We bought our first spa (Dimension One)from them in 1998. It lasted 18 years running constantly!! In those years we maybe spent $1200 in repairs. Finally last year we got tired of waiting for it to crap out. Never did. In July of 2016 we went back to Dublin Spa and bought the Dimension One Lotus Bay model. Had it built with options we wanted. It arrived in Sept 2016. It has worked flawlessly since then. In July of this year I noticed it lost a little water each week. There tech came out and said leak was internal and they are going to order a complete NEW replacement. No hassles no pushback. My husband gave me and the children a hot tub for Christmas, and we bought it from this fabulous establishment. Nate helped us. He is the sweetest, most kind and knowledgable fellow that you will meet. We looked at all the hot tubs, including the swimming pool one (!!) and ended up deciding on the Meridian. It is beautiful- and is even nicer than we thought it would be. The built-in sound system is amazing, and the kids love turning on the waterfall. Nate really went above and beyond in helping us make this a beautiful Christmas present. He even managed to get it delivered for us in time for Christmas, even though we only went a few days before that busy day! Our hot tub uses almost no chemical, and it smells like fresh water all the time. Even after soaking for a long time, my skin does not feel robbed of moisture like going in a commercial hot tub. It is truly a luxury. Even though the product exceeded my every expectation, it truly was the service that Nate provides that makes this place so special. These guys are the best. It is a small family run shop in Dublin and well worth the drive. My wife and I just moved into a house and I really wanted a hot tub. We went to their showroom and started browsing, and Nate helped us out. He went over every possible thing about hot tubs that I could possibly want to know, and I felt much more educated. There was absolutely no sales pressure. After I found the one I liked (the Voyager), Nate let us know that there was an upcoming sale in about 3 weeks and that we should hold off on buying for the moment. A store telling someone not to buy right away is a great sign that they are something special. We did come back during the sale and got the tub with a water filtration system, and I did an impulse buy for the LED lighting upgrade. Fast forward 3 weeks later the hot tub arrived in stock, and Al came out to do a site inspection. It's a little over 2 flights of stairs to our backyard due to being on a hill, so we were in for the non-standard delivery. $250 is not bad at all considering they had to fabricate a ramp then winch it down a hill. Our backyard was also pretty jacked up when we moved in, and although I was able to fix quite a bit with a shovel and 6 hours, they setup a solid pad for the tub with some nice looking wood scaffolding and buried the supports quite far down. We also needed electrical work since I wanted 220V, and Al also is a general contractor. The rates quoted were extremely good, as Al let me know that they don't make their money on the setup work, but instead just on the tub itself as well as the ongoing chemical needs. Works for me! Once everything was in place, I spoke with Nate again who as always answered my questions. Here is a big shout out to Nate, John (who covered for Nate while he was out for a bit), and Al. Then Al came out for a site inspection and came up with some simple, but important ideas to make the installation work with our existing electrical. The removal and delivery crew were courteous, careful, and neat. Then Al and son came back and did a not-so-simple installation in only two hours, followed by a very informative explanation of the workings of our new tub. I bought a Nautilus Spa from Nate at Dublin Spa. He was very helpful and answered many questions about my spa. This was my second spa, and since I had so much trouble with my first spa purchased 12 years ago at a Danville store, I kew what questions to ask. After demonstrating the features and discussing the benefits compared to my old spa, I bought the Nautilus that day. Installation was tricky, as the new spa had to be placed over a loose stone short retaining wall. They quoted me a price to remove my old spa and dispose of it. But, my next door neighbor wanted it with plans to rebuild the motor. The two guys who delivered the new spa placed it perfectly. There was no way to do that without taking down part of the loose stone retaining wall, but they put all stones back perfectly so it looked like they were never moved. It was perfect. Then they hauled my old spa next door and arranged it's placement according to where my neighbor wanted it. When I tried to pay them for the work they did, they declined. I know it was not an easy job, but they wouldn't take my money. Not sure if that was because that was the price to dispose of it or not, but what a first class move on their part. They were truly professionals, in workmanship and in character. That happened nearly a year ago. Since then, I have been thrilled with the spa and have enjoyed it countless times. This purchase all started with my wife wanting to buy a Costco Hot tub. I didn't want to spend $5k without knowing the brand or seeing it so I did some research. We walked into Dublin spa to get an idea on what we were looking at in actual cost and models. We saw $6,500 and up and immediately walk out and said, this might be out of our budget. So, I researched for two weeks using YouTube and found "hot tube university", which really educated us in what is