There were a wide variety of options to choose from as far as what color/pattern of granite we could have installed. We spoke with Atila who came to our home to measure. The installation team came several days later. They did an absolutely fantastic job. It was done in a clean way, they are a pleasure to work with and they asked all of the important questions to make sure that they installed it just as we would want. The price quoted was extremely reasonable. We paid 1/2 up front and the balance after installation. I am completely satisfied. We now may change the backsplash. They don't supply the tile which we will have to purchase after living with the new granite. If we decide to change the backsplash also, they will certainly be the ones to remove what we have and install the new. I have no reservations working with them and found the communication to be excellent.

My overall…read morekitchen remodel has been extremely stressful (mainly due to cabinet delays, not countertops), and by the time I reached the countertop stage, I was beyond frustrated. Brandi completely changed that experience for me. She has been professional, patient, and incredibly kind every step of the way. Whenever I have questions, she goes above and beyond to explain things clearly and make sure I feel confident about the process. She has a way of calming the stress and making everything smooth and manageable, which I appreciate more than I can say. My countertop installation hasn't happened yet, but I will come back to update this review once it's complete. Even so, I wanted to share now that Brandi has already made such a positive impact. She is truly the reason I would recommend Granite & Marble Express to anyone.

I checked the hours and google showed that they were open. So either, we were lied to or they have wrong hours on google. We ended up going with a different company.

We spoke with a dozen different granite countertop suppliers, but we really appreciated how wonderfully Stone And Cabinet Center worked with us in a personal way, and their attention to detail. Ada, Hyhan, and Orhan coordinated cabinet delivery and installation, dishwasher and sink plumbing, and our complex curved-bar and countertop installations. The quality and value we received were outstanding. The cabinets we selected were half inch thick wood with dovetailed slow-close drawers, and because we selected a very large remnant piece of Granite, the price was great. They were kind and gracious every step of the way, and we've already recommended them to friends and neighbors. Our next step is to change the flooring to match our beautiful new wet bar!

Other companies just quoted me at around $12k, but Ada provided a very competitive quote at almost half the cost. There were multiple stone supplier around the corner for me the pick the stone I like. The process was smooth. The team is also very professional. I wanted to add a waterfall to my current island layout and another company said it wasn't possible, but Ada's team made it happened beautifully! I had heard horror story that the Taj Mahal quartzite is so hard to cut, and it would break without proper technology. Fortunately that did not happen to me. Every piece was cut and polished nicely. This team knows what they are doing but did not put a crazy price tag in the work they do. I have to mention the customer service is great with this team. Ada is a reliable, honest and responsive guy to work with. There was an incident that we found our water line leaky after the installation, which could happened during removal of the original granite but nobody was sure. Ada just stood up and took the responsibility immediately. There was also miscommunication during the process but Ada was always there to resolve the problems and made the process worry free. This is the team that you want to work with because unexpected things and mistakes could happen in every project, but they will make it right for you. I will totally recommend this team to my friends and colleagues. Check out my before and after pictures for the transformation!

But once we scheduled the appointment with CKB, lots of other projects popped up with our old, new house: knocking pipes when the hot water is on, an old fireplace mantle with water damage behind it, a wall-mounted tv that the previous owners stuck right into flammable insulation. But it didn't matter! Quinn, Cherie, and Carlos completed our whole list within ONE WEEK and within our budget. The team painted everything from ceilings to baseboards and covered up the previous yellow and navy blue paint! They completely replaced the damaged drywall behind our brick fireplace and installed a new electrical outlet for the wall mounted tv, in addition to adding fireproof insulation! And they fixed our knocking pipes by cutting into our walls and spray foaming around the culprits. Totally professional and on time every day. It was great! Can't wait to have them back to renovate our old bathrooms.

Primary emphasis was a layout that could evolve over time and recapturing some floorspace. Start to finish was 3-4 weeks. This included tearing out popcorn ceiling, wiring in ~11 new recessed lights, new flooring, new kitchenette, small updates to a guest bathroom, painting all the things (including a chalkboard 1/3 wall) and a redesigned fascia for our fireplace. It also included a "secret room" for the kiddo that Quinn took on as a personal project, as we've been juggling complex medical issues for a few years. Needless to say that resulted in a lot of smiles and it has been getting a ton of use. The plywood in the secret room is 3/4" and we plan to add some rock climbing grips to it in the future. Pearl and Monica were easy to communicate with and any issues (ex: some painting needed to be revisited) were handled promptly. They were very flexible with pricing and really went out of their way to make this work for us. I'm deeply appreciative of the work they did for our child and the flexibility they demonstrated with some of my last-minute design tweaks. This is an easy recommend from me.

I sent her the measurements and she gave me a quote. We went out at the start of Sept on a Saturday to look at their slabs of granite and very quickly chose one. Nilay never tried to upsell at all but answered all my questions about finishes. (We went with a leathered texture and love it!) Once we picked our slab, Nilay scheduled the measurement guy who came the following Monday. The installers came the following week and it was in beautifully. It's perfectly level and the seam is smooth and unobtrusive. We are very happy with it! (Especially now that I'm finished with tiling.) You may find a better price elsewhere, thought I think VM&G is competitive, but I really appreciated their responsiveness, quick turnaround, quality of work, and willingness to work with my very specific needs (save cabinets, close gaps, no granite backsplash, etc.).

After having some issues with the countertop company our GC wanted to use, we decided to try finding our own and went to Richstone, just based on reviews. The first thing that I liked was that the rep in the store - ours was Tina - was actually helpful - helpful in suggesting colors, helpful in providing all kinds of information that no one had provided us with before. It took us months to decide on the stone for the countertop, and she was ever patient and responsive. When we finally chose one, it turned out to be really hard to get - and yet, Richstone managed to get it relatively quickly and way faster than the contractor we'd originally been with had told us it would take. Before the install, we got a proof showing exactly how it would look on the counter (and it did end up looking exactly like the proof). The measurement process was painless, quick, and accurate. Installation was way better than we had even hoped for - they were fast, neat, and the finished product was absolutely perfect. It is the one installation in the whole kitchen that actually went according to plan. So they came when they were supposed to, they did the job they were supposed to do, they did it right, and we love the countertops. Moreover, I felt like Richstone guided us through the process and Tina did a lot of hand-holding that I needed, because honestly all of this is pretty confusing and intimidating for a first-timer. Wish we'd found this company first - could have saved myself a lot of time and stress.

Christian is organized, punctual, and he is a great person to work with- full of great ideas and suggestions. Dominion offers many styles and types of granite, quartz, etc. to choose from and they can move very quickly if needed. We came in with a deadline to get our kitchen done before a certain date that was about 5 weeks away and we were done within three weeks- very impressive! The installation team removed our old countertops and installed the new ones in just a matter of hours and they did an outstanding job. You can tell that Dominion is truly tops in their area of expertise and they only hire the best people, because it is very clear that everyone we came in contact with (even Izzy!) cares a great deal about what they do. Thank you, Christian and team- we are very pleased with how things worked out and we'll definitely recommend you to anyone who needs countertops- as a matter of fact, we've already told a few neighbors about you.
