I've been treated to these donuts a few times since the location opened as my work is very close to here. Most recently, my boss picked up a box of these donuts a couple days ago to welcome a new hire to our team. She went with a variety pack so there were 6 different donuts to taste. We all decided to try a bite of every flavor.... so I tried 5 different donuts. There was a cake with chocolate sprinkled which I would rate average. There was a pumpkin spice - very moist and I loved the frosting on top. There was one that tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch - LOVED! There was the classic maple bacon- this is one of my absolute faves and of course I loved it. I came by Duck Donuts to use my Experience Booklet which was a free donut with a coffee. I ordered the dulce de leche iced season latte that was advertised on a picture and took the girl's recommendation of a strawberry shortcake donut. They make the donuts hot off the press a top them with your chosen flavor. The strawberry was absolutely delicious and I ate the donut in about 5 seconds. The coffee on the other hand wasn't awesome. The girl making it had her mask pulled down which I don't love and it didn't have the pretty whipped topping from the picture. It tasted just ok I didn't end up finishing it. I'm not normally a donut person (shhhh) but these donuts are pretty wonderful. They come hot out of the fryer and then are assembled before your eyes. I especially like that the person creating your box seems to be focused on getting all the toppings correct and are happy to be there. The staff always seems happy to greet the customers. When they are making the donuts, I like to ask them questions about what they are doing and which is their favorite. I have been ordering their seasonal boxes lately. For me, it's too impossible to mix-and-match donuts or even to create your own. Each month, there is a new themed box with different toppings. Some months they are the same donuts, but with a new name. Here are what I thought of this month's flavors: -Ants Marching: it's a regular glazed donut topped with chocolate sprinkles -Halloween Mist: again, another glazed donut with Halloween sprinkles -Brain Bits: this one was good, glazed and then topped with apples and streusel -Spider Web: this might be my favorite bc its covered in cinnamon sugar and then crisscrossed with vanilla icing -Dirt N Worms: you know this one from your childhood, it's covered in chocolate, then covered in Oreo cookie pieces, and finally topped with gummy worms (the first thing I ate in the entire box was the gummy worms) -Halloween Bat: chocolate icing with Halloween sprinkles -Full Moon: completely covered in powdered sugar (don't eat this one while wearing a black shirt) -Halloween ghost: covered in vanilla icing and topped with Halloween sprinkles -Boo Berry: another fantastic option! It can also be overwhelming to pick from so many possible combinations. But Duck Donuts helps you there by having a couple of laminated cards with suggestions. The ordering process was relatively easy though you had to get to the register to see the donut menu.
