During my most recent visit here I got a burger with fries and a Margarita. The burger was a large half pounder that was well made, very juicy with fresh veggie toppings. Fries were quite good as well with a nice crunchy texture. Relative to my Margarita on the rocks it was quite large in its own right, guessing 12 to 16 oz's and very tasty. Supposedly 2 oz's of Blanco were in the drink but was hard to tell based on all the other components and size of the drink which diluted the liquor. At $9 it is a great deal where my friend had an Old Fashioned for $10 which he was quite happy with as well. Overall another nice outing at Bill's Tip N Inn where I have become a regular at this business.

Someone asked if they could get breadsticks and she rudely said, "are you just here for the free breadsticks?" Then they tried to check out (our table was ready) and she says, "You are going to have to pay your bill to check out". Ummm... yes that is what we are asking to do. It was really busy, but the attitude was uncalled for. I would have given 4 stars should we have a better experience at the bar. On the other hand, our server at the table, and especially the hostess were a breath of fresh air. So many people waiting and she still was trying to smile and greet us the best she could. The food was decent, good breadsticks, great French Onion Soup, loved that Traverse City Spinach dip! We got some salads, and Chicken Pot Pie had a good flavor. The sound system was great, I really wish there was more seating in the area near the bands.

I was thoroughly impressed with what I saw. The school offers high quality experiences not only to children, but also to parents and staff members. The campus includes beautiful indoor and outdoor classrooms that are thoughtfully set up with activity offerings for children. I observed the intentionally of the teachers to create a curriculum that matches the unique interests and skill levels of the children in their care. The growth of the children is then lovingly documented in learning stories and evidence that is displayed throughout the campus. I walked away inspired to incorporate in my own classroom many of the things I saw. If I were raising young children in the Highland area, I would certainly enroll them at Building Blocks.

He made life long friends, immeasurable personal growth, and has so many cherished memories from his time at Building Blocks. I absolutely loved the teachers there, their Reggio Emilia inspired philosophy, and the leadership of Suzanne Gabli, Building Blocks Executive Director. My son graduated from preschool with self-confidence, empathy, a love for nature, and the tools he needed to be successful in kindergarten and elementary. I can't give high enough praise to Building Blocks. I would recommend them wholeheartedly .
