I pulled over to inspect the tire that was indicating an issue, and, indeed, there was a nail. Since I'm new to KC, I asked some friends where they go for tire services. Discount Tire was mentioned, so I looked up the closest location. I called ahead, and Chris informed me that they were fully booked with appointments but could schedule something for the next day. I was also welcome to come in for a walk-in, as they accept those all day. I decided to take my chances with a longer wait time. When I checked in, Antonio told me there might be a chance that the tire wouldn't be repairable, depending on the angle of the nail, but he was confident they could fix it. He also delivered the bad news of an estimated wait time of nearly 2.5 hours. Fortunately, he was mistaken; between receiving a text with a link to track my status and a text saying my vehicle was ready, only 1 hour and 10 minutes had passed. The friendly service and decent wait time (plus the excuse to step out of work) were worth it. Not to mention the icing on the cake- I didn't have to pay for a simple repair.

This is our third Discount Tire Store in two days to no fault of their own…read more We had two tires put on our car the day prior while traveling through Topeka, KS. As it turns out, they were not the right tires for our car and we felt unsafe driving the remaining trip with them. Through the Liberty, MO store, we found out the Overland Park store carried the tires we needed so we backtracked to the Overland Park store and they were able to get us in immediately. I feel terrible I cannot remember the gentleman's name who assisted us, but the name on our receipt says Bryant. He was very nice, efficient and so professional! Bryant was able to change out the two tires the Topeka store replaced yesterday with the two tires that matched our front tires. The Overland team went out of their way to help us, said they would handle everything and sent us on our way. What customer service!! Discount Tire will always have our business! Thank you!
