Well the concept is awesome but unfortunately they have the wrong crew running it specially for a sat morning the teen at the counter was very slow putting toppings on the fresh donuts Also I think they should let the donuts cool down before adding glaze every thing I got was a mess when I got home I will try them again but this time I'm ordering ahead of time

We loved their donuts! We came here after lunch for a bit of sweet dessert. Luckily, they weren't very busy -- just a mom and daughter ahead of us. We browsed the menu and then ordered. You can order at the kiosk, but the gal wasn't busy so she took our order at the cash register. I got a maple bacon and a sand dollar. The donuts were warm and freshly baked. They added on the toppings. The maple glaze and a lot of bacon bits. Absolutely delicious. And the sand dollar had a vanilla glaze, grated coconut, and powdered sugar. Sweet and yummy. My husband got a limited special one -- a peach cobbler -- and a lemon and strawberry one. He was very happy with his choices, too. We know we will be back. And I'd probably get the same two....

A New Duck Donuts location to try! Bright and welcoming with lots of choices and custom donuts for your sweet tooth! I had two, enjoyed the summer feature Peach Cobbler. Yum yum!

Freshhhhhh donuts but very slow service. The concept of one check in/check out counter is difficult in a busy plaza. I am never disappointed in the freshness or the flavors but the service is lacking. When we ordered ahead of time for breakfast, advised what time it would be ready... husband got there and the place wasn't even open yet. Took 30 more minutes for someone to open the store then wait for the baker to come then cook the donuts. They need .... Better management and organization.

Walking in my kiddos and I were greeted kindly. I love the area available to order on their tablet- I'm a visual person so I love seeing all the pics of each donut. Donuts were yum, nice and warm. Even the ladies gave my kids cute little ducks. They were so happy!

I've been meaning to try this place for a while, since it opened. We finally made it in here at about 5:30 pm. We were looking for something sweet after dinner. I had absolutely no idea that each donut was made to order. Nor did I expect them to be so fresh at that time of the evening. Makenna was super sweet and helped us with our selections with a smile on her face. Then I saw her hand dipping each donut and my mind was blown. I had no idea how they were created. Just thought they were picked off a shelf, already pre-made with their toppings. Nope! Such a nice surprise and we will be back. Very tasty indeed.

you must eat these donuts in the store as soon as they come out of the fryer. Every batch is made fresh to order. Once you take them home they're no different than Dunkin' Donuts or any of the others. Eat one in the store though and it is crispy golden deliciousness. It's super hard to pick out how you want to toppings or styles. They all look amazing. You pretty much can't go wrong with anything in this place but remember eat it while it's hot.

Duck Donuts is a chain of donut shops based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 2006 in Duck, North Carolina, by Russ DiGilio and Robin Griffith who met in 1992 when they were both working in the assisted living sector. After vacationing with his family in the Outer Banks, Russ sought to bring to the area the type of made-to-order-donut experience he had enjoyed on the boardwalks of New Jersey while growing up. The City of Duck inspired the name of the first donut shop to open in the Outer Banks. Duck Donuts has since grown to 100 shops in 22 states. Every donut made at Duck Donuts is a vanilla cake donut made fresh then coated, topped, and drizzled to your specification. You can pick one of their signature donuts or customize your own creation. The menu rotates frequently based on holidays, seasons, and things they want to celebrate. In addition to sweet treats they also make savory donut breakfast sandwiches. They even do donut milkshakes, donut ice cream sandwiches, and donut sundaes. I had stopped by the Southern Palm Crossing shopping plaza on Southern Boulevard in Royal Palm Beach to check out my favorite sneaker source, Going, Going, Gone! and as I was leaving the store I couldn't help but notice the new donut shop next door. This was my first time visiting a Duck Donuts. A single donut is around $2.50 and I decided on a seasonal flavor, Thin Mint Crunch inspired by Girl Scout Cookie season. The donuts are made to order so you can reasonably expect a bit of wait but the time to get a single donut was excessive here. I think they are still trying to get the hang of everything. Every donut is hand dipped by a gloved hand. Inevitably the glaze gets on the glove leading to what must be a lot of wasted gloves. I wish there could be a more environmentally friendly way of dipping donuts with some kind of washable kitchen tool. At one point while waiting I contemplated leaving without my donut but in the end I hung in there. I hate to cry fowl but I can't say it was worth it. I did not care for the spongey texture of the donut or the flavor. It was not an enjoyable treat experience. If you are interested in checking out you Duck Donuts you can scan the QR code to sign up for a free donut but to my disappointment they won't give it you until the next day after you sign up for texts and emails. I recommend trying them out before you commit to an entire box. As for me, I'll stick to Krispy Kreme where you can also get hot donuts but much faster and in my opinion better tasting.

There wasn't a person there to greet you or answer questions. You walk up to a self ordering kiosk and place your order. Not sure if that's intentional. We didn't wait long to hear our name to pick up our box. I have to say the donuts were tasty but rich. My teen ate two. Will try again and maybe eat one of their signature flavors. 4 stars

I am thrilled to finally have a Duck Donuts location near me. Always warm, fresh and made-to-order cake-style donuts. They get dipped, topped and drizzled exactly the way you'd like it. You can watch them get prepared through a glass and conveniently has a little step so the little ones can see too. All the associates provided friendly service especially one of the owners, Spencer. It was a pleasure to meet him. He seems like such a nice, welcoming guy and he is really excited to bring Duck Donuts to our area. I wish him and his business partner tons of success. Duck Donuts will always be my favorite treat.

I have only enjoyed JD when ppl have brought them to work cause these donuts high af, $13.75 for 6 donuts is crazy work. The last girl moved fast and they had a line. I could tell she was really ready for me to pick but girl I ain't spending money for questionable donuts. I know my tastebuds. At any rate, she still overall maintained good customer service. The first time I came, the young lady was super patient, authentically. My personal favorites are creme brûlée, maple, french toast, chocolate and glazed holland cream. They have so many varieties, I wanted to try new items the second time but because others are cake donuts, fruity or coconuty, my box was nearly the same both times. Again, they are bomb donuts so I ain't complaining too loud. But goodness, let me stop before my fat azz be up there again tomorrow!

They have so many varieties of pastries, desserts, and cakes on display that's it is hard to choose. The Cuban sandwich was excellent. Slightly warm on pressed fresh Cuban bread. And the pork, ham, and cheese inside were very good as well. In fact, it was one of the better Cuban sandwiches we've had in quite awhile. For dessert, my husband got a guava and cheese pastelito. It's in the shape of a turnover. Not too sweet because the cheese tempers the sweetness of the guava. It is one of his favorites. I tried a chocolate Napoleon with merengue. The top layer had the chocolate glaze and there were thick meringue layers between each pastry layer. It was a bit gloppy and not the easiest to eat. Very sweet but good. I brought half home.
