After hitting four patks he decided Monrovia was the best. He liked the various terrain features at Monrovia Rec Park. He did say he wanted a bit more variety to drop in. Slight negatives include very little seating and lack of shade in mid-afternoon. There was also a but of a hunt to find the restrooms, located behind the third base area of the baseball field.

The seesaw horses that this spot has are unique. We've been to so many parks, so it's rare to see something new, and this spot was the first time I'd seen those. The skate park was completely empty, so this would be a kid-friendly spot to take your kid's board, skates, or scooters to for some safe learning without distractions. The bathrooms at this park were really gross, just a single room/stall for men and women, but at least they had something lol.

This park is family oriented and it has so much amenities to offer such as barbecues, picnic tables and shelter, drinking fountains, kids playground, restrooms, baseball field, tennis (4) courts, hardcourt (basketball, roller hockey, and skateboarding), and sand (2) volleyball court. In addition, this park offer a spectacular view of SG mountains. Plenty of parking within the park. Park goers were friendly and respectful. No homeless/sketchy people around the park which is good. Overall, this park is the largest in the city of Monrovia. I highly recommend this park to relax, unwind and play sports.

This location is great do to the fact it doesn't have any locals trying to claim the skate arena like it was theirs.The parking is limited on both the north and south side of the park so I would recommend early arrival because of the skate classes that are held on Saturday's and Sunday's from eleven to about one. But, that said, only old Glendorans would be making that mistake and yet I hear folks of all ages add the 'd'. The park has lots of amenities we've used since our kids were born and even before... - summer concerts and movies in the park - birthday or event areas (Scouting) - playground - tennis court (other side taken by pickleball :( - skate park - sports fields - horseshoes - volleyball - community center And more. We love walking through the park on the way to the Village. If you haven't been, worth checking out pretty much any day of the week. So many fond memories created at Finkbiner. Even Pokémon Go events, haha.

They charge a vehicle entrance fee of $15 per car, and from my experience you'd better prepare with cash as the reception there is bad, and their mobile card readers are often slow or not working.
