Mochi donut factory is a Filipino family owned bakery and boba tea place . I just love their uniquely shaped mochi style donuts. They disappear pretty quickly whether I bring a dozen to my work or at home to share with family and friends. The donuts themselves are chewy, but light and airy at the same time, with their special frosting flavors on top. My favorite is the mango flavor although churo is a close second. 10 / 10 would recommend, you won't go wrong with any of their 10 signature flavors. read more

Mochi Donut Factory has the best and most chewy mochi and I can say after many visits you must try the churro, strawberry and the cookies n' cream. Today I stopped by to grab some snacks while out shopping today. They were hot and fresh, and so very good. I had the jamocha almond, mango, pistachio, and taro. Topped it off with Thai Tea with boba. When I walked in the trays were empty, but they have a self order kiosk that allows one to place an order for what is left and grab other items on the menu. With so much going on along Manchester, sometimes it can difficult to spot little gems like this. Parking is always a plenty here, as they share a lot with other neighboring businesses. The café itself is clean and bright with seating indoors and out. They offer a few different options when it comes to ordering: online, via a little tablet in-store, or in person. We ordered via tablet and the system was user-friendly and ran without any hiccups. Our order was received promptly by the staff and brought out just as quickly. We tried a little bit of everything, including their bubble tea. The donuts are soft and have a bit more of a bite than your traditional yeast or cake donut. I actually prefer the mochi donut as they also aren't as sweet (specifically the dough). Their flavors are limited, but they offer enough to make you want to return to try their other flavors. Our favorites were the taro, black sesame, and white chocolate pebbles. Their bubble tea was a little on the sweet end. Like some other bubble tea shops around town, I would love the option to be able to tailor the sweetness to my liking. Wow this place is amazing! I unfortunately live quite far away but had made an appointment at the Rainforest Head Spa which happens to share strip mall space this this restaurant. I immediately zeroed in on this place as I parked and spent the next hour thinking about the little treat I would get after leaving the spa. When I walked in the display case was essentially depleted but the friendly employee was quick to assure me that they had all the flavors and pointed me to an ordering kiosk where I could see photos of the items. I went with taro, matcha, churro, and chocolate. All delicious but the taro really takes the cake. The donuts were still warm. Loved the consistency of the dough. I brought my daughter to Mochi Donut Factory for a fun spring break breakfast. We ordered four donuts and two boba teas at the kiosk station. You don't know how excited I was to hear that a mochi donut shop opened up in St. Louis. It is a bit far from the city, but honestly I will drive the distance for these goodies. The store itself is tucked away in a small strip mall off of the main road. The space inside is very clean, and there are a few tables to sit at + a high top table by the window. My fiancé and I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, and there were a few other customers in the store. Their inventory was not fully stocked, but that was anticipated. They did still have one of each flavor available. There was an option to order at the self-serve kiosk, but we ordered directly at the counter. We shared four different donuts - rocky road, strawberry, mango, and white chocolate with pebbles. My favorite was the strawberry and the white chocolate with pebbles. The strawberry was light, tasty, and spot on. The fruity pebbles on the white chocolate donut added a nice crunch. The mango was good, but it didn't really taste like mango. The rocky road was a bit disappointing; it tasted like a chocolate donut with some nuts with one marshmallow in the center. You can't beat the price though -$2/donut! My go-to's are the matcha, taro, and black sesame donuts, but I saw that they had a new flavor (Thai tea) and wanted to try that one instead! I've also tried the cookies and cream one too. The donuts are nice and chewy, and I like the subtle creaminess of many of the flavors. They're also not super sweet, which I really appreciate! The black sesame is the secret star of the show, as the sesame flavor really shines on the donut. My only qualm is that I feel like the flavors could be more pronounced than they are, and there's a little bit of inconsistency from donut to donut but overall would definitely recommend trying out this cute little shop! read more

I love mochi and I love sweets but I'm honestly not a big donut fan. They are usually way too sweet... but mochi donuts are a donut I could eat daily! Light and fluffy with a very slight chewy texture from the mochi. I kept breaking off half a donut, then would have "one more piece" until the whole donut was gone...x 2! The flavoring is only on the top, leaving you to actually being able to taste the dough which I liked. I tried Mango, Strawberry, Matcha and Pistachio. The fruit flavors had a more artificial taste than "fruit" taste but with the bright colors it's not exactly a surprise, plus it's a fried donut! They have more chew to them, definitely like mochi and they don't feel as heavy. They almost didn't seem fried, definitely not greasy. I highly recommend! We also tried the brown sugar milk tea with boba. Very cute In presentation and tasty! Worth the trip! In a small strip mall next to silky's with plenty of easy parking. I was excited to notice the Mochi Donut trend had hit St. Louis. I stopped in at about 10:30 on a Sunday morning and, in all fairness, it closes at 11am. The only way to order is the automated order taking machine on the counter. I wasn't too thrilled about this because when I walked in a woman and her 3 snotty children had their hands all over the screen of it and there was nothing there to wipe it off with before touching it. Also, I spent $4.90, and instead of handing someone a $5 bill I was forced to swipe a card which I prefer not to do for such a small amount. The only flavors still left were Strawberry and Rocky Road so I got one of each. I was hoping to bring some to a function I was going to later but that's not the way it worked out. Mochi is supposed to have a bouncy texture. It should have been crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. They were a little stale. I only took one bite of the rocky road. I did enjoy the strawberry topping though. Whatever the pink dusting on it was it tasted like a good humor strawberry shortcake bar. These are very cute but I'm probably not rushing back. read more
