Fast service, (inside and drive thru are quick!) great coffee and best donuts in town!

Great food and service was alright. This isn't a place a recommend dining in at and that is because there isn't much inside. the donuts are all pretty good and i have only had one sandwich and it was a breakfast one. read more

I've been here 3 times in the last 2 months for lunch and breakfast. Each time there is a young person that is a bit rude when I'm ordering. Today, for breakfast, I asked for a combo and ordered the drink with it. The worker said "I'll get there." About the drink. Then asked what kind of bread I wanted. The picture of the combo showed a croissant so I wasn't aware I was supposed to say a bread. (Bagel, croissant, toast, etc) And I laughed because it was kind of rude. The first window was a different person and gave me my donuts and drink politely, no problem. Then the second window I waited about 10 minutes, which is long for fast food, no problem because I want a newly cooked egg and hot. The girl came to the window and asked if I ordered "blah blah blah." Said no. She asked what I DID order. I ended up getting what I ordered. The 2nd window girl was nice. So they seem somewhat unorganized. The young people are apathetic to customers. The person taking orders shouldn't keep asking "is that all?" They should be asking "what else can I get you?" That raises sales. And that makes a customer feel like they're being paid attn to. I'm coming from the pov of someone who's worked retail and food. If the first point of contact is rude, you're going to lose business. Most people won't say anything, just not come back. This is a small business, they need to to be hitting 100 on all areas. Or you'll lose business and you won't know why. People play a major part in a business succeeding.im now going to mention my croissant was very burnt. The donuts were fast and very good!!!! But its unfortunate when the negative outshines the positive Update a couple of months later: I believe the owner woman took my order. I got attitude major when I asked for confirmation that my burger would be made on a croissant. It'll be awhile before I come again. And it took forever when I was the only one in line. read more

Every time I want Tony's I have to ask myself if it's worth the hassle. First off I love the breakfast sandwiches and the donuts are by far the best. But good grief, the place is a cluster f--k. I usually use the mobile app to order. It's never ready by the time shown in the confirmation email. This morning they were busy, the regular line was backed to the door. But there was only 2 people in front of me for online pickup. I waited 20 minutes before those people were out of the way. 20 minutes for 2 people. Coffee and donuts should not take that long. By the time they got to me, my order had already been sitting there for about 15 minutes getting cold. So I'm standing there waiting to pickup my order, and it's sitting there in a bag behind the counter. I'm just waiting for someone to hand it to me. The whole point of online ordering is to skip the line. Just put the orders in a place people can pick them up like every other place does. or put more of a priority for online orders. I counted about 15 people go thru the regular line and about 10 go thru the drive thru while I was waiting for someone to hand me my order sitting behind the counter. That should be unacceptable. read more

Tony's has our favorite croissant glazed & french iced doughnuts! It's awesome that they're open later so we actually came by after dinner to get doughnuts as dessert. I had no idea such a delicious breakfast spot was right down the street from my friend's house! We stopped in for a quick doughnut but ended up hanging out for a bit with breakfast sandwiches that were really tasty. With a side of doughnut, obvi. The doughnut was FRESH - soft and pillowy with a milk chocolate glaze. My sandwich, on Texas toast, had a fresh egg, cheese and flavorful sausage patty. Really big, clean indoor seating with a nice patio. Don't let a long line fool you, service was quick and friendly. Will def be back! read more

We went there on a Monday evening. Place is very clean and has a drive through. We ordered different donuts ranging from regular to sprinkle , M&M toppings and all of them are delicious. We also ordered the turnover as per the sales person's suggestion. It's so good. It's a puff pastry with fillings in it. I remembered a similar pastry in India where the filling would be sugar and shredded coconut. Tiramisu is also pretty good. Service is also great. Seems like they do have more than donuts with coffee, breakfast and lunch sandwiches Tip: I heard it's pretty packed in the mornings. This location is very close to my home, so we've stopped by a few times. My most recent experience was through the drive through and it was fast and the employee was nice. They could use a marker at the beginning of the drive thru line. I went through at night and it can be difficult to determine exactly where the drive thru lane is. This is important because if you mis judge it you will hit a concrete parking space marker. But you can't see it well when you are turning. Maybe a flag or other taller indicator. They have a nice variety on their menu and serve donuts all day long. It's impressive that they still have popular styles even later in the day. Prices are aligned to the market and the donuts are a good size and taste good. I've only tried the donuts, so I can't speak to the other food. The donuts are good but not my favorite. I'm giving a 4 instead of 5 because I will still drive right past this place to go to my favorite donut place. read more

