-Delicious dinner spot, super casual atmosphere with plenty of seating. -great duck decor all around -duck fried rice was so delicious. The duck was cooked perfectly. The only con is the plate they served it in was way too shallow, so when you tried cutting the duck, the rice would overflow. We saw another table get this when we were leaving, and they had a deeper plate, so that's just a consistency thing to note. -crab and lobster dip had a not stingy amount of lobster in it! Chips were also that home made chip feel that go perfectly with it. It's quite rich and creamy too. -house wines are very reasonably priced too which is a big win :) -would def come back!

I had seen Ducky Alley in a TicToc video of things to try in Saugatuck. We come here once a year and have our favorites, but we also like to try new things. Upon arriving, we were offered seating in the bar. We grabbed a high table, and soon the waitress (bartender), greeted us. She was super friendly and helpful throughout the evening. We ordered drinks and the short ribs appetizer. The short ribs were amazing, super flavorful. Being "Ducky Alley" we both said we wanted the Duck Fried Rice. The waitress said, that's a lot of food, and suggested we could split one order. My husband agreed, but they ordered the Fish & Chips figuring we could split that too LOL. The Duck Fried Rice was interesting. I believe they intend for it to be the entire duck, but there was only one leg, which was odd. I ate the wings, and half the breast, my husband at the leg and the remaining breast. We broke the egg so it blended in with the rice. All in all, this entre was good, and we licked the plate clean. The fish and chips received mixed reviews. To me, it was overcooked. The breading was a darker brown, not a golden brown, and it was too thick, I got more breading than I would have preferred with every bite. My husband of course was full just with the duck and appetizer, so he took his portion of the fish & chips home to reheat two days later. He claimed it was really good reheated. I'd give the staff five stars, the duck four stars, the fish & chips 3 stars, the appetizer 5 stars, and the atmosphere 4 stars. I'm sure we will return.

We stopped by for apps and a drink. So yummy! My cocktail was sweeter than I had hoped. Everything tasted fresh. Service was great. We would to come back for dinner!

Food is creative and delicious. Drinks, entrees, appetizers are all out of the ordinary Nice change of pace from common fare. Similar but with a twist to your ordinary meal. Ambiance is relaxed and enjoyable. Area outside around the restaurant has a coastal vibe. Nice evening for dinner and a stroll.

Easy to miss this little (Sauga)tuck'd away lunch spot downtown near the old Chequer's. Solid drink and food menu for a large party to quickly figure out. Service was attentive and patient with all the children in our group. We tried the margarita and fried chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. However, the burger (according to others in our group) was the standout option. Literally, everyone loved their burger. We'll take just one more sentence to compliment Duck Alley on their clean floor plan, simple menu, and price point. Great downtown option.

Great place if you love ducks. Duck name, duck decor, duck on the menu. Our party of four was seated quickly and the service was speedy and friendly. We were looking for a place with outdoor seating which Duck Alley does not have, but we figured that this place was comfortable and clean so we should give it a shot. I was skeptical of our group ordering the Duck Fried Rice since it is $48 but we split the dish and all were pretty full by the end of our meal. I think the menu could have done a better job at clearly stating that this is a large meal which is best for sharing; I couldn't imagine eating this whole dish by myself. I thought the food was great and the peach bourbon cocktail that I had was also fantastic. I would come again if I ever return to Saugatuck.

Visiting from out of town (Missouri) for a wedding. We sat down and were helped by Debbie. FIVE STARS ACROSS THE BOARD. Debbie was amazing, it's hard to pick favorites but the Lobster and Crab dip and Lobster and Shrimp Roll were favorites! The Seafood Gemelli Pesto was a pleasant surprise and was delicious. Debbie took care of us and was the most positive interaction we've had in the area all weekend. If you're looking for great service, delicious food and a variety of cuisine this is your place. We will be back when we come back to MI.

The duck fried rice - just wow. Incredible dish. I don't eat duck often and got this to try something new, and would encourage others to do the same. It really put duck on the map for me. Halibut entre, short rib app, drinks and chocolate mousse dessert all were excellent. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Definitely stop in

Duck Alley is a nice place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. The side entry door is a little hidden because it's down the alley next to Bowdie's. But when it's a little more busy in town they also open the front door. I would order just about any appetizer on the menu. But the duck wings and fried mushrooms are the stand outs in my opinion. For mains, the Chicken Schnitzel and Lamb Ragu both are very good. But, when they have the Cod fish and chips, I'm going for that 10 times out of 10. As for sides, the roasted wild mushrooms are other worldly. Wow, so good. We often sit at the bar, because the service is great and the bartenders are very friendly. The wait staff also is excellent. Duck Alley has a nice comfortable and friendly vibe. It's on our list of places to frequent.

Very cute spot with great staff. Everyone is so kind and welcoming! Didn't get to try much but I loved my chicken schnitzel

My sister and I came here for drinks and to watch the Kentucky derby. It wasn't crowded at all; we walked right in and sat at the bar. The two bartenders were super sweet, friendly, and personable. Our mojitos were excellent !!! The space was low key, which I enjoyed! I would definitely recommend! (I can't speak to the food though since we didn't eat!)

The duck wings were good. The $34 halibut was very dry and tasteless. Waiter just kind of shrugged when I told her. Won't be back.

They were both delicious. The meatballs were flavorful and moist. The soup tasted fresh and creamy with little chunks within. Those both were my absolute favorite. I was slightly disappointed in the smoked salmon, as it didn't seem like it was smoked that well. To me it was more baked than smoked. The bread was good and the Honey butter was a nice spread on it. Chicken had a nice sauce/flavor to it, though was a tad on the dry side for me. Atmosphere was alright, we enjoyed the outdoor seating and never went inside so cannot speak on that. Service was alright. Nothing to write home about. Not sure I'd make this a place to visit a second time. Thought its worth a try once.

Sure, I'd leave places and be like, "I should really do them a solid" but then I just went home and either forgot about it or started doing other stuff. Have gotten really into running since COVID and that's pretty much my favorite topic of discussion (running, not COVID). Had between 15 and 20 Miller Lites over the course of a three-night span here in late June 2026. This place is like Outback Steakhouse in the "no rules, just right" type of way. I do not believe they serve food here but did see bartenders making microwavable popcorn on request to several patrons. So this place is designed with a three-room set-up. You walk in and it's a square carpeted room that can be used for live music. Then you reach the bar area, then there are pool tables. There seemed to be an area behind the pool tables but I was too afraid to go back there. Now in terms of bar design, I would have led with the bar but that's just me and I'm sure the architects (possibly Mike Brady from "The Brady Bunch") knew what they were doing. I tend to trust professionals, apart from what our public health "experts" did to us during the forementioned COVID. This bar is cash only. That's probably in other reviews. Also, if you have AT&T cell service, good luck. There's no service so you can't look up scores and check Instagram. And now you're thinking, "what about the wifi?" C'mon bro, be serious. I love this bar. They have four different TVs in the main bar area that range from 19 to 45 inches. All are on different setups. Antenna, YouTubeTV, etc. The staff is fantastic. Patrick and Katie were my two favorites. Entertaining and straight out of bartending central casting. I was just drinking beers so I can't comment on what like a cocktail or normal-person drink tastes like. Clientele ranges from bachelorette parties to people who have seen some shit. It's a dive bar that never had to try to be a dive bar. You'll read other reviews on this place and they are super granular or longwinded or whatever. Don't pay attention to those bozos. This place is strictly vibes. Did I mention the dropped ceilings have art paintings on them? One even has a Pontiac painted on it. Hell yeah, Michigan.
