This is the closest skatepark to me and I'll take it. But beware, if it's really hot these ramps will definitely intensify that heat for you. You feel it radiate on your face and body. It has a lot of open flat lay out area to skate around if you aren't about the bowl/pool life, but still want to catch some little hills. It's a cool spot to practice on some tricks and skills. For all you roller skaters, I was told the half pipe was super short so she couldn't really do what she wanted given the length. Oh, also there is only one portapotty here for bathroom use. So beware girls and anyone who likes a clean bathroom. Unless there are some real bathrooms at another park within this park. (Etc. It's a good skateparks to practice tricks, the halfpipe is pretty small and I as a skater learned plenty of tricks. There's also a mini ramp connected to another ramp to work on transfers. It's pretty small skatepark but I'll take it as a good one. read more

The facility itself is nice, as well as the surrounding area. Its a bit small but usually not over crowded. It's in a very family oriented neighborhood right next to batting cages and a dog park, and close to tennis courts, a golf course, and a park that often has soccer games going on. There are often many younger kids here (even as young as 4-5 sometimes), and while the older teens and adults are usually nice and make room for skaters of all ages, it's not uncommon that some jerks will act like they own the place and tell younger skaters to get out of their way or to flat out tell them to stop skating on certain ramps or rails. It still is more welcoming to younger kids than most skate parks in the area, though. The parking usually sucks so many people park along the sides and they will ticket you, I've seen it happen more than once. It's nice to have a skate park here but it has its flaws. read more

I tried this park for the first time today. I haven't skated in like 6 years. This place doesn't make you feel intimidated. The people here are cool. There are people who come who are really good but you don't get those "judgey looks." Great for beginners or those getting back into it. Come before 3 or 4pm and you'll basically have the park to yourself. I'll definitely be coming back often. read more

I loved coming up to this park during the day and just riding around for a little bit. Ramps and everything are all pretty nice. I just HATE that it doesn't open until 3. its not even as if someone has to be there to supervise or anything. Its just a skate park... Would've been 5 stars but it doesn't make sense to me that they would wait until 3pm to open. It doesn't cost any money to unlock two fences and that really only takes 3 minutes to do. This park is pretty awesome. It's definitely great for beginners, or those who are trying to get back into skateboarding or whatever riding. The locals are friendly. Just keep moving and be aware of others. P.S. Bring some wax for the kink rail. read more

Have gone to this place a couple of times now and my kids generally like it - and so do I. The problem is that when it's busy, it's really busy. Probably 20-30 people skating and it's hard to get a chance to skate, and it's difficult if your kids are younger. One of the times I went, there were 4-5 kids smoking weed behind one of the ramps, near where the grind box is located, which is where I like to try most of my tricks and where my kids try to stay out of other people's way. Free and never crowded is the main reason I love coming here to skate. All the ramps are on the small side and that makes for a higher fun factor! It's also a really great place to skate if you are learning and are more on the learning side of things...Another reason small crowds is a plus here. Great ramps, good atmosphere, lots of fun to skate. Would've been 5 stars but open/close hours suck because they are so random.