The drive-thru line moved quickly, and the wait time was minimal, which is always a plus when you're on the go. They were friendly, efficient, and made the whole experience smooth and pleasant. Tonys is back! New on Dorsett, (I think the mckelvey location is closed for renovations) This place is huge and clean with TVs and tons of selection of donuts and breakfast and lunch items! Service is still great, friendly staff, great food and donuts. Awesome place to hangout now and get some work done if you need. Went through the drive through for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. There were 5 cars ahead of me which I could not see upon entering the drive thru. Had I seen the line I would have went in as once you are in the line you have to stay. I spent 15-20 minutes in line. After that my coffee was super and I selected the breakfast croissant with bacon, egg and cheese. The meal came with a side as well and I picked a glazed donut (to share with someone). My sandwich was hot and so flaky. They do have a large inside and outside area but I was trying to be in a hurry. So the wait was probably longer than going inside for takeout, but the meal was great! Best coffee I've had in a while. read more

We love Tony's donut. We usually go to this location in Dorsett, but they have another location in Hazelwood. The place is spacious and always clean. Service is always fast and friendly. I am not a fan of donuts but I will eat Tony's donut because they are not overly sweet and very tasty. Today I only got the glazed donut. My partner got himself a Boston cream with chocolate icing. I usually take Hwy 40 to work but today the GPS suggested Hwy 70. I stopped at Tony's Donuts because I wanted to bring donuts to work. I had not been here since they moved into the old QT building. It's very nice! The donuts are good. My favorite donut here is French Raspberry (cruller). I also had a bite of the cake donut with mini M&Ms and it was very good. Lot of people here early in the morning. Also, they have a drive thru! Who doesn't love that? I'm sure I'll be back! read more

Most Saturday's after church my wife and I stop at Tony's . We order the double smashed Cheese burgers and fries. I don't what they do with the fries but they are the most delicious French fries we have ever eaten. At 78 years old we can consider our selves connoisseurs of the French fry. I love to bake and I wish I had their recipe and process for making donuts. They are the lightest and fluffiest you could hope to have. We consider them a St. Louis institution. read more

Food is good Ambiance Well thought out. Service needs thought! Ordered and several times told what time the Order will be ready. I work in St Charles, Mo. When I arrived people are always standing in the Pick Up area, because there is no marking on floor that states Pick Up only! Pick Up is never monitored, there has been times where my Order is ready but, 3 workers crowd around counter helping 1 person while the other area is not monitored and care is not given to the pick up. Keep in mind a great deal of the Business is online! Always someone at drive through. Lastly I should not have to wait 5-8 Minutes to get help to give me my Pick Up order which most of the time is already ready to go, or I get oh, which donut did you order, and at times they go to the grill area to put my sandwich in the bag. This will probably be my last time going there until this issue is fixed with the Pick Up Lane. I suggest to put matching vinyl 2" strips down running 6ft from the counter matching color scheme of the store. 2ndly staff need to loose tunnel vision and see where customer's are and acknowledge them and let them know they will be with them shortly, then they will know all or not waiting to order food! Here's the thing, you pull up and it's obvious that this place is joyful. Great signage, lots of color, clean, fresh, and a back wall of these beautiful, scrumptious looking (and smelling!) donuts, and other items too. The donuts are that tender, flaky, not cakes kind, with the crackly sugar and frosting that could have been made by your grandma, super tasty, and seemingly with real vanilla. A grand slam doughnut joint! I recommend you try the vanilla long John - it is my wife's favorite and now it is mine. Stop by and pick out your favorite donuts and remember to break it open and smell it deeply before you eat it, the smell, oh my goodness, it is entrancing.
