard crashed" he confirmed my suspicion that it was the screen installed. 3) They had my phone all month September because they wouldn't be getting a samsung galaxy s5 motherboard anytime soon. at the end of september i was going on vacation and needed my phone back, they gave me a loner phone. But idk why i'd need a motherboard if it was the screen? idk, but whatever it was, i did not get my phone back. 4) I followed up after my vacation, no luck. i called them literally every other day, and oct 12 they finally said it was ready. got there, they realized the phone wasnt charging and they'll fix my phone and return it the next day. This is the last day i ever saw my phone again. 5) after texting and calling regarding when i can get my phone starting oct 13th, as . Owner mike keeps trying to up sell me a new used phone from his store, asking me to pay him another $200-$350 on top of the $150 i already spent. He stopped responding to my texts about getting me my phone back and would only test back to sell me a phone . Please look at the inappropriate text he sent me as well. 6) on nov 10, i had to take my father with me to get my cellphone back. we spent 2 hours trying to negotiate getting my cell phone back with the bad charging port and return my money or replace my phone and return my money. he tried to even give me a different phone with a broken screen and money back, BUT NOT MY ORIGINAL PHONE WITH MY DATA AND CONTACTS ON IT! Finally after two hours he gave me another galaxy s5 to replace my phone and $100 cash of my $150 and i was fortunate i charged $50 on my Credit Card so i was able to dispute it. I would have been happy getting my phone back with another broken screen on it + my money so i could take it to a different repair shop and have it a fixed there (i needed my data and contacts removed from it), but that option was not available because my phone was entirely not being returned. 7) til this day, i have no idea what happened to my original phone i brought in for a screen repair. 8) duration of repair and eventual dispute resolution with owner Mike, End of July -Nov 10, 2017 read more

I have came to Du Mobile a couple of times to get my phone screen replaced, so I brought my friend to get her iPhone X screen replaced. Service was fast, hour and a half $120 which is not bad. She told me she was going to call me once it was done in a hour but didn't, so I had to call her to see if it was done. I noticed I was able to redeem a check in offer to get a free phone screen. I did it and told the girl but she told me they don't offer that anymore because the screen prices went up and she needs to tell her boss to remove it because they forgot. The owner is a liar. First, he requested $120 cash for iPod nano battery replacement, promising to fix it in 3-4 business days. After 24 days nothing was done. I requested my money back. He started telling me that the device is fixed, his tech will bring it to my home, etc. Still nothing. I posted a negative review here at Yelp. He asked me to remove a negative review and returned my money, and promised to send me a device as a proof that it is in fact fixed, with a condition that I remove a negative review. My goal is to have a working device , not $120 that I already agreed to spend to fix it. There was my collection of music that I collected about 15 years. Unique and very important to me. I wrote him that if it is in fact fixed, I'll pay him again, not a problem. Again he promised to mail it to me by some time - Monday, then to check tracking, etc. Nothing done. I come to a conclusion that he lost or stole it. The device value to me is above $10,000. I've never met a liar like that. Don't ever step into Du Mobile door. read more
