They are always unfailingly professional, polite and responsive. They walked me to their "shop" in the back - the area where all the stone is cut - and allowed me to look at the slabs - AND allowed me to take home a sample so I could decide which one worked best in my home. They fit me into their schedule relatively quickly as well. Not next day but within the week. The crew was professional, showed up on time and finished the work quickly. Here's where they really earned their 5 stars. There was a very small portion of the sink where the enamel seemed to be chipped off. I called them - sometimes you just don't see these things till later and they arranged for someone to come right out to fix. Enes very politely asked the location and indicated the damage could have been done by the plumber. They could have made things very difficult and we could have gone and forth but he didn't. Enes sent a crew (I called him on a Saturday) and he had someone out in the next couple of days to replace the sink. That's the hallmark of a company that prides themselves on a job well done and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. On this matter, the owner eventually told me that it was delayed due to "tariffs"-- yet the hardwood flooring manufacturer, Somerset, proudly advertises their floors are produced in the United States and their supply chain entirely domestic-- which means they've likely not been impacted by any issues related to tariffs. Eventually the flooring arrived and their team began to install the product, only to later realize not enough product had been ordered, so the project couldn't be completed all at once. Fortunately more became available in about a week and they completed the project. While they informed me that the remainder of my flooring would be ordered they asked me to pay for half the balance of the project so they could "pay the crew". This is a flooring company that has a storefront and has been in business a long time, I was shocked they didn't apparently have the liquidity to pay their crew for a job that hadn't actually been completed. Eventually the job was finished and the product seems of high-quality, but the overall experience was not what I expected. We were referred to Rick's by a friend and didn't negotiate their price, or shop around, believing we'd get exceptional service and we did not. Other than an apology from the owner and GM, nothing was extended for the inconvenience we endured. All-in-all, I would not personally use Rick's again. It was a frustrating experience and when spending nearly $22k at a business, I'd definitely expect better.

When others were all pitching a kitchen island, she understood we were happy with a peninsula design, and paid attention to the limited space and work areas based on our small kitchen. She made suggestions and redrew the plans to address our own ideas and questions. There was a great back & forth dialogue on what we envisioned. She encouraged us to take our time and explore all the different choices available. Katie eliminated a lot of the decision fatigue that happens with having to make so many choices. Katie never pushed, just made helpful suggestions. She stressed there was no rush. We chose Cabinet Discounters over other companies/designers because Katie listened. She looked at our existing kitchen and understood what we wanted and needed. She focused on work spaces and areas we would dedicate to specific tasks, like a coffee bar. We love our kitchen! As you can see from the photos, our kitchen is falling apart. Cabinet Discounters used the wrong grout, so it continues to crumble. The tile floor is cracked, and we have had to have the grout repaired at additional expense from another contractor. Our kitchen needs to be gutted...again, due to the extremely poor quality of work provided by Cabinet Discounters. Their customer service is terrible, and they have yet to respond to my outreach.