good and what is crap. We checked out "Creative Energy" in Pleasanton and the sales person was major creepy!, so we left. With some education in hand we went back to Dublin Spa and took time to see and learn about Dimension One and all their models from Nate (Such a great guy!!) Prior to making the purchase we went to a "Hot tub parking lot sale" at Stoneridge Mall and met with the traveling circus, I mean sales team. After seeing their brands we went back to Dublin Spa and complimented them on how they operate and no pressure along with a great attitude!! They referred an electrician "Chase Electric" to do the 220 hook up. We worked with Chase, our landscaper and Dublin spa to make sure all went well so their is no finger pointing if something goes wrong. We purchased the "Dream Series", had it installed and have been extremely happy since!! I can not say enough good things about the service, sales and recommendations they provided!!! My husband and I had been looking all over the Bay Area with no luck. When my Dimensions One (D1) hot tub finally died after 16 years of dedicated service, I knew I wanted to replace it. Dublin Spa Center was a great resource. I worked with Dave and Nate, who listened to what I wanted and helped make it happen. No upselling, no trying to substitute one thing for another, just straightforward information and assistance. They even helped me get a unit quicker than expected, and let me know I qualified for a repeat customer discount from D1. Dublin Spa Center also was great on the installation side. I had a custom install with the tub sunk into a part of my garden. They were able to extract the old tub and install the new one quickly and efficiently without any collateral damage to the garden. They were the best. From Nate in the showroom making suggestions with no pressure, to Dave on the phone, to Anne on the phone to Al who came out with his crew to do most of the work. These people are great! They sold us a hot tub, removed our old one (35years old), and not only installed the new one, but made sure once it was installed that we were happy with the installation and came back to put in a handlebar for our safety ( we are seniors). They also converted our gas system to a more modern efficient electric unit, They rebuilt the decking around the new tub after they sunk it into our existing deck. They gave us a plastic bin with necessary chemicals, testing strips, and a laminated instruction sheet for maintenance. I purchased a D1 spa from these folks back in 1999. I still have the spa and still go to Dublin Pool and Spa when I need service or help. DP&S has never disappointed. From holding my new spa for a few months while my new home was being built, to the fair pricing on service, to going above and beyond when making a service call (yeah, sometimes spa's need service), to today. Today I went to DP&S in search of an o-ring for one of the pumps. The gentleman working the counter went in the backroom to see if he had one in stock. He didn't, but did he just say "Sorry" and send me on my way? No, instead he went to the backroom again, this time looking for an old pump that he could remove the o-ring from. A few moments later he was back with a brand new looking o-ring and handed it to me, no charge. I wouldn't have minded paying for it, new or used as long as it did the job. But in typical DP&S the customer comes first fashion the guy (I should have gotten his name) thought of the customer first. This is one of the many reasons that I will continue to use DP&S when I need something spa related, this is also one of the reasons I recommend highly DP&S if you are looking for a spa or looking to have one serviced. read more

When we moved into our home in 1998, the previous owner had installed a Dimension One Spa which had been purchased from Dublin Spa in late 1997. The Dimension One line of spas are quite high quality spas, however, as with everything mechanical they do require repairs and maintenance from time to time. As the spa is now 14 years old, I have returned to Dublin Spa many times to purchase replacement parts for my spa. I'm happy to say that despite being quite an old spa at this point, I have been able to keep it in good working condition. This is in no small part due to the efforts of the guys at Dublin Spa who have always been able to locate spare parts for me. I understand that most Spa manufacturers (including Dimension One) stop making spare parts for models of their Spas which are more than about 8-10 years old. This is somewhat disappointing, but it is 'reality' . . . and as a result, it can be quite difficult to locate spare parts for older spas . . . either original parts that are still on the shelf somewhere, or alternative parts (usually from more recent models) that will work with minimal adjustment or adaptation. In addition to their efforts to find parts for me, the guys at Dublin Spa have also always been willing to spend time to answer my questions about installation. They have even taken time to explain and demonstrate the repair process, and to provide helpful hints. I realize that many spa owners are not particularly inclined to undertake these type of repairs themselves, and many would rather simply hire a spa repairman to do it. However, I can say that the willingness of the guys at Dublin Spa to take the time to locate parts and help explain the installation process clearly demonstrates that they are willing to "go the extra mile" to provide a high level of customer service to Dimension One Spa owners. This is particularly appreciated since the Spa was originally purchased by the previous owner of my home . . . not me. It would be quite an easy thing for a Spa seller to simply say "we can't get the parts anymore" . . . and go right into an effort to sell you a brand new (expensive) spa that would obviously be significantly more profitable to them. However, I appreciate the customer service approach taken by Dublin Spa, and when it comes time that my Spa truly does need to be replaced, there is no doubt that I will be back to Dublin Spa to make the multi-thousand dollar purchase for a new spa at that point. In the meantime, it's reassuring to know that a few hundred bucks here and there to keep it in working condition is continuing to save me the big bucks for a new spa. Thanks, Dublin Spa ! read more

