While in town for the weekend, we were looking for a place to grab a drink in the evening of our first night. With a lot of places closed, we stumbled upon Noble Twist Taphouse. We are so glad we did! We loved it so much we returned our second night, as well! First, while many places closed at 9pm, Noble Twist closed at 10pm. Second, the hostess and bartender were welcoming, kind, and professional. Third, the ambiance is clean, modern, and open. We loved the classy, but not pretentious, vibe since many of the other spots in town have more of a dive-bar vibe. We sat at the bar to watch games on the TV, but there were plenty of tables with chairs, as well. The drinks menu is fabulous! I got a different cocktail each night and loved both. First, the Partridge in a Pine Tree. Second, a Dirty Gin Martini. Both were flavorful, high quality, and boozy. My husband tried the IPA the first night and the Pilsner the second. He loved both! Best of all, prices are reasonable for quality beverages! The menu also had wine and food, but we did not try either. Next time! Noble Twist Taphouse is our new favorite drinking spot in Saugatuck! A Saugatuck favorite. Setting outside is comfortable and not cramped. Plenty of space to enjoy as your own. Service was wonderful, attentive, and stress free. Celebrating our anniversary, server offered to take our picture and wished us congratulations several times. Beer quality was great. The German dunkel is a good example for the type. We share the Pepperoni pizza with hot honey. Very good and it came out quick and hot. Worth a first time or repeat visit. read more

Solid pies and lives up to the hype. We've heard great things about Noble Twist and swung in after the dinner rush for some drinks and pies....and we're so glad we did. The Hot Italian (sub mozz) was flavorful, had a sweet sauce, and a chewy crust. While we can't remember the gals' order (see pics), they also loved their pie. The wings (we were curious because our family is from Calabria) were spicy, meaty, and flavorful. Service was friendly, warm, and quick. Excited to see this new addition to downtown Saugatuck during a recent visit. It was starting to feel like we would go to the same places over and over again and we were thrilled to see this new spot pop-up on Yelp. We visited for an early in-house 5 PM dinner and were promptly seated. They have a large patio that appears to be quite popular, but we ended up sitting inside in the bar section. Our waitress was very friendly and eager to walk us through the menu. We ended up ordering the tempura fried veggies from the appetizers list a tomato Caprese salad (arugula caprese salad with tomatoes and a lemony vinaigrette (it was superb!) along with a pizza. The Lake house pizza with arugula, mozzarella, prosciutto, lemon oil and parm was fabulous. There are several TVs in the dining room room, so the kids were easily entertained as we leisurely enjoyed our wine and cocktail to go with dinner. Not proud to say this, but sometimes you just want to linger like the old (pre-kids) times. read more

Definitely a new spot still working through some things. That said, the service was friendly and as attentive as they could be! It was very busy and they had run out of some items I would have liked to have tried. The beers were yummy and my partner enjoyed the wine. Noble Twist House is what happens when someone actually remembers that pizza should taste good. The crust is exceptional--confident, chewy, and happily the star of the show. I've tried the pepperoni, supreme, and pesto, and each one has convinced me that pizza can, in fact, be dinner. The rest of the menu, however, could use a long nap. Salads are what you'd expect if you asked your cousin who doesn't cook to "just bring something green." The kale and Caesar are both more penance than pleasure. And the appetizers--straight from the frozen food aisle in spirit if not in packaging--are best avoided. You'd think if they can make their own dough, they could pull off something edible to start. The drinks are a split personality: the beer list is excellent, with flavors from crisp pilsner to hoppy IPA. The cocktails, on the other hand, are so elaborate you'll need a degree in chemistry just to order. Still, the staff is genuinely friendly, the pizza is truly worth coming back for, and in the end, isn't that why you showed up? read more