This place sells an outstanding product. We have been really happy with The quality of our hot tub. Additionally, the installation went well. But, their service is awful. Just awful. There has never been a time, since we purchased the hot tub, that we haven't had to call three or four or more times and leave many messages to get a call back. They routinely do not answer the phone even when they are supposed to be open. Their website says they do warranty and non-warranty service, but they have changed their minds, I guess, and now they don't do non-warranty service. They refer to a guy who does non-warranty service, but doesn't come to my area. So, the bottom line is that they are selling products that they can't service. My impression? They are all about the sales, but don't give a damn after you write the big check. read more

Wow! This was the best experience we've ever had when purchasing anything. Nate was great! He was very informative, patient, and answered all of our questions. There was no pressure whatsoever. After asking us what we specifically were looking for (e.g., back, knees, ???), he recommended hot tubs with specific configurations. We discussed models, interior and exterior materials, covers, filtration, and other considerations. And, the price was outstanding. We compared it to what we had paid 11 years ago for our Cal Spa, and were very pleased. We made a decision and started counting the days! After the decision, we scheduled a site inspection. And, we were given a gift basket with two very nice towels, some chocolates, and a bottle of wine. We also scheduled to have our old spa removed. 3 gentleman showed up on time and removed the old tub without incident. We were proceeding to get our new tub! The actual installation was great! With our prior hot tub, we had to separately schedule an electrician. They took care of everything! The two installers were wonderful. It was a hot day and they worked hard. But, they were friendly throughout and did an excellent job. Once the tub was installed, I got a lesson on how to maintain the tub, the water, and the cover. And, I was provided with a tupperware-type container with chemicals, testing strips, and a laminated instruction sheet. When they left, we found two wine glasses and a bottle of champagne on the tub's steps. That night when the water got up to temperature, I used it for the first time. I tested every single station. It was exactly as described. My back was happy, the knees were happy, and my neck was happy. The spa was as advertised. The service was absolutely outstanding. Over the years, I had come to this store to buy chemicals, and to get advice about the hot tub that I had not even purchased from them. So, when it came time to buy a new tub, I immediately thought of them. Nate and the team did not disappoint. This was a great experience. I have owned my Dimension One Meridian hot tub purchased at Dublin Spa for 4 years. My family loves the tub and we use it quite often. The initial and continued service that I have received from Dublin Spa has been fantastic. Nate and Dave were so helpful in deciding on the purchase and their father did an awesome job building the crushed granite foundation and pulling the electrical line in our backyard. We have only had one problem with the spa when a pump motor went out. Called Nate, they ordered the part and fixed it right away. We just bought a spa from Dublin Spa Center and I can't recommend this company enough! They were helpful and kind throughout the entire process. We shopped around before selecting the spa at DSC and believe that we got a good deal on a top quality spa. One thing I would like to point out is their incredible customer service. We were replacing an old spa so they came out to the house, took measurements, and gave us a quote for removal and installation. When they later came back out to remove the old spa and deliver/install our new spa, they found out that the concrete underneath the spa was not level so, if they put the new spa into the same location, it would likely crack the new spa, over time. Most companies would have probably not honored the installation quote at this point because there was no way for them to know this before they removed the old spa. However, they came out and leveled the platform out so that they could install the new spa safely without charging us anything extra. Additionally, this was all done while we were out of town so, when we returned, we came home to a beautiful, heated spa, ready to use with a supply of chemicals and items for maintenance. On top of this, because we had been gone when the spa was installed, they sent someone out to show us how to maintain and use the spa properly and he even brought us a gift bag with towels, wine, sweets, and a rubber duckie :) Then, last week, I got a nice thank you card from everyone at the store.