I've been a pizza snob for years. I've been to the best east coast places in Connecticut, Brooklyn, The Hamptons, New Jersey and my own backyard wood fired. Noble twist really got it right. We stopped in this new business on our last evening of family vacation in Saugatuck. We came super early for dinner (around 5pm) and sat at the indoor seating. There is also outdoor seating in a cozy patio space down a hallway from the indoor dining. Indoor seating had a bar/brewery vibe. The staff were very friendly and accommodating with our two young kids. The pizza was great! Excellent, chewy, tender thin crust. I had a fun purple tiki cocktail and enjoyed some crunchy tempura-battered veggies for an appetizer. Would go back for the pizza. read more

Great new brewery in town! Big outdoor patio and long indoor bar sort of around the corner on the side street. When we went, they just had a couple of beers brewed and ready for sale, both of which were delicious! The bartender was super knowledgeable and attentive. The pizzas looked good but we opted for salads instead- we split the chicken add-on which was more than enough for two people to share with their own lunch salads (also it was so much more than just plain grilled chicken- it was tasty in its own right!). read more

Great new spot in downtown! Their outdoor patio is charming and cozy - perfect vibes for a summer night. We tried the clam and garlic pizza and it was delicious. I had their $18 margarita (I can't remember the name) and it was worth every penny - complex and way more interesting than a regular margarita. Their cider was perfect - dry with just a hint of sweetness. Service here was terrific. The staff welcomed us in and were warm and friendly. Our food and drinks came out in an appropriate amount of time. Love that the patio is dog friendly. I even loved the 80s music they were playing. We will definitely be back! read more

Had a great lunch with friends out back on the patio Saturday afternoon. The fresh draft brews made in-house were crisp and clean with the right flavors. One was a much improved version of Blue Moon and a great straight forward IPA. If you have time ask Wes one of the owners for a tour of the brewery! My wife had the Leah Cider and liked it a lot. I didn't expect the 3 pizza's we ordered to all be so different and so good. The Brazilian, Hot Italian and White Clam. I can't choose the best one because I loved them all! Definitely a newer spot still working out some kinks with seating/serving larger groups, etc., but the space is clean and cozy. We chose to sit inside (thank you, air conditioning!), but the patio was busy as well. The patio was counter order and table delivery, while inside was full service. I had a cider (their local collab), and it was dry and tasty. I did get about a pint and a half, as the keg kicked while they were pouring but wanted me to get a full pour! My boyfriend had one of their beers and enjoyed as well. We split the Hot Italian Pizza. It had some kick, but was yummy and served hot. Definitely would recommend! read more

Too often people hand out too many stars in reviews. Our experience was perfect. Pizza was excellent. Great balance of flavors and drinks were great. Ordered margaritas that were top notch. Same with service. If others saw flaws because they're new....we didn't and so they earned their stars. Solid option worth a try. read more

We did not have a good experience, the service was lacking and forgot utensils and plates to share food, we had to ask for both. Also, the drinks came out after we were all done eating (12 total people eating there keep in mind). Caesar salad was a tower of lettuce with an anchovy on each one. Fishy salad!!!!! Also my friend ordered a Bloody Mary and it was genuinely pink it looked like the dragonfruit refresher from Starbucks LOL. And it tasted like BEETS!! Like straight beets. We all agreed too. We should have taken pics of it lol but we were so freaked out. When we complained to the server about her drink she made a very judgy face???? Service and food sooo strange. We went to noble twist on a Wednesday night for the first time - great outdoor and indoor seating options, we opted for inside at the bar, comfy and modern space. Bar staff were so nice and welcoming- we had the arugula caprese salad and it was really good with some sort of magic salt crystals on the salad. We ordered the pepperoni with hot honey on the side the pizza was really good - New Haven style. We had the Pilsner and a wine and then I finished with a gin and fennel/aquavit drink (or two) - all home made ingredients- so tasty. Pizza, salad and beer are outstanding! Especially the pizza! I'm eager for them to offer more beer options on tap. When I was there, they had three. I had a Witbier that was terrific.
